@animalz October 31, the same year.Epidote pulled her cloak tighter around herself, hoping that nobody would see her wings. The wind tousled her long, black hair as she carefully stepped out into the dark street. Normally, she would never had been brave enough to do this. But tonight was different. Tonight, it was okay to look freakish. Because it was Halloween.She carefully walked along the street, her long cloak blowing out slightly behind her. Hoping that nobody would notice her, she stuck to the shadows. It was a few minutes to midnight, she could clearly see that from the full moon rising above the unlit city. But of course, there were still people about. That was the bad thing about a special celebration, even though they wouldn't notice anything they could stay up celebrating for the entire night.Epidote decided to turn away from the street lights and travel down one of the adjacent alleyways where no one would see her. It was a shame to turn away from the place she liked, but at least there was privacy in the dark. Plus, she could fly around as much as she liked and nobody would see her! As soon as she was out of eyeshot, she threw off her cloak and spread out her wings. Unfortunately, she knocked a cracked pipe to the ground which made a loud crash.

@audrei9Jennifer heard a crash outside. "Uncle Foxy," She whispered, "I'm going to see what the noise was. 'Take care' of the nightgaurds, wouldja?" before anyone could stop her, she had raced outside.She saw a girl outside. But there was something different about her. She had... Wings! Sneaking through the shadows, Jennifer crept closer. She wasn't afraid of this person. Not at all. She suppressed the urge to jump scare everyone in the street and went near the girl, on her own, out of earshot. Perfect.When she was close enough, Jennifer climbed up the wall to watch the being. She hung upside down, waiting for the perfect moment. It struck when the being made a pipe clatter to the ground. Doing her best impression of a jumpscare screech, she pounced on the being, pinning her down by her arms and legs."Who are you and why are you here?" She asked. Her black shoulder-length hair was almost touching the girl's face. She wasn't afraid of her. Not one bit. She bared her cat like teeth, ready for if the girl tried anything.

@animalz Epidote gave a yell and pushed the strange girl away. "Hey! What are YOU doing here?!" With a start, Epidote suddenly realised that the girl was staring at her wings spread out. She went to grab her cloak, but then realised that it wouldn't help. So instead she flew up and landed on a lamp-post several metres away. "I could ask you the same question!" Epidote answered back. "Why the heck were you sneaking around back there and what the HECK was that for?!!"

@audrei9 Jennifer jumped onto the lamppost next to the girl's. "I could hear the crashing from the pizzeria. Do you know how much attention you could have brought to yourself? The jump scare was natural instinct. I'm like all the other animatronics, you know!""Speaking of the pizzeria, wanna go to the field outside it? It's much more private, it's bigger and there's no way to draw attention to yourself. I've seen it all through the window at prize corner. This is my first time outside..." Jennifer gave a gasp. "Mother Marion with be so mad. And even worse, so will the boss!"Jennifer found herself telling the girl all about how she was raised by 'Mother Marion' and her, being an animatronic, working for Jumpscare Beanie, or the boss, as she called her. She found herself saying about the frightening newcomers and how she had learned to protect herself. "Wait, why am I telling you this?" She looked around. "Come on!" Before she could be stopped, she took the girl to the heart of the field.

@animalz Epidote nodded slowly, but she was still finding it hard to trust the cat-girl which had attacked her so suddenly. "Alright then. My name is Epidote, and who are all these people you are talking about?" She asked. "Also, you REALLY don't look like an animatronic."Regardless of the bad feeling, Epidote followed the girl. There were hardly anymore humans on the street now, because of how late it had become.

@audrei9 "My name's Jennifer, but I prefer to be called Jen, it's much easier. Mother Marion is the animatronic who raised me. Uncle Foxy is-" Suddenly there were noises. Metallic footsteps. Foxy ran to Jen. "Marion will find out soon. We need to get back to the pizzeria." They were in the field just outside.Foxy took Epidote and Jen back to the pizzeria through the safe room. "This is Uncle Foxy. What do you mean I don't look like an animatronic?" Foxy looked alarmed at this. "Epidote," He said, "Can I have a word with you for a moment?" Foxy took Epidote to kid's cove. "Epidote, we can't let little Jenny find out she's not an animatronic. It would be dangerous for all of us. She can't find out yet."Jen was positioned in the hall when Epidote came back. "These are the frightening newcomers..." She whispered. She wasn't ashamed of the fear in her voice. "BB, come on, it's time!" "Hello?" He said. It was the fourth time he had spoken. "Fourth time, what does it mean?" Vincent asked. "You think I know?" Jeremy said. "Mask. Put it on." Crystal said, still mopping the floor whilst wearing the Freddy head. The others put theirs on too.

