Although her build seems somewhat delicate, she is a strong and aggressive she-cat. Her pelt is ash-gray (hence her name) with darker tabby markings. Her eyes are a hue of a deep pale green; 15 Moons; Ashstrike was born as a rogue, and abandoned as one. She never met her parents and was left to fend on her own. Befriending a fox, she grew up living with foxes. However, she had always longed to join a clan. She admired the teamwork and honor the cats all shared. Ashstrike took a large step in her life and bid her farewells to the foxes. The she-cat left to find a clan. Wandering for several moons, she arrived at Windclan.

Crystalthorn stalked into RiverClan clearing, her silver pelt reflecting the sunlight. Her blue pools scanning around the clearing. A sleek black pelt caught her eye. Stalkingshade, she grimaced. Their eyes met. The silver she-cat turned away, slightly growling. She bumped into a thin furred ginger she-cat.

“Oh, hey Thorn,” Runningspirit meowed, “Oh, wait no. Sorry. Crystalthorn.” Crystalthorn rolled her eyes.

“The fact that you’re trying to get onto my nerves is simply…. How should I put this… Adorable? No not that one… Ah yes! Pathetic,” Crystalthorn replied, “Honestly. Out of the four of us, you’re the least likely to come up with something creative. I can’t believe I grew up with a sook like you.” She snarled, leaning down to Runningspirit’s eye level. “You should’ve stayed with the twolegs.”

“You may’ve grown up, but you’re still a rotten mouse,” Runningspirit replied. Crystalthorn laughed.

“Oh do keep humouring me,” Crystalthorn snickered, “I do enjoy our conversations. They always lift my moods.”

Stalkingshade watched Crystalthorn torment Runningspirit. He thought about interrupting, but that would just make things worse. She would just torment the both of them and would take a lot longer to end it. Flashstrike padded over to Stalkingshade.

“We may be in a Clan, but she never changes,” Flashstrike sighed.

“Sadly,” Stalkingshade added. They both laughed.

Hollyberry emerged from her den, deciding to visit her sister and see how the kits were doing. Then she noticed the newest warriors fighting on the other side of the clearing. 'Here we go again.' She thought. Instead of going to the nursery, she padded over to Runningspirit. "Hello!" She mewed, covering up any trace of previous annoyance.

Hollyberry snorted when Runningspirit said the stories would be boring. "I'm a medicine cat, Runningspirit. It's hard to bore me. And yes, the weather has been nice to us. Now, tell me the stories. As a medicine cat, I have the right to know, and will keep it secret if it is asked of me." Her green eye filled with seriousness, while her red eye twinges with small hope and mischief. "If you tell me your story, I'll tell you one of mine." She whispered

Stonetail woke up late that morning, and left the warriors den to visit her daughter. Outside of the nursery, he was greeted by a small ball of gray fur rolling out of the entrance. It bumped into his legs, and it uncurled to reveal Willowkit. "Good morning, Stonetail!" She mewed cheerfully, then stood up, and wriggled her way back into the nursery. 'kits,' he thought. 'They never know how to act.'

Thornpaw finally decided to go to the nursery, wondering if any new mom needed help.
"Any new mom..." the words echoed in her head, the world became a blur as she collapsed on the ground, unconscious.

Hollyberry's head snapped to look at Thornpaw as she collapsed. She raced to the unconscious apprentice. "Someone help me move her to my den!" she shouted to any cat close enough to hear.

Stonetail heard Hollyberry's call for help, and ran over to help her move the apprentice. When they finished moving Thornpaw, he told Hollyberry all about what he had been doing for her training, and then left to visit his other daughter, the one he HAD been planning on visiting.

Thornpaw was somewhere dark and foggy, she looked around, trying to find her pack mates.
"Hello?" she called.
"Thornpaw..." a voice called back, in her head, as a silhouette appeared in front of her.
"Mom?"" she looked at the ghost cat in front of her, who was exactly like her dead mother.
"Thornpaw...Listen, one day you will have a daughter, who will have daughter, she will be our messenger, she must come every full moon to us, so we can give her advice to help her and her pack. It has been a joy to see you, but I must go. Goodbye, Thornpaw." The cat turned around and disappeared into the fog.
"Mom!" Thornpaw cried, waking up in the med. cat den.

"Thornpaw! Calm down! It's okay, you're in the medicine den." Hollyberry soothed. Her green eye blazed with curious concern, while her red eye burned with deviousness, as if her mind was always reeling with ways she could harm and cover it up. She tried to hide this, but as sure as she knew it ran in the family, Hollyberry knew her left eye, the strangely colored one, would always give away her darkest inner thought. 'I guess that's what happens when you come from my family' she thought quickly, then diverted her thoughts back to Thornpaw.

Rainfur climbed out of the warriors den. He mewed a quick hello to Birdsong on the way to the fresh kill pile, and selected a small trout. He noticed just how small the pile was getting, and decided to go hunting after his meal. He quickly scarfed down the trout, and started to pad over to Birdsong to see if she wanted him to take a hunting patrol with him, or if he could join one.

"Something happened with Thornpaw, I'm sure Hollyberry would want her to stay in camp." Stonetail meowed. Rainfur walked up to the two and said e was going hunting. "You can join my patrol." Stonetail meowed to the gray warrior. "Would you like to come along?" Rainfur mewed to Birdsong.

Graystar emerged from her den and noticed a hunting patrol gathering. She walked over and said she would join before going to see her daughter in the medicine den. 'I'll visit Wetpelt later.' She thought.


"I understand why your mother would visit you in a dream," Hollyberry meowed to Thornpaw. "What I don't understand is why she felt the need to visit while you were awake." Hollyberry said, padding over to her herb store to get thyme for Thornpaw.
