Do you celebrate Halloween?

It is this time of year again and isn't it a blast. But then I wouldn't really know as I've never celebrated Halloween nor have I been trick or treating. So while I sit at my laptop wondering how different people enjoy Halloween I thought why not just ask the worldwide community of Egg Cave!

So, how do you celebrate Halloween, do you dress up and go trick or treating or stay inside and have a party?

If you do dress up, what are you dressing up as and what made you think about it?
If I was going to do something, I would be an undead bride since buying a wedding dress in an op-shop is dead cheap (ha... dead cheap) and making fake blood isn't too difficult.

Do you have any trick or treaters come to your door? In my whole life I've only seen one at my door and this boy was only in a $2 mask.

While we are talking Halloween, let's talk about the pranks as well! What sort of Halloween mischief have you been up to on this haunted night?

I hope you all enjoy your Halloween night, I'll be sure to listen to all the music that people make to celebrate today.

I always celebrate halloween and this year I'm going out with @fantasy5, @mariahiscool and @kokel3. 😃 I'm dressing up as a witch this year and well, I just thought that dressing up as a witch is good for halloween! XD I go trick or treating, but I've never tricked someone! YET! 😊 Ummmm...I dont think any trick or treaters came to my house. And I didnt do any pranks, yet.

My halloweens were always spent dressed up at my church's "Fall Festival"! 😊 They would have mini-games set up for you to win candy from. They would have pizza/hotdogs and sometimes a church member would bring their horses for pony rides!

I've never gone trick-or-treating, and we live in a rural area so no trick-or-treaters visit our house. The past few years we've all just sat at home and watched horror movies together and eagerly awaited 50% off candy. ^.^

Not the most exciting halloween but I always had fun!

I just heard the doorbell ring. This is the second time in the last 10 years that it has rung on Halloween Night and the first time in 5 years. I am in awe. The two girls who came to my door had some really nice, scary, face paint and I hope they are proud of it.

@jessie1234
That sounds great and I hope you enjoy your night with fantasy, mariahiscool and kokel3!

@raccoon
That sounds like a great time! It's definitely more interesting than my last two Halloweens as I have been studying for exams

I don't dress up but normally there are trick-or-treaters. But as we are after 7pm, I'm starting to think they might be giving it a miss this year.

Which is fine by me as I had 2 teeth out Thursday, so there are more Zooper Doopers for me!!!!!

And for those not knowing what I'm talking about they are water ice blocks in tubes, which considering the sun went down a hour ago and it is still 24 degrees Celsius (75F) outside, they seem to go down well.

Well as a kid I used to go trick - or - treating or something like Knott's Spooky Farm but as of right now, I like going to haunted houses or abandoned museums/apartment buildings/houses, etc with some of my friends 😊

Though I do like parties, meetups, and parades (cause you get to dress up lol) I still to this day prefer that.

And I don't get a lot of tricker - treaters since I live in a small apartment building locked up with a gate.. xD I don't even need to buy decorations to be honest.

As for pranks, I don't think I would want to prank anyone just casually minding their day. I would probably only prank someone who I know won't get mad at me T_T

Almost every year I go to my cousins' house and we all go trick-or-treating together. My school holds a "fright night", I missed it this year because I had to go to a wedding that night >~<.
I don't think I've ever seen trick-or-treaters at my house though... It must be because we are never home on Halloween 😋
I live in a really urban place (New York) and the weather there is so varied, one year on Halloween we had snow, another year, we had a hurricane like a week before Halloween, but the people there are so festive, I love looking at the decorations.
A don't think there's much pranking either... We do have spirit week the week on Halloween (jersey day, twin day etc....) and the place is always insane ❤️
