I've been anticipating this for such a long time! And then there's a bug on the 'Hunt' page... vmv

so many hours 'til it starts >.< in my country it's already 11am and I have lots of time now, but not sure I will have in 7 hours .3. *sigh*

@dragonelle I think that there are no eggs to find at the moment because we're not able to access the official page for the Hunt ☹️

Thought the Easter Egg Hunt had started.

When you click the link that says: Get collecting now!
The page does not indicate that things have begun.

The notification there says:
Our annual Easter Egg Hunt will return in April! Thank you to all who participated!

Once the blog was posted that the event had begun, I started searching for eggs. So far, I have not found a single one.

Has it begun or is there some kind of a glitch??

I don't really know what to think because no mods seem to have said anything about this :/ If it is a glitch, I guess they will resolve it as soon as they can and all we can do is wait for it to be resolved.

If the event hasn't actually started yet; I'm just going to guess and say I think it might start at 12pm ECT (in just over 5 hours), it just seems the most logically time to me since it didn't begin at Midnight and 12pm/am can be quite easy to mix up at times.

Nope, no one has said anything but there was a new site blog post this morning that did say the event had officially started. Can't imagine why they would send that out if it had not..

So I am imagining that there is some kind of problem.

Hope they get what ever it is resolved soon.. I am anxious to hunt eggs ....lol 😊

That's what I'm talking about, I didn't see it until 2am ECT (7am where I am) so it confused me that the event hadn't started yet.

I don't want anyone to think I am angry or am trying to force anything to be done about this right this very second- I'm just slightly confused and waiting to hunt eggs like everyone else, I just hope finding 30 different ones isn't too hard.

They are small images that can be found anywhere on the webpages. You need to click the egg for it to be found.

I have a bunch of questions 😊
The first (is this a bug or a glitch?) is that I have found 5 eggs so far, but at the Easter Egg Hunt HQ it's said I have found 0. Are more people having this problem or am I the only one? (maybe it will take a while before it is noted?).

Another question is more hunting related. I was wondering if eggs have the habit of showing up in particulair places (until now all I have found were at the end of a sentence) and if there are places on the site they won't show.
With this I am most of all interested in the background of the site, do they show up there? Because I never look there nor at the top of the site 😋

What do the eggs look like and could someone please tell me a bit more about this Egg Hunt? I've looked on almost every page and found absolutely nothing. :/ I'm kinda confused, and new to this.

It's a bug that Ian has been notified about. Keep searching it just won't say how many you found just yet, but you can still find the eggs.

Also they can be found anywhere. Profile pages, the shops, ends of sentences, beginning of sentences...no place is left out. You just have to keep searching 😃

They are very small, mini versions of eggs already released on EggCave. So they will look like an egg but as small as this "O". They are on pages but sometimes they will show up and other times not (as they are stubborn and don't want to be found) so sometimes refreshing will allow you to find an egg. 😃

This is the same for me, I just found one and though the image has changed to the mackatron egg my count hasn't changed.

The eggs are tiny, and by tiny I mean they are barely noticeable for me (Or I am just bad at this 😋 ). The eggs are randomly spawning as far as I know and I think they appear on any page. You really get it once you find the first one, before that you pretty much are just wandering around XD

They are roughly the same size as the emoji/faces/emoticons whatever you like to call them and I keep mistaking them for eggs!
