Another egg-thief!

Figured I might as well brag about my egg-stealing in this newbie section! =) Looking frward to collecting pets.

@silvercoug - Welcome to Egg Cave! If you have any questions, feel free to ask me.

If you are replying to someone, you should ping them. Otherwise, they won't know that you've done so. To ping someone, either click the bell icon under their username in the forums, or type an @ followed by their username (e.g. @sparklefox ). You can only ping up to five people per post. Sorry if you knew this already.

Checking out the Forum Rules and the Site Guidelines would be an easy way to start. Other useful links are the FAQ and eCode.

A common mistake from newbies is that they'll ping and reply to people using their own wall. Pinging does not work out of forums and the blog, and to reply to people's comments you go to their wall instead.

@sparklefox, thanks for the info! I was not aware that you need to ping people OR that ping only works in the forum.
Being new to a site can really suck sometimes. I have been using yarold on a couple eggs and I can see how much of a difference it makes! I am going to have to use it as often as possible since I cannot be online every single day. I'm typically online every other day or so. Do you think a Feed-back thread will accept me if I can only log in every other day instead of daily?

@silvercoug - You're very welcome. I really need to get back into using Yarolds again. And I'm not too sure, since I'm not really part of any of them. But, I guess it would ge alright? As long as you don't just log in about once a month or so, they'd probably be fine with it.
