*~Introduction~*
It has been one year and Ark, and the coves of Arkians everywhere are peaceful...for now. The Cove of Ice is still wary of its neighbors, but with the Fall Festival coming up, happiness is like a disease. Life is good. Young members of the Cove are shaping up to be like prodigies, and even damaged parts of the Cove, and surrounding property have been repaired just for them. The Thieves are just as shifty as ever, and Twillo and Chamomile are always busy with herbs, And the leader of the Cove, KoolKat, is mysteriously always moaning at night, as if dreams were made to taunt him....
Now, it is time for the story to begin. I hope you are ready for this Plot, for things are not always what they seem......

~*~Chapter One~*~

Faulta, Barbarian, and Allice lay in the cool grass, sun beaming down on them. The goldox had been there since noon, all lazily wasting the day away, bored. Barbarian closed his eyes. 'This is nice...' he thought. 'Now if only Faulta and Allice would be quiet!' The two goldox girls had also been TAlKING the day away. Just then, Faulta got up. "Hey, Barbarian! Me and Allice want to do something fun, we're so BORED!" '
Yep, yeah, I am two.' Barbarian thought sarcasticly. 'We've just been lying here all day with and it's all my fault I bet.'
"So we've decided to challenge you to a race. You up for it slowpoke? Me, you race, and Allice the Ref?"

Barbarian stifled an annoyed tone of voice. HE really didn't WANT to race, but Faulta would taunt him all day if he didn't. On the other hand, she'd taunt him if he lost too. "You're on!" Barbarian replied, sliding out his claws into the grass.
Faulta grinned deviously. "Good, let's line up over by that sycamore. We'll race till we get to the edge of the border. Allice, you call Go."
"Right, Faulta." Allice asnwered.
"Now ready, get set, 1-2-"
"Just call it already!"{B}
"Ok, hold on, GO!"
The two goldox siblings raced forward, wind buffeting their fur. Barbarian smiled as he realized he was in the lead, when, just then, Faulta came up next to him, smiled sweetly, and raced ahead. Grin fading, Barbarian propelled himself faster. Behind them, Allice shouted, "WAIT! YOU'VE GONE TOO FAR! COME BACK!"

Barbarian and Faulta couldn't hear Allice. Soon, Barbarian was gaining on Faulta. 'I-m gonna get you Fault-Uh?' Barbarian stopped. All around him was gray...and murky...and BARREN.....

"Faulta, Wait up!"
"Why, had enough?" Faulta said nastily, skidding to a sstop. Then her voice grew sickly sweet again. "Sorry dear, brother. I always told you I was FASTER."
"No, look, it's, we've gone too far!"
"Huh, what do you mean?"
"I mean, look arond! It's-hey, what's that!?"
An eerie shape loomed in the distance, but with the fog it was impossible to tell what it was. Silently, it creeped forward towards the two goldox, their fear causing their fur to rise pointedly. The two were literally frozen with fear. But just then.....
"FAULTA! BARBARIAN, HERE, NOOOOW!!!"
The angry voice of Orochi was heard. The shadow stopped moving, and the two goldox bolted away. They didn't look back once until they were back to where Allice was standing with the infuriated Orochi.
"YOU TWO ARE IN SO MUCH TROUBLE YOU SHOULDN'T HAVE BEEN THERE! AE YOU LISTENING TO ME!?"
Faulta and Barbarian were sitting in front of Orochi, Barbarian was shamefully hanging his head, but Faulta seemed distracted, her gaze looking back into the woods...

Orochi yelled at the three goldox [yes, even Allice, since she was the ref] until they were rescued by Alltona, who told the annoyed Orochi off, ad merely punished the group to the Apprentice's cove, where they had to clean out all their fellow roomies' rooms. By nightfall, every single room was complete [Even Oils's room which was rigged with a large water bomb (that hit Barbarian right in the face)] Soon, all the other apprentices were filing into the Cave, each heading to their rooms. Once they'd all been fed and cleaned up after the day's tasks, [battle training, hunting, playing, relaxing, etc...] they either grabbed a vine pillow and plopped themslves in front of the entrances to their rooms, or hurried off to bed. Sitting in front of the entrances was a popular choice.

