Mangle looked at Epidote. She had a feeling that she needed to protect this girl. Besides, she seemed nice. Jennifer realised that the dark haired boy was also hiding. From Foxy and Mangle. She saw the light haired boy looking around for the other one. She looked at Epidote. Then at the boy. She hesitated. Then, moving through the shadows, she stood next to Epidote. "Uh, Epidote? I.... I think the new nightgaurds are... scared." There was general confusion in her voice.

The boy turned to face Jennifer. For the first time, she noticed his eyes were a very strange shade of blue. They were almost... purple. No, she thought. It was probably just the light...

"If they're scared, then they might want to be left alone." replied Epidote calmly.

"Maybe..." said Jennifer. She never thought that humans could be scared of the animatronics. Of her. Then she realised she was standing in the light. And that the light haired boy had took one cautious step closer. She shrank back into the shadows. All the boy could see were her emerald eyes.

The dark haired boy was hiding in the shadows. He had his eyes closed. He had always been scared of robots. I wonder why THAT could be, he thought. He didn't notice that Jennifer was right in front of him, and that she was about to back into him...

Noticing that there was about to be a bit of a commotion, Epidote became invisible again and backed away.

Jennifer's tail touched the boy's hand. She jumped up onto the ceiling. Why was she so scared of humans?

The dark haired boy felt the tail on his hand. It felt... Surprisingly warm, and furry, like a real cat....

The light haired boy's arm was still bleeding. He began to feel dizzy. Suddenly he fell to the floor....

Still invisible, Epidote silently glided to the Nightguard's side, and laid a hand on his bloody arm. She felt him jolt in surprise, but then whispered to him. "Don't worry, I'm not going to hurt you."
Invisibility was useful when you wanted to go unnoticed, but not so great if you wanted to talk to someone without scaring the crap out of them. She handed him (The one with dark hair) some bandages and tried to transfer some of her energy over to help him recover faster.

I have no idea. I'll start doing that.

Marshall looked at where the bandages had come from and mouthed, 'Thank you.'. He quickly wrapped up his brother's arm. He looked at Josh. Suddenly, Josh started to wake up. He stood up slowly. "I... think.... I'm fine now." He said. He still sounded unsure, but better than he did last time.

"Oh, please, do forgive me for being so rude. I have just realised that I haven't introduced myself yet. I am Josh." Marshall looked as if he were speaking, then shouting, but no sound came out. He sighed and reached into one of his pockets. He pulled out a notebook. He reached back into the pocket, as if expecting to find a pen, and looking panicked when he discovered it was empty. He searched all his other pockets, but they were empty too. He looked at Josh. "You've lost it again?" Josh asked. "Oh dear, I'm not sure I have a pen this time. This isn't good at all."

"What's going on?" Asked Mangle. "Oh, I'm terrible sorry, but you see, my brother, Marshall, cannot speak, and so writing is his only form of communication," Josh replied. Jennifer jumped out from the shadows. "You need a pen? I think there was one on the office desk but.... I don't want to go near the scary newcomers..." She said. "But I'll help."

They were in the shadows of the hall again. The newcomers were still there. This time, Jennifer froze with fright.

Epidote shrugged, then realised she was still invisible. "I can lip read, even from a distance." she whispered. Just wait for a second..."

Epidote tapped Jennifer on the shoulder. "The Newcomers will not hurt you."

Jennifer looked at them. Suddenly, she didn't feel so scared. She focused on the pen. She ran out, faster than any of them thought was possible, grabbed the pen, and ran back into the shadows. "WHAT WAS THAT?!?!?" Asked Vincent.

Jennifer came in, breathing heavily. "Never make me do that again..." She said.

"See?" asked Epidote proudly. "They didn't hurt you, did they? Also, I didn't MAKE you go, you went by yourself. Don't worry, I don't think they saw you or anything..."

She patted Jennifer on the shoulder and carefully went to close the door so that the newcomers would not come looking for them. Then she noticed a clock on the wall. 3:25am.

"Hey, I'm still here." Epidote said, and this time she removed her invisible disguise. She closed her eyes and waited for the brothers to react to her true form.

Marshall's eyes widened, and a wide smile spread across his face. "Oh my goodness, she has wings!" Josh exclaimed involuntarily. Mangle came down from the ceiling. "Woah!" She said. Foxy was looking the other way at first, but then he looked at her and lifted his eye patch. "Me patch must be over me good eye," He shifted it to the other one. "Aye... She does!"

Jennifer smiled. Then she heard a clanking noise, and her smile disappeared instantly. "Well, well, well. What do we have here?" Jumpscare said. "It seems we have given off the wrong impression," Josh said, almost as if nothing happened before, "I am Josh, and this is my brother Marshall." He smiled politely. "Ah yes. You must be the two our sister told us about." The other Beanies came out of the shadows, and Josh's smile faded slowly.