@animalz "Frightening newcomers..?" Epidote asked. "It feels as though we are being watched, but I can't see anyone. I'll just do something..."She looked around. Then she flicked her wing and vanished.Actually, Epidote knew that it would be near impossible for someone to see her in this state. Foxy could see her because he was right next to her. But to Jennifer and the strange Balloon animatronic, she was invisible. She would also be invisible to the cameras hidden in to corners of the room. "Don't worry, I'm still here." she whispered to Jennifer. "It just feels unsafe, so I decided to use my power to conceal myself. If you need me I'll be right here. Tell that to the others."

@audrei9"You nearly got there, BB..." She said, as BB went back in the vent, muttering and grumbling. "Flashlight." Crystal said. They took their masks off. As Jeremy got out the flashlight, Jennifer hid round the corner. Her chest was heaving. She didn't want these newcomers to see her.

@animalz "Jennifer, what are you doing?" Epidote hissed. "I thought you were scared!" She longed to follow the girl, but if she moved her invisibility would instantly be removed. There was nothing she could do but stay where she was and keep as still as possible. But if she moved slowly, there would still be a chance that the energy she had covered herself in would not be destroyed. But she still wouldn't be able to help.

The flashlight missed the girl and the light caught Foxy. "Argh, my eye!" Foxy yelled, in pain. "Uncle Foxy?" Jen asked. "I'm fine, just do your job." Suddenly most of her fear had turned to anger. She focused on the one that had used the flashlight. He was struggling to get his words out, but he was trying to ask Crystal what to do now.She did her best impression of a jumpscare screech and pinned him down, just as she had with Epidote. Then Foxy did the same with Crystal. Freddy tried to jump scare Vincent, but he put the mask on while Freddy was in mid jump. Freddy stopped in the middle of the jump, and he looked confused, "How did... You... You can't be...! Fredrick!" Toy Freddy came out of the hall. He was called Fredrick so nobody got confused. "Hey, Freddy, what's wrong?" "Who's this?" Freddy asked. "That's Freddy, see?" said Fredrick, pointing at Vincent. Freddy stood there, not knowing what to do. "But I'm Freddy..." He said faintly.The only thing the animatronics feared more than being tampered with, was being replaced. "Freddy, he's the nightguard!" Jen said, sensing what Freddy was thinking. "No, it's Fredd- Wait... There's two Freddys here..." Fredrick's tone turned grave.__________________________________________________@audrei9, what's going to happen to Epidote? @animalz Erm, IDK...I sorta dunno... ☹️Also, Epidote can turn herself invisible at will, if she stays still enough. She was invisible just then.____________________________________________Epidote heard a commotion coming from one of the other rooms, and panicked a little. Not for herself, for Jennifer. With a sense of annoyance, she realized that the only way to reach Jennifer would be to remove her invisibility shield. Great. She quietly tucked her wings away and crept forward like a cat. There were voices, and they sounded angry, confused and upset.

@audrei9 Mangle was above Vincent. She dropped from her place and landed on him, screeching on the way down. Vincent's mask flew off. Suddenly, Jennifer caught a glimpse of Epidote. She signalled for her to stay where she was. Freddy took Jennifer's place, and she ran over to Epidote."I really don't like having to do this." She said. "None of us do. But we have to. Boss's orders." Jennifer looked upset. "You know, I've never been outside before today. What's it like? Being able to go outside every day?"

Who the heck is your 'boss'?"She looked around, feeling scared, so she began to draw on her invisibility again. "I don't think this place is safe when there are people fighting here. Please let me talk to your Boss, I'll answer your question later."

@audrei9 "I don't think that's such a good idea-" She was cut short by a voice. "Take them to the back room." The voice belonged to none other than... Jumpscare Beanie. "B-boss!" Said Jennifer. "Oh, hello, Jennifer. I hear you're responsible for catching one of these. Well done. You saved us from a possible diaster." Jumpscare looked directly at Epidote. "Is there somebody with you, Jennifer?" "Boss," Said Mangle, "I can't hold this one down for much longer..." "The back room," said Jumpscare, then she turned to Jennifer. "We'll continue this conversation later." In the back room the Nightgaurds were tied up and questioned. "What were you meaning to do with us when you found us? Tamper with us? Break us?" Asked Jumpscare. "N-n-no!" Said Jeremy. "Well... You answered all the questions we had for you, and you said what we wanted to hear... So I guess you can go. I'm very sorry, you see, here at Freddy's, we just can't afford to be tampered with. We go near children, you see, and they could be harmed." Jumpscare seemed much more gentle now. She, herself, freed the nightgaurds and sent them on their way. "See, we fully intended to let them go." Jennifer whispered to Epidote.

@animalz "So SHE's your boss!" whispered Epidote, still invisible. "But if you people fully intend to let them go free, then why were you hunting them down in the first place?"Epidote tried not to sound worried. She was glad that Jennifer couldn't see the panic on her face."Being outside all the time isn't always great. It can get very cold at night, especially in winter. I only come out at night, and even then I have to hide. It's also quite dangerous sometimes..."Epidote had to stop, or else it would lead to her talking about her terrible past. She bit her lip, knowing she'd said too much.

