After winning auction, get previous auction EC back?

I noticed that the notification for winning an auction doesn't tell you whether or not it returned your money for all the previous bids, and I don't believe I got it back after winning a few recent auctions. Is this a bug? If not, i'll go suggest that you get your EC back because it only makes sense that you do.


Or, perhaps i'm just not waiting long enough? It's been 15+ minutes.

You mean when bidding on the same auction right? Well when you bid on an auction and bid again with more ec, it doesn't count it as a new bid, it adds on to the previous bid, if that make sense.

For example, if you start out a bid and pay say, 1,000 ec. Then someone outbids you and you pay 5,000 ec to outbid them. You don't pay an additional 5,000 ec, but 4,000 ec plus the initial 1,000 ec you bid before.

So there's no need to wait for your ec to be returned since there's nothing to be given back. Hoped this helped^.^
