Any way to skip "Getting Started"?

So I just made this account as a side account for my main, which is @firegirl and the getting started banner is there and slightly annoying, but I can't actually complete it since it wants me to adopt ten cave creatures, which I can't do since it's a side account. Any way to skip it?

@firegirl_side There are two ways to get rid of the banner. The first is to wait a month and it will disappear on its own. The second is to visit the following page: http://eggcave.com/gettingstarted/close