"Ugh, I thought I'd NEVER get all that mud off me, Twillo had me in the marshes looking for some wierd herb!"
"So what, Oils, Don't you have a water bomb rigged in your room, it's big enough to wash everyone here! And marshes beats hunting in the hot sun!"
"Hahaha, I got to go hunting fish by the lake, so it was cool for me!"
"Lucky Akemi!"
Just then, a dirty and bruised apprentice bounded in, scowl upon their face. Everyone immediately fell silent.
"Oh hi." muttered Kanzen, eying the silenced group. "Slushie will be back soon." the agitated olimpt padded off to his room, and the silence stayed. Everyone got up, and went back to their rooms for the night...

Faulta and Barbarian hurried off to their conjoined rooms. Barbarian quickly jumped into his bed, but Faulta sat there, staring out the window.
"I wsih we could see what it was..." she murmured softly.
"See what was what?"
"That shadow...I want to go ba-"
"Oh No you don't!" Barbarian shouted, jumping up to interrupt his sister. "We got into enough trouble as it is!"
"Bu-"
"NO! GOOD NIGHT!"

The Creatures of Chapter One:
Faulta:
Female goldox, sister of Barbarian. Loves to annoy her brother. Sly, sneaky.

Barbarian:
Male goldox, brother of Faulta. Hates Faulta's annoying personality. Brave, breaks rules only when it matters most.

Allice:
Female goldox, Allice's best friend. Sceretly likes Barbarian, follows Faulta's plans.

-Oils-:
1st stage colatay. Talay and -Tonio's friend. Mischief Maker.

Akemi:
2nd stage olimpt. Secretly likes Kanzen, stands up for friends.

Kanzen:
2nd stage olimpt, Son of KoolKat and Alltona. Semi-hates his father.

Slushie:
2nd stage brohu, angry for no apparent reason, seemingly hates everything. Kanzen's usual training partner. Vicious fighter.

Alltona:
1st stage olimpt, mate of KoolKat. Very calm and generous.

KoolKat:
2nd stage olimpt, Leader of the Cove. Overworks Kanzen.

Orochi:
Hot-headed adult diablos. Fun to be around when in good mood, bad mood= Run for your life.

*Later that night*
"Hmmm.....argh...... Hey Faulta, brrrrrrr, did you leave the window open? Hey, Faulta? FAULTA!?" Barbarian jumped up out of his bed of moss. He looked into Faulta's conjoined room, and her bed was empty, and the window wide open. Barbarian ran out into the center of the Apprentice den. In the front of the entrance to their room sat Slushie, who had a scowl upon their face, and was snoring loudly. "Oh no, this is bad!" Barbarian whispered to himself. Faulta had gone and broken the rules again, and this time possibly put her life in danger. 'I've got to find her!' he thought wildly, and soon, Barbarian was off the the foggy, gray, and BARREN place....

Barbarian quickly rushed towards the place where they'd spent the day. He had to find Faulta, and find her FAST.

RIDDLE CHALLENGE:
Theres three men. There grandfather left them a house. Only one son could get it though. They were each givin a coin. With that coin they were to buy up to TWO items that would fill a room. The first son bough some bricks. It only filled a corner of the room. The second son bought hay. It only filled half the room. The third brother was smart. With his item(s) he WAS able to fill the room. What item(s) did he buy and what did he fill the room with?

And are you sure it is okay to just select any of those creatures without doing anything in the plot? wouldn't it be better if we solved that riddle in your previous post and then select a creature(s)?

And if you want to know the answer to the riddle, the last son bought a match and a candle; he filled the room with light😊 @Bluegirl80 came up with it^^

But actually, every one of them had the room filled ^^ the first two had the room filled with bricks or hay but also with air 😊 the third one could have had it filled without spending anything ^^

And should we say which creatures we want here then or trough mail?
