Gender of Creatures

What's the point of gender in Egg Cave Creatures? I mean, they can't breed, and there's no physical difference, but there's even potions for sale to change their gender. Why would people want to buy them?

@548662 There is quite no point, although different people (like me) prefer different creature genders.. I just can't explain it. It's like if someone wants a full male creature cove or a full female creature cove. It gives a good feeling.. and some feeling I just cannot explain. Personally, I prefer female creatures, but male is fine anyways, if I could choose, I would choose female. It's just like that. I don't really get why, though. This feeling.

As Firedawn said, people prefer certain genders. Just depends who you are I suppose ^^

In my case I have a lot of names of characters from anime. 😊 What I want to do is match the names with a creature that makes me think of the character. I also want to match the genders with the characters as well. Can't have a female creature named after a male character! 😋

Many people would prefer certain genders based on the creatures' species, it's steal date (Might mean something to them) or it's name 😊

I'm going to suggest a difference of genders between this new Creature I'm trying to invent.

Lots of people have suggested we could have a physical difference depending on sex. So far we haven't gotten a creature like that.

Some people use their creatures in RP on here, their sex will help in the stories.
Fan artist will give a creature a more feminine appearance if the creature they are depicting is female, and so on.
