blade skated in a circle. if they skated fast enough, they would have harmless sparks in their wake. roxxy was almost skating fast enough.

blade:

"ya vwe're having fun."

rocky seemed to stumble a bit. he wished he had roller skates...roller blades made him feel like his legs would break inwards or outwards. but he dewalt with it, trying to learn a lesson.

they wouldnt make it there in 1 day or night, but they would probably be there soon.

rocky regained his balance.

rocky:

"ya, i'm fine." he said, right before one of his paws slipped a little.

then, there was a hill to go down. he wanted to slap himself in the face.

most of them skated down fine. rocky scrambled around and finally face planted near the bottom, with all his legs spread out.

"I don't know if this would work, but maybe you should try to skate like the way you battle while running or something like that." BlackHeart suggested doubtful.

rocky imagined himself charging nothing head first, in roller blades......ya thats a face plant right there.

rocky:

"thanks for the idea, but i'm pretty sure that's also gonna make me face plant."

rocky tried thinking of a way that he could skate easily.

he slid around a little bit, at some point getting ahead of the others, spinning a lot. he did notice that he wasn't stumbling as much if he was spinning. there were lots of rocks in the middle of the road, so he maneuvered his legs around all of them, somewhat looking like he was dancing. there was a huge one he couldnt move around, so he got a skating start and jumped over it, landing on his feet. his legs shook a little when he landed, but he was fine. most of the others ran into the rock anyways. rocky somehow danced around all the obstacles on the road, and thats when he figured out if he danced while still going forwards, he wouldnt loose his balance. and it was fun. he smiled.

he chased his tail in a circle, still going down the road. then, he did a backflip, almost loosing his balance. but he started moving his legs and figured out he liked skating.

BlackHeart finally tripped over a rock while she was skating carelessly backwards.

Kilven finally was almost there when she found a blue road and the scent of the pokemon she was after. She used agility and ran catching up.

blade wasn't to bad at skating himself. he could easily jump over the small rocks in the road. rocky was almost far ahead of everyone else because of his skating strategy.

BlackHeart got up and started skating again. She liked the rollerblades a lot because it was better than running. She caught back up with everyone else soon enough.

rocky still liked running better, but roller skates were easy to use.

it was now close to midnight and most of them were getting tired. rocky decided to wait for the others.

bolt:

"we should find somewhere to sleep."

The road went straight up above the mountains, then went in loops, squares, and circles.

She placed her paw on the ground again and closed the road, but there was a faint trail of it so that it would open again the same way it did.

BlackHeart stayed wide awake looking at the side of the walls of the burrows. How much longer till we get there? She thought

Kilven lost the blue road when she finally saw them. She was outraged and decided to camp along where she was.

The next day...

River woke up early to open the blue road and surprise everyone by adding loops, circles, squares, triangles and swirls to make the blue road more fun and interesting. Once she finished adding the things, she opened up the road.
