In Wyvern's Court {Private RP}

As of current Cara has caused a bit of trouble amongst the assembled army and guard of Wyvern's Court. She has been taken into custody and now sits in one of the lower cells.
Freya is standing guard soon to be relieved by Cole. Although not before her sister, Adrianna, has had a chance to come and bother her and Cara.
Cole on the other hand has had to aid Alyss after the Seer was plagued by a vision as she sensed a large group of magic users, or a very concentrated magic source. She is unable to currently tell.
Aerwyna helped Alyss during her initial moment, and now Cole is offering her help with what she needs. Aerwyna is now performing for someone who hired her.
Mula is currently searching for someone she is to be tutoring, and has been aided by Adrianna.
Remino has retreated into the safety of their house eager to escape the powerful sunlight.

{Intro}

Wyvern’s Court, capital to Wyvernhallow, is home to the Queen Diana and her son Jonathan. Wyvern’s Court is home to many more peculiar characters. And despite the Queen’s harsh ban on magic aside from those she has hired to aid in her hunts for magic users, a majority of these characters tend to be of magic descent and bear magical properties.
Of course anyone found visibly performing, practicing, or showing magic is instantly sent to the dungeons and given trial deciding their fate. Be it death via multiple methods or torture.
But as time wears on a group has sprung up, decidedly finished with this harsh rule. And they will set things right, and they will free the magic.

{Rules}

- No Sue’s, God-Modding or Powerplaying
- No instantly killing off or harming someone’s characters, give them a fighting chance and ask before you kill someone’s character
- Keep genders even
- Human’s cannot have powers, no exceptions.
- No one is to be related to the Wyvernhallow Queen or Prince, but of other kingdoms yes
- Keep everything PG, and wait until page 4 to start killing others characters
- Max of three powers per character and weaknesses must balance the powers out
- This RP takes place in medieval times, so no technology, and keep with the clothing styles and weapons of that time period
- If you’ve read the rules put your character's eye color in code
- Keep drama to a minimum, that gets boring to deal with after a while
- Do not have your character be overpowered or showing off their powers, that will get them locked up killed and/or tortured
- Be literate and try and post 3+ sentences per each and every post
- Not everyone is able to bear magic, we need humans in the mix as well
- RP Sample is not needed for every form in a single post, but if you make a form in a new post it is needed again
- If you have read and understood the rules put your character’s favorite animal in code

{It is late morning in early summer. The day is bright, sunny and very warm.}

Cole stood outside the castle room he had been given. His eyes adjusting immediately to the harsh brightness about him. He had his sword in hand, sliding it into his weapons belt as he headed off towards the training grounds.

He was pleasantly shocked that the Prince had called a mandatory testing of strength from all members of defense staff amongst the castle. He made the short journey faster than expected and when he arrived only a few of the other knights were about on the field.

Ella quickly brushed her hair before going to the meeting. She walked across the field to the place where the other knights were. She smiled and brushed her bangs out of her face, and straightened her braid.

She looked around at everyone there, and was shocked because she was the only girl there. She saw Prince Johnathan and locked eyes with him. She smiled and waved slightly.

Freya walked briskly to the field where the Prince had called all members of defense staff. Her hair was in her usual braid. She walked into the field and eyed the group of people. She noted Elanor's presence as the only other girl in the immediate vicinity.

Ella walked around and spotted another girl. She quickly walked over to her and introduced herself. "Hello!" she said. "I'm Ella, what's your name?" she smiled.

Freya arched an eyebrow slightly, but quickly relaxed it. It would most likely count as a signal of emotion... which was a bad thing. "I am Freya, Head Guard. I'm almost certain you're a guard too. The only other one in the immediate vicinity," She said. She straightened the sword on her belt.

{So I'm too lazy to NPC control the royals for eternity, so I've changed the rules, also because it seems silly to be able to control royals from other Kingdoms but not this one. It's a small rule change brought about because NPC controlling characters is a pain. I apologize.}

Cole looked up as more people entered the field. Prince Johnathan among a group of newer knights and guards. The Prince had pulled up his strict face, something the young knight had seen all too often during training.

He walked over to his friend, bowing as he did so. "Greetings Prince Johnathan." he said, smiling as he stood up straight.

Alyss bid a gentle good morning as well as farewell to Alistor as she headed off to the main part of town. News from the Queen had required her to go out and use her "gift" to seek out magic users.

And although Alyss rarely every told her there were quite a few, she would send word for those who constantly caused trouble. She wasn't a cold person, or at least she didn't view herself as a cold person. She was just doing her job enough to not meet the same fate.

