"Because it was cold, and Wetpelt was having trouble moving the three of us. So she made an effort to make sure she would live, by leaving her near your camp." Icekit meowed. "I would've preferred Wetpelt left me, but I didn't get a say."@firelost

@alyssafight2 Suntail gently dropped the kit in the nursery and guarded the entrance in case the kits tried to come in the the camp.

@alyssafight2 @kristiekitten1 Suntail turned around and smiled at the sight of both kits sound asleep. Then she turned around again, eyes locked on the camp's entrance.

"Oh, okay. Never mind." "Mo-om!" The voice was re- recognized as Icekit. "Hush, Icekit," the soft voice said. "If they won't give Willowkit back, then we don't get her back. Besides, she's been there for a couple moons now. I know how close clan-life is." the cat sighed. "I'd give anything to join another clan..."@firelost

The cat entered the clearing, the stale scents of other cats clinging to her pelt. "Hi, I'm Wetpelt." she meowed, and then sat down. "I used to be in a clan, but then they chased me out, against the leader will, I may add. I fought to stay, but I was too hurt, so I took my kits and ran. I couldn't move all three, so I was forced to leave one. I made sure to find other cats so she would live, but I was too scared to stay myself. I didn't want to be hurt again..." She shifted to reveal a long, mid-healed scratch along her side.@firelost@kristiekitten1

@alyssafight2 Suntail raised and eyebrow at the scratch. "I'm sure our leader wouldn't mind you joining us." she meowed, flicking her tail to the right, revealing sleeping Willowkit and Moonkit.

"Oh, thank you!" Wetpelt leaped to her paws, and turned a small happy circle. "Oh, I'd like you to meet my other two kits, Icekit and Snowkit." She flicked her tail to both kits as she spoke, and her eyes flicked back to Willowkit, warmth in her gaze.@firelost@kristiekitten1

@alyssafight2 Suntail nodded at the other kits and nudged the both kits awake. Moonkit's eyes turned fearful but she relaxed as Suntail whispered something in her ear. She happily hopped over to Wetpelt to introduce herself.

Willowkit looked at her mother, as if searching to make sure she was real. She squealed as a white and gray ball of fur pounced on her while squealing "Willowkit!!!!!!!!!!" When she got up, she recognized the kit as Snowkit, and Icekit came up. "Hey." he meowed calmly.@firelost@kristiekitten1
