I wanna stretch my ears, but I don't even have an ear piercing, so that sucks. "/

Does anyone know how ear piercings feel? Because everyone I know got it when they were babies so they don't remember.

Example of a stretched ear:

I think that size is pretty decent, I wouldn't go any further than that only because I'd want to get a professional career. 😋

(You stretch your ears with Tapers, here's some different sized tapers: http://bit.ly/qcp63I)

@frosty

I'm afraid of needles and stuff alike so I never pierced mine xD

But you should first get a normal piercing and let it heal up good and stretch it really slowly 😊 (like inserting gradually thicker stuff)

@Frosty Well, let me just sum up my time of getting my ears pierced:

When I was 9, I went to a mall, where they had an ear piercing booth. My sister had already gotten her ears pierced, and she was at home, I went back out with my mom so I could get it done. It took me about an hour before I finally sat in the chair, then got up again, panicked, and my mom bought me something to eat. Eventually, I was refusing to get it done, so my mom said, 'we're leaving.' and I wouldn't leave either. xD So I sat in the chair, singing my fingernails into the armrests, as two people pierced my ears, (one lady on each side). It was a sharp pinch, and sore for a while. The earrings were blue flowers. They had special backings so that they wouldn't fall out, and I had to keep them in for 6 months and clean every day. When I was able to take the earrings out, my mom helped me, and it K.I.L.L.E.D. Plus, after that, I spent a few days without putting them back in. So I bought a new pair with little dolphins, and put them back in, and again, it was painful. But I got over it. Now I wear dangling earrings. 😋

Of course, I'm REALLLLLLY sensitive to pain, everyone else I asked said it barely hurt. So.... Yeah. xD Listen to them instead.

@Frosty Don't be worried. xD My post above was ocming from a girl who burst into tears when she found out she had to get a shot the other day. xD And I was screaming when they had to draw blood out of my arm, I was fighting it so bad that they couldn't hold me down and now I need to have it done at a hospital. V_V I doubt my immaturity level when it comes to needles. I'm WAYYY too sensitive for my own good. And since you're a lot older, soooo... Don't worry? xD

@Frosty If you do stretch your ears, but need them pierced first, I can at least gine a few tips. xD

Right after you get them pierced, you need to keep the earrings in for a while and clean them with something (they'll probably give you some ear cleaner when you get it done), it does hurt when you take them out and there's a red bump around the pierce for a while, but eventually that wears out. You need to keep the first pair in for a while, because the piercing is still fresh, and the hole could close up if you take them out. So it might take some time before you can actually stretch your ears, and I'm not sure if it's the same way for that, but 'm just telling you some stuff that I remembered. xD

@Everyone Really? o.e I've never been bit by a fire ant so I wouldn't know. xD

Oh, and I know, I'm gonna wait at least a 2 months before I start start stretching. 😃

And wow, I got stung by a bunch of fire ants in Guatemala. ;D

@frosty dude, the one with the huge stretched ear, his ear lobe is purple!😱
Anyways, ask for freezy spray[childish, but it works, i get it when i need shots and stuff] When i got my eears pierced, for some reason, the freeze spray they use started to make me laugh hysterically[not my absolute terror, nervous laughing i get on rollercoasters, but actual fun laughing! xD] so all you hear outsde the doc's door was,
"HahAHAHAhaahahahahAHHAHAHA! ow, HAHAHAHaHAHHAHAHAHAHAHA! ow. HahahahahahAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!"

It was crazy that i was laughing when needles usually make me dizzy, but yeah, freeze spray keeps away the pain;)

@frosty Don't worry, ear piercings don't hurt. I didn't get a stretched ear, but still... xD With me, I just made a funny face when they did it. With my little sister, she cried, but of course she's little. And since you're an adult, you can live with it. XD It won't hurt too bad.

And don't stretch your ears as much as that guy. 0_o LOL.

@Icicle_9510 I started laughing just reading that. xD I have a big problem with needles. ._. Does freeze spray happen to work when they're taking blood out of your arm? Cuz you need to sit still when they do it. -.-

Deleted • 2 September 2011 at 10:51 AM

@dreamer i still feel a little pinch of the needle with the freeze spray when they do blood work, but trust me, its a lot nicer than nothing at all >.< I've got issues with needles..and blood... when i was like 5 or 4, the doctor and 3 nurses had to pin me down for my shots, blood work, and the cue tip thingy XP but trust me, freeze spray all the way!😃

@Icicle_9510 The other day I went to the doctor's, and my mom came out saying I needed THREE shots. D: So the doctor came out, and I was panicking like crazy, and she asked me what grade I was going to, and I siad, "...Sixth." And she's like, "Oh! I thought you were going into seventh! I think you only need one shot then." *facepalm* Way to scare a kid, doctor. XD So during my whole checkup, I was shaking and crying because I was nervous about the shot and couldn't answer her questions. xD When I went to get the shot, I was a fraid, so she said she'd get someone to strap me down so I ran over and got the shot. 0_0 Then they did blood work on my sister (who's 14 months younger than me but didn't cry at all) and I was like, that's a lot of blood. *.* The lady was pulling my arm into the room and my dad was pushing me form behind, I sat in the chair to have it done and they were all holding me down, I was screaming and pushing so bad that they couldn't hold me down, and they had to leave, so I have to do it at the hospital. 0_0 And during the drama, my sister ran back in with the cup... 0_o And on the whole drive home my dad was screaming at me over my insecurites. *eyeroll* So tomorrow, I gotta apointment at the hospital. *headwall* I'm dead. D': So yes, I HATE needles. Which is why my ears hurt so much during the piercing.

@dreamer YOU DO NOT EVER WANT TO GO TO THE HOSPITAL FOR A SHOT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!😱
I went to the hospital when i broke my wrist riding my scooter. They had to give me this GIANT needle with numbing stuff so they could set my wrist properly! It didn't exactly hurt, but when i see a needle that big it makes me FREAK! XP

@Icicle_9510 I'm not getting a shot there, just the blood drawn. -.- I'm hoping my parents forget, but, we'll see...

Deleted • 2 September 2011 at 11:38 AM

@dreamer i hate the blood drawing part the most 😋 It's like, the needle's in your arm for a little while, a shot's about 20 seconds X3 anyways, hope they forget!