And even though the Queen knew only of her being a Seer, she feared that if push came to shove, her true self, Sorceress self and all, would be revealed.

"Yes." she says. "I'm a guard but I also serve as a knight." She glances to her side and sees Prince Johnathan. She motions for him to come over. "Sorry." she says to Freya. "I need to talk to him." Ella smiles.

Johnathan nodded to Cole. Wrapping his arm around his fellow knight he looks over to see Ella flagging him down.

"Well this is bound to be a mite interesting I do say." Johnathan said, grinning at Cole, his stoic demeanor broken for a moment. "Let's go see what the guard wants right now." he said pulling Cole along with him.

Mula packs up for tutoring a child today. She brang her books, pencils, notes, and all the other supplies for her needs of teaching today. Mula walked out the door heading off towards the Lord's house. She smiled calmingly while walking.

She came to the house of the child which she calls, Mr.Ebony. Mula knocks on the door and waits for a reply. The door opens with Mr.Ebony's maid.
"Hello ma'am, I'm here today for a tutoring lesson with Mr. Ebony?" Mula said with courtesy. The women nodded letting her in.

"Your instructor is here young master!" the woman called out. The kid ran down the stairways smiling.

Freya rolled her eyes inside of her. She straightened and resumed surveying the scene. There was Prince Johnathan and Elanor wished to talk to him. She made a mental note to check on a peregrine falcon she'd located that didn't seem to have a mom.

Aerwyna combed her hair and cleared her throat. She started to sing her scales as she got ready to practice her singing and dancing. When she became satisfied with herself she peered through window. There went Alyss the seer. She felt a calm blue radiate off her.

"Hello." Ella says to Johnathan. She pulls him closer and whispers to him. "I saw someone conjuring fireballs to scare people. I think her name is Cara, please tell Queen Diana immediately." Ella smiles at him. "Go ahead on with the meeting.

Cara looked at all the people at the meeting. "Perfect! Just perfect!" she said to herself. She turned invisible and made a fireball. She set it on her head and walked around. People jumped and looked confused as she ran by. She saw prince Johnathan and walked past him smiling.

"There she is!" Ella exclaims, seeing a floating fireball walking around. "It has to be her, she must be invisible!"

Freya noticed a floating fireball race around. Noticing that Elanor seemed to have knowledge of what was up, she walked over to her.

Aerwyna went back to her practice. And began singing. She was practicing a relatively old ballad about a knight who fought a dragon. She spun and twirled as she sang.

Alyss walked briskly through the castle courts, passing through the lower town when the familiar buzzing wracked her skull. She glanced over to see the familiar faint light blue aura surrounding Aerwyna. She smiled at her briefly before she continued upon her way.

Although her travel path veered off as she nearly collapsed as a sharp and overwhelming buzzing attacked her mind.

She struggled to stay standing, hoping not to cause a scene as she stumbled towards the nearest place she could focus properly at.

Johnathan jumped back as fire erupted a short distance away.

Turning to the assembled staff, he directed a small group to go off and start rushing water and sand to the flames.

"Cole, find Alyss. She can find the cause of this, even if that witch is invisible." he ordered.

Ella turns towards Freya. "I think it's someone with powers, named Cara. We need to stop her before she harms someone." She watches the fireball race around and can't help chuckling a little to herself.

Cara creates a few more fireballs and puts them on her head, and holds two in her hands. She moves her hands around to make circles and laughs to herself.

Freya nodded. She began preparing mentally to summon some magic. She placed a hand on the hilt of her sword and started thinking strategically.

Aerwyna danced past the window and saw Alyss seem faint. A faint stressed yellow color bounced off her mind. She opened her door and raced over to see if she was okay. "Are you alright?" She asked Alyss.

Remino walked alongside the road, forcing his eyes to squint at daylight. He enjoyed staying indoors because it wasn't too dark or too bright.
The man walked towards his home just to avoid daylight or blindness. Opening the door, he went in and closed behind him.

Alyss shook her head, the pain of the sudden rush far too much. She leaned heavily against something beside her, although the pain was currently taking a majority of her vision with it.

"There's something bad going on." she said, her voice hideously strained as she tried to fight the wave of black that enveloped her.

Johnathan turned to Ella now, "Go inform the Queen that there will be a prisoner tonight. Tell her to prepare one of the lower cells." he said, as he drew his weapon. He was able to identify the trouble maker's position now as she created fire before them.

"Freya, do what you need to incapacitate her." he said.

