So when ever I try to trade the people decline and say its "common and found in the egg cave" Where else am I supposed to find them then???

There are cave commons, which never stop being in the cave. Those aren't worth much/anything because everybody can get them.

There are other eggs that are released only for a month or less, right now being the Ursoto and Vaccin. These eggs are also found in the cave, but only for a period of time, and they never come back. That's what makes them worth more. New ones are released every month.

There are also seasonal eggs you find in the cave like the Kujak, which come back every year for a period of time. They're worth more the farther away you are from the season you get them, but not worth as much as cave monthlies since they come back every year.

Other eggs are released in the Cash Shop for a month or a period of time, as an alternative to the cave. But of course that costs real money. You can also get eggs from the Asteroid or the Oasis if you're lucky, or the Thief Shop if you're both lucky and quite rich!

So, in value:

Thief shop, Asteroid, Oasis, Cash shop pets- Worth the most, worth millions.

Monthlies- price increases after month ends, since you can't get any more.

Seasonal- Worth more the farther away the season is.

Cave Commons- Worth nothing usually, unless immortal.

@lenamilove mind if I ask you 1 question? Is the only way to get CC is by buying it?

@foxes7356 You can get CC through buying it, winning contests, selling creatures, or get it as a gift. Many users are willing to trade 50 CC for 500k EC.

I'm a F2P player and I've gotten some CC through just those myself. It's not impossible without real money, just a bit difficult. 😊

To add to what lenamilove said there are also events where you can gain new critters which are usually worth more unless it is a seasonal event one. Though the seasonal event critters are worth more than seasonal cave critters.
There is a Valentine's event, Halloween, St. Patrick's day, Easter and Christmas events. I think I listed all the events.

Also you can get CC by trading critters. Cave monthlies, commons and cave seasonals don't really go for CC unless they are frozen. Event critters, and cash shop critters go for CC. Cave LEs (limited editions) that are in the cave for a very short time (less than a whole month) can sometimes go for CC.
And some people trade CC for EC. The going conversion is 5oCC = 5oo,oooEC, 1ooCC = 1 Mil EC and so on.

Yeah they said new cave creature on the blog about it which they usually use for new commons x3
Though ya probably thought that cause they went for so much when they just came out me being one of those who did a lot xD I wanted one from the day of release really bad and over offer for one on release x3 And some people are just impatient xD

To get a cave common or to feed creatures and get EC are pretty much the best options as of now, as well as to check the Oasis and Asteroid with your fingers crossed.

I started out evolving and immortalizing critters and selling them for EC and build up the amount of EC to buy CC from another user. You can do the same for cave monthlies.

Also you can feed a lot to gain more EC also.

Also the Christmas event is coming up soon which will give you things you can trade. Some might be only worth EC, some might be able to go for CC.
There also might be a cave LE for Christmas that isn't a cave monthly that might be able to go for CC.

Also I forgot to add that there are some travels that can go for CC which are CC travels and some event travels can go for CC. So when the Christmas event comes up they might give travels worth CC you can trade also c:

Also check the Oasis and Asteroid frequently. They cost nothing to get. The Thief shop costs EC and sometimes the 'egg' isn't real but you don't get all your EC back when that happens.
