How do you highlight peoples names so you can click them?

Hi I am qerrat/Claire and I wanted to know How you make yourself able to highlight names so people can click them.

Just type their username, and put a "@" in front!
Like this: @kas
It also pings them on the forums.

When on the forums you can also click the little bell that appears under a user's post count and it will automatically do it for you.