There's some I won't tell you. But it wasn't long ago, and it wasn't pleasant. We were nearly all scrapped because of it. That's all I'm gonna say." "Jennifer," Said Jumpscare, sharply, "Who are you talking to?" "Uh, nobody!" Jumpscare narrowed her eyes. "Where were you earlier?" "In my box, boss," Jennifer lied. She knew Jumpscare could tell. She was going to get into big, BIG trouble...

@animalz Epidote slowly moved away from Jennifer, still invisible. "Don't worry, I'll sort this out." She carefully picked up a pencil and tossed it into another room, as far as she could. There was a clatter as it hit the floor in the other room. Jumpscare gasped and looked around. "There's someone in the other room! Stay right here." Jumpscare hissed to Jennifer, before running off. Epidote crept back to her friend with a sly smile. "I'm okay. Learnt this trick from the streets. It works every time!" she whispered.

@audrei9"Thank you," whispered Jennifer gratefully. Suddenly Jumpscare came out.... with two young nightgaurds! One of them was a handsome, tanned, black haired boy. He had large, dark brown eyes. The other was also a handsome boy. He had long, light hair and dark blue, almost purple eyes. He was wearing glasses. Jennifer didn't know this at the time, but they were brothers and they were called Josh and Marshall.The dark haired one risked a smile at Jennifer. It sort of a lopsided smirk. For some reason, she liked this smile. It didn't seem... painted on. Or plastic. Or fake at all. Jumpscare didn't notice this smile. "Are these the ones you were talking to?" She asked. "No. I've never seen them before." Said Jennifer, truthfully.

@animalz Epidote cocked her head to the side, wondering if she should distract Jumpscare again. She wasn't sure if anyone was in real trouble, but she slowly backed into a dark corner of the room where she could remove her invisibility shield without being noticed.

@audrei9 Jumpscare tightened her grip and the light haired one cried out in pain. I don't like the sound of that, it's not a jump scare screech, thought Jennifer. "Let them go. They didn't do anything." Jennifer said, in a choked voice. Jumpscare's eyes narrowed. Then she screeched, and went to attack the two boys.

@animalz Swifter than a blink, Epidote's hand closed around a large brick. With a flick of her wrist, she hurled it right at Jumpscare's face. Jumpscare yelled and staggered back, holding her head. In the confusion, stuff fell of the shelves in the room and clattered to the ground. Epidote was able to quickly duck back into the shadows without the crazed animatronic seeing her.

@audrei9As Epidote ran back to the shadows, the dark haired boy noticed her. He was about to run away, but Jumpscare went to attack the light haired boy. The dark haired boy found a metal crowbar on the ground and hit Jumpscare with it. It didn't seem to have an effect, except now Jumpscare was focusing on him. He backed away a few steps, the fear he had been feeling finally showing on his face. There was a metal clang, and Jumpscare fell onto one knee, holding her head. The light haired boy was behind her, holding a hammer. "Nobody messes with MY brother." The dark haired boy breathed a sigh of relief.

@animalz Knowing that she had been seen, Epidote knew there was no point in hiding any longer. She silently glided out of the shadows, her head bowed and her long, black hair falling slightly over her face. Her wings were concealed.

@audrei9 "WHO ARE YOU?!?!?" Asked Jumpscare. Blood soaked through the light-haired boy's shirt. His eyes widened as he saw it, but he didn't give any reaction. The dark-haired boy was much more worried. Jumpscare turned to Epidote. Jennifer knew the look on Jumpscare's face. She was about to attack Epidote!!!!

@animalz She ducked her head, rolling out of the way so fast that she was just a blur of black. As Epidote looked up, she saw Jumpscare trying to pull out of her attack but it was too late. CRASH!!!!Jumpscare's head slammed into the brick wall and she slumped to the ground, unconscious. Epidote calmly walked back to look at the robot.

@audrei9 Jennifer saw the dark haired boy run up to the other. He was mouthing words, but no sound was coming out. "I'm fine." said the light haired boy, but he didn't sound so sure."Epidote, are you okay?" Jennifer said running up to her friend. The boys started walking over. Jennifer gave a squeal, and ran to the shadows. Foxy ran in. He saw the boys, Jumpscare lying on the floor, Epidote and Jennifer's animatronic tail as it pulled into the shadows."YAA-AAAR, What go-ing on here?" said a voice from above them. "Mangle, we have newcomers!" said Foxy. "Why is Ju-umpscare on the flo-or?" she asked. Foxy shruggred.

@animalz "Oh," began Epidote, shrinking back a bit. "She tried to attack me, but I dodged and she hit her head really hard on the wall."She felt a bit nervous, as if she had done something wrong. The two young night guards were nowhere to be seen.
