Hello to all!

I have finally returned after over a year of absence. I'm so sad because most of the people I knew here quit too ☹️

Could anyone bring me up to date on what has happened?

WELCOME BACK!! 😱

There was some new monthlies released, A few new Thief Shop creatures 😃 (The Reidea, Gamesao, Cactower and Meerna)

We also got some new creatures from the Advent Tree 😊 (The Batteron and Meriton) and I'll give them both to you for free 😊

The login page became nicer ;D and lots of new species were released in the 12 months 😊 I'll give those new monthlies to you for free if you want them 😊

We also have this CDWC (Creature Description Writing Contest) Where you can write a description for a creature ^^ If yours gets chosen, then you'll get the species for free! 😱 http://eggcave.com/cdwc

There was lots of new items 😃, and theres this shop called 'Trinket Travels' where you can buy Trinkets for your creatures 😊 They are travels, as the name implies, but they look like you have added 'Trinkets' to some of your creatures! (Which looks like they're wearing them 😊 ) For Example: http://eggcave.com/blog/comments/791

There are some new common cave species released in the cave, such as the Kangchroma 😊

The thief shop had only just opened when I left. so 4 new creatures from there *going to check them out in a sec* have you ever gotten something from there? or is it more like the mysterious asteroid?

Awe thank you ❤️ I couldn't just take your creatures though! you worked hard for them! It is my own fault for quitting for a year! I have to go look at the new creatures!! /runs off/

trinket travels... so they just renamed the travel shop??? hmm... odd okay. thats cool that they wear them now. does that work with all creatures? or are they creature-specific?😊 what is up with the books? and plushies? and food things?

Yeah it is a lot of stuff that happened 😃

I have gotten some stuff in there, a Sankose and a Meerna so far 😊 😊 If it restocks, then there would be a black egg that says 'Mystery Egg' and the EC to buy it below 😊 I have actually gotten some video evidence if you want to see what happens 😊 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EGeOUyIxjyE It’s not like the mysterious asteroid, which is nice since the mysterious asteroid requires LUCK, and I have none of that xD.

It’s no problem, you can take them 😊 I have lots of them anyway ^^ I’ll set up lots now, and I’ll post them on your wall soon 😃

They didn’t rename the travel shop, but they created a new shop called ‘Trinket Travels’. They are special travels made to be placed on a certain creature (ex. Extra Legs: Akrep Stage 4) They’re basically travels but when placed on the creature, they would look different 😊 (Like additional wings would be added on your creature, which is part of the background of the travel) I’ll send you a few examples 😊

For the books and plushies and the food, they’re to be ‘Fed’, ‘Played’ or ‘Read’ by a creature 😊 There’s this ‘Item Collection’ for creatures, so if they eat or play or read something, it would be added to a creatures Item collection 😊 If you have lots of items in a creature’s item collection, then you’ll get onto the site leaderboards! 😃 (lots of bragging rights, and about 100k EC every month if your creature stays on the leaderboards) xD

huh, weird o_0 have you ever found anything there? how much do the eggs usually cost?

OOh I've been looking around and I've seen some creatures with the trinket travels, they are so cool!!! I'm definitely going to go try them out!
that must be nice 😃 do the items affect the creature in any way though? like do they increase their stats or anything?

Yeah the trinket travels are real cool 😃 For the items, if you feed/read and give them to your creature, they increase stats 😊 If its a virtually unobtainable item, then it would increase from 20 - 30 😱
