Lune caught the can with her ribbons and tossed it onto the floor with a loud CLANG. She kicked the can towards the bin and walked to English.

Caspian and Valerie departed to Special Attack building class without a word. Waiting for them there was a huge, strongly built Flareon with a huge, grizzly beard on his face. His whole body looked terrifying, but his eyes were old and kind.

"You're tardy, fellas." he said in a kind but raspy voice, "I'll let it slide, but just know that there will be consequences next time, all right?" He smiled sweetly and picked up a small clipboard near his desk. It looked tiny in his huge hands.

"You're Valerie Ugo and Caspian Attwater, right?" he said, "It's nice to meet you, boys. I'm Mr. Von Brandt, and I'll show you pups some tips to be the best Special Attackers around." He chuckled heartily, and showed them to their seats. They were right next to eachother again.

Mr. Von Brandt started going over the meanings of IV points (Individual Values, which are the predetermined potential values of Pokémon) and EV points (Effort Values, which tack on extra points to your stats when you participate in battle). He explained the difference of Physical and Special attacks, stat boosts, and items that increase Special Attack. He droned on and on for so long, even Valerie started to get bored, and Caspian was already asleep.
