I was thinking, since summer will be when more people are online and will be available, how come it's when egg cave slows down and there's nothing to do? So, I thought of different things eggcave can have in the summertime.

1). Summer Carnival.
The Summer Carnival will run from the first day of summer to the first day of fall.
Basically, a summer themed Halloween Fair. Users can collect something, maybe cotton candy cones or tickets of some sort, and spend them in the Carnival's shop.
For the Carnival Shop, there can be maybe one or two creatures, cotton candy, summer themed travels, and maybe like a beach ball or something.

2). Farmer's Market
The Farmer's Market will run from June 1st to August 1st
Users can open different stands and sell their items or creatures for ec or cc and/or buy from other users' stands.
For the stands, users can name them and then choose it they will sell items, creatures, or both.
If users choose to sell items, they can then choose what kind of items (travels, food, toys, ect.).

That's all I can remember at the moment... brain fart.
I hope you like my ideas and choose to use them. I know it would probably a lot of coding, sorry.
I'd love to hear what everyone thinks and if they have any ideas on how to improve it.

Maybe extend the Farmer's Market time? Ex. May 23rd - July 1st / June 5th - July 20th / July 6th - August 28th...etc

I totally agree. I have only been on Egg Cave for about a year now, but I joined in May and it was exciting until summer and then I got a little bored. Fall + winter have been awesome though, and spring is fun too. 😋 I love it here, but I think we could spruce up the summer time!!! XD

Thats sounds really cool!

But about the farmers market:
I think it is really hard to make this tho. Unless you make it like the click exchange, but then with items!
Because making a market for every individual is a lot 0.o

And also selling you creature for cc/ec is the same as the trading post? So I dont see the point of making another event to sell your creatures.

But good thinking tho! ^^

I really like the summer carnival idea! I haven't experienced a summer on eggcave yet (I signed up in February), but I'd like it if there was a summer activity. I think it's smart to do something that is longer than a week or two (like the egghunt or chocolate extravaganza were), because people will be on holliday in summer, and it would suck to have missed a yearly event because it was only for a week or so. So to have an event from the first day of summer to the first day of autumn sounds like a great idea 😃

@xmar_13 Yeah, maybe show like 5 or so stores on the farmer's market page then each user's store on their profile. Also probably a search engine to search by user or store name.
I was thinking more of a specific price instead of just "This creature for 800,000 ec" like the trade center, where anyone could give any amount anyways, but buy it for that amount and only that amount.
