Egg Stealing Lag- Multiple Eggs

So, I was just about to use the next steal attempt as the timer had reached zero, but the page froze up. I clicked another couple of times to make sure the click had registered and when it refreshed, there were 6 eggs in the 'previously viewed eggs' list.

Not quite sure what happened or whether it was just lag, but I decided to post about it anyway just in case it is or someone thinks I was cheating.

Same thing happened to me as well, but there were four eggs!

Also, egg cave as a whole has been laggy for me

I hadn't really noticed the lag until this morning. To be honest, this is the first time Eggcave has really acted up for me on any device. Suffice to say, I now get what people are saying about it :/

This, of course, happened on my laptop- which is slow anyway, but my mobile is doing weird stuff too; pages are normally thrown up immediately but have taken up to 6-7 clicks to work and then 30+ seconds to load O.o

But I guess that stuff is for posts targetting the lag itself, not the weird things it's throwing up 😋

It wasn't lagging earlier for me, but it starting to now :/

(I just got this bug too, got one 'extra' attempt. I'm running in Firefox on a rather strong desktop "gamer" computer. I've not really had any other lag issues though).

I happens to me, too. When It Lags, I count how many times I click on the 'Adopt' button. The number of times I clicked, Thats how many eggs show up for me when it happens 😊

It really does seem to be a lag thing :/ I've found this too.

I just find it really weird that all of these eggs are allowed to go through, normally the 'you're next steal attempt is in...' message pops up immediately after clicking to steal, but the balrog seems to be taking a break XD

I guess the best we can do it wait and hope that the lag sorts itself out, I'm not sure if it being the end of the summer holidays may be having something to do with it?

Yeah sometimes egg cave lags and steals multiple eggs at the same time. It happens to me a lot.

I have been having this issue for several days along with major loading lag of different pages.
