Can someone please tell me what the coolest and rare creatures to own here on Egg Cave are?

Well it mostly depends on what your personal preferences are, but a lot of people like the Onny and Yuki. The rarest creatures are the Mackbot and the Doovoo.

Coolest is a matter of opinion. Check through the Archives to decide. The list for rarity is also on the Archives.

As for most valuable, CSPs, Asteroid creatures, Endangered (from the Oasis), Thief Shop creatures, and old LEs are very valuable. Recent LEs and star creatures are also valuable. Current LEs will be valuable in the future, and commons are not valuable unless they become Endangered, thus ceasing to be Commons.

Values for SARC creatures can be found in the SARC, and values for Seasonals vary by month.

Mos and Terrons are technically Commons, though they're very hard to find and each go for 100k 🪙.

I agree that Coolness is a matter of opinion, what one person finds cool, another might not.
I personally find many creatures cool and interesting.
You can look through the Archives to figure out what you might find cool!

As for rarity, there is a rarity chart which you can read Here.
The higher the number, the more rare the creature.
