"If you want your fur ripped off," Spottedpaw purred, her whiskers twitching in amusement. She turned and smiled at Splashkit.
"Hi!" Spottedpaw greeted. "I was just about to show Willowkit some fighting moves. You want to watch?"

Cherrypaw sat down and quickly finished her mouse. She watched Spottedpaw for a moment, then stood up briskly and padded out of camp with her tail raised proudly in the air.

Willowkit glanced at Cherrypaw as she walked out of camp. "Hey Spottedpaw, you were here when I was found. Was anything else found when I was found?" Her leaf green eyes sparked with slight hope.

*Moonkit has a white spot at the end of her tail, like her Mom!*
Suntail yawned in the nursery. She playfully hit Moonkit, who started attacking her tail.
"Mom, can I go find Willowkit?" she asked.
"Sure, have fun!" she purred. Moonkit finally caught her tail, gave it a last playful hit and walked out of the nursery, tail held high.

Spottedpaw's dark blue eyes went blank for a moment. "What do you mean?" She asked Willowkit, tilting her head.
"Oh, wait," Spottedpaw exclaimed after a moment. "You mean when the patrol found you? I wasn't exactly there myself. I only saw the warriors bringing you into camp." Spottedpaw lowered her head apologetically. "Sorry I don't know any else," she said.
The black and white she-cat's eyes then lit up. "Watch this!" She cried excitedly. Spottedpaw sprang onto her side as though slipping under an invisible opponent. She lashed out her claws, then speedily sprang back up on all fours with her hackles raised.
Her fur flattening, Spottedpaw turned proudly to Willowkit and Splashkit. "See?" She said, puffing out her chest. "That's a half-turn belly rake."

Willowkit sniffed the air. "Do you smell that?" She turned to see Moonkit stumble out of the nursery. She turned back to Spottedpaw. "Can I try?" For once her short attention span didn't affect her thinking.

Willowkit froze, some memory flooding her mind. Though to Spottedpaw, Splashkit, and Moonkit she just looked like a frightened deer.

Willowkit didn't reply, but her tail twitched. Then she fell to the ground, clearly unconscious. She mewed something, inaudible to the others.

"Willowkit!" Spottedpaw said, her eyes widening. "Are you okay?" She rushed over to Willowkit and nudged the unconscious kit gently with her muzzle.
"Willowkit?" She said uncertainty, her tail lashing in worry.

Cherrypaw shivered as she entered the cool shade of the trees. She padded slowly across the damp ground, inhaling the scents of the forest. The black she-cat's eyes were dull as if she was lost deeply in thought.

Willowkit suddenly shrieked "Cherrypaw!" at the top of her lungs, as if something happened in her sleep. Her tail started lashing, and her legs twitched, but the small kit remained unconscious.

Splashkit watched Spottedpaw in awe. "So cool," She mewed, her eyes sparkling. She turned her head as Moonkit ran towards them. When Willowkit collapsed, the brown she-kit ran towards the kit.

Spottedpaw backed off from Willowkit when she shrieked. Her ears flattened in alarm. "Cherrypaw?" Spottedpaw said in confusion. "What about her?" She gaped worriedly at Willowkit, and shook her gently with her paw, trying to wake the kit up.

Hearing a small rustling Cherrypaw crouched to the ground with her ears flat. Her eyes alert, she searched for the source and quickly saw a mouse rummaging carelessly under a small bush. Her mouth watering, Cherrypaw creeped forward soundlessly with her muscles tense and ready to spring.

"Wake up!"

Willowkit woke with a gasp. Struggling to her paws, she looked frantically around camp for the entrance. Once found, she pelted to and out of it. If she was right about what she thought she saw in her 'vision', she could prevent at least one unneeded death. "Cherrypaw!" she yelled many times over. She slowed down so she could track her denmate's scent. Though she didn't think about the possibility of Spottedpaw following her.

"Willowkit!" Spottedpaw called in alarm. She pounded out of the camp, shoving past Suntail, and heading straight after the kit. "Where are you going?!" Uneasiness prickled at Spottedpaw's pelt. I hope Cherrypaw is okay. she mused uncertainty to herself as she ran.

"Cherrypaw!" Willowkit called when she spotted the black apprentice. The scent of fox washed over her. She suppressed the urge to run to Cherrypaw, but only for a second. She ran over to Cherrypaw and dropped into a defensive crouch, and the fox crept out of a nearby bush

"Rat dung!" Cherrypaw spat as the mouse skittered away. She turned in suprise when Willowkit suddenly appeared out of nowhere. Cherrypaw hissed, furious for Willowkit making her lose her prey.
"What are you ---" Cherrypaw froze as the scent of fox washed over her.

"Cherrypaw!" Spottedpaw yowled, crashing through the undergrowth desperately. She had caught the strong scent of fox.

"Move it! Move it!" Suntail whispered, slowly taking steps towards the camp, motioning for them to follow her.

The fox crept forward, and Willowkit slashed a claw along it's nose. The fox's claws raked Willowkit's side, but no mark was left! Willowkit jumped and raked her claws down the fox's throat, and blood welled in the wound. Willowkit scored another scratch on it's side before it bit her paw and ran. She looked at her paw, expecting to see the worst, but no blood or puncture was found.