"Yes my prince." Ella says rushing towards the castle. She bowed to the guards and walked inside. "My queen, Prince Johnathan told me to inform you that there will be a prisoner tonight. Someone is making fire, scaring everyone. It must be a witch. He asks that you prepare one of the lower cells."

Ella bows to the queen and rushes back to the others. "Now what?" she asks.

Cara sees the prince looking at her and extinguishes the fire all except one. They can't find me! she thinks. If they try and capture me, I will just be invisible and remove the last fire on my head! she twirls around happily and smiles.

Freya dipped her head. Dark/shadow magic would be to costly right now. Too bad that light magic and fire magic go hand in hand... She mentally tugged on a beam of sunlight and sent it coiling around where she assumed this... Cara was. It wrapped around something. She forced more energy into the beam of light to restrain this Cara.

Aerwyna could tell something bad was happening black crept over her image of stressed yellow. She grabbed Alyss to try and stabilize her. She accidentally got streaks of thoughts jolting through her head. Mostly having to do with darkness. She had to let go off her so that she could try to block off the thoughts.

Ella watches happily as Freya captures Cara. "You will pay for this!" she says.

"OY!" Cara says out loud, her invisibility fading. "Let me go! This can't be happening! I was invisible!" she struggles against her bindings.

"Please." she begs. "I'll stop! I was just having fun, scaring people! I haven't done any harm, or hurt anyone have I?"

"Why hello there! It's a pleasure meeting you!" Mula greeted shyly to him. Something of uneasiness swept over her, but she kept quiet.
"Let us go to a quiet room to teach you about today's lesson." The maid of the house showed them a peaceful room. Mula started their lesson. She quietly thought about what the uneasiness was that swept over herself.

Freya felt the girl try and resist the bindings. She responded by firmly holding them in place. And in regards to her "just having fun, scaring people!" comment, it still was a breach of the "No Magic" policy of Queen Diana.

Johnathan looked down at Cara. "Yes, having fun. Using unregistered magic, terrorizing people and nearly burning down someone's home. Sure wounds like you're doing no harm." He growled.

He glanced over at the returning guards, as they finished getting rid of the fires. "Hurry and gather the cuffs reserved for magic users." he said.

Alyss after a moment was able to shake off a chunk of the creeping shadows as another presence entered her spotty vision. Surrounded by a bright and almost obnoxious orange aura, Cole gripped Alyss' other arm.

"Thank you, it means a lot that you're helping out." Cole said, the grin on his face obvious in his tone of voice. Alyss could almost imagine him grinning at Aerwyna as he spoke as he so often did.



Diana nodded at Ella's words. And the second the guard was gone she sent a set down to the lower cells to prepare the fireproof one. She glanced over at the council chamber, knowing she would soon have to hold a trial for this person.

Aerwyna had finally managed to get rid of the chaotic fragments of thoughts from Alyss. She smiled at Cole.

Freya prepared to release Cara's binds to allow the guards to catch Cara. She had to be careful though, because she could easily become invisible and escape.

Johnathan looked up as the guards he sent off arrived with a set of long iron cuffs. He grabbed the cuffs from them, feeling a strange sense of sudden emptiness as he did so.

He turned to Cara, pulling her arms away from her as he held the cuffs with one hand. Unlatching them he snapped them around the girl's wrists. The smooth iron clasping from her wrist to the middle of her forearm. Secured together by two thick chains.

He ran a hand over the markings etched into them, and he grinned. These were cuffs designed to block a magic user's flow of magic. Prevent them from using it while locked up.

"Thank you again for your help. It worries me that Alyss has had to under go such a trauma. But I want to thank you for helping her." Cole said, as he pulled Alyss' arm over his shoulder, supporting her up.

"My name's Cole. And if you need anything be sure to inform me. I'm happy to help anyone who aid's me and mine."

Freya released her grasp on the beam of sunlight. She felt tired now after that use of light magic. She felt wary around those cuffs. Despite the fact she knew she had know reason to worry. She always tried to hide that fact.

Cara tries to use her magic in the cuffs, but can't. She struggles against them and tries to pull out but fails. "Please let me go!" she says.

Freya watched without any remorse as Cara jerked and struggled against her bindings. This girl should have known better than to show off her magic. It was hard not know that magic was forbidden.

Ella turned to Freya and in a whispering voice asked, "What punishment will she get? Death? Torture?" She glanced at Cara with a bit of sympathy on her face, then turned back to Freya. "So?"

Cara sighs and decides to let them take her, but she will try to escape later. I never harmed anyone, i could stop it when I wanted! I need to escape!
