You can change a pets gender using the Mars and Venus stones in the Cash Shop Park.

easier way for commons is that you ask for a gender change in trade center. You can look through lots and ask people who have the gender you want if they are willing to swap.

Most are willing, though some are collecting a specific gender, or the creature is from a specific date...

Just ask 2 or 3 users and I'm sure you'd find one to swap with you.
