Zanna shrugged as the crisis was averted. She ducked back into her compartment and faced the boy before her. "I never got your name I believe." She said pointedly.

▀▀▀▀Iana shook her head distainfully, then strolled back to the shelter of her compartment. It was idiotic people like that who gave the Slytherin house such bad repetition. Iana wished that others could see it for the powerful house it is, filled with great ambition and potential.
▀▀▀▀The girl frowned, she usually wasn't set off so easily. Had the last few weeks been that stressful?

▀▀▀▀Iana leaned against the compartment wall, her book sitting in her lap. She gazed out the window, watching the scenery rush by. She couldn't help but think about riding brooms, since the scene was quite similar. Iana never had been the most skilled on the broom, and never really had anyone to practice with at home. She definitely enjoyed watching Quidditch, but Iana doubted she would ever join, or even be accepted into the team.

The train soon stopped at Hogsmead Station. The loud squeaking noise of the wheels stopping was easily heard.
Venus looked up and covered her ears a little. The squeaking was a little too unbearable for her. She got up and took Wither and her luggage with her out of the compartment.

Charlie ushered the students she had ended up with out of the compartment and out to the carriages. "It was nice getting to know you. If you need any help with anything, let me know."

She thumbed her nose before sliding into a carriage with her friends.

"Who're those kids?" Her one friend asked.

"Just a few younger students that had a bit of a problem with some seventh years. Don't worry, I sorted it out. Besides...think of the pranking possibilities if we could get into other common rooms!" She shared a conspiratorial smile with them.

▀▀▀▀Jason jerked up in his seat, awoken rather abruptly by the screeching of the train. Wincing, he exited his compartment, along with two second year Hufflepuffs that had let him sit with them.
▀▀▀▀"The first years go in the boats," one explained as they exited the train. She pointed to a big, dark lake where a flock of wooden boats with peeling paint sat on the shore. Jason nodded in thanks as they went their separate ways.

▀▀▀▀Iana forced open the window as the train started to halt. She opened Wilbur's cage, who squawked impatiently and flew out, heading for the Owlery.
▀▀▀▀"You can leave your luggage here," she told the first year (Venus) sharing her apartment. "It'll arrive at your dormitory later."
▀▀▀▀Iana left, following the flood of students as they all left the train. Heading towards the horseless carriages, Iana turned her head as a couple Slytherins in her year called her name.
▀▀▀▀"Iana! How come we didn't see you on the train?" one asked.
▀▀▀▀"I wanted to be alone," she snapped, climbing into the carriage with them.
▀▀▀▀"Touché, I see your temper hasn't changed at all," a girl who's name Iana couldn't remember remarked.
▀▀▀▀Iana just answered with an annoyed hmpt.

Heather stepped of the train happily. She holds Opal on her arm and gives her a treat. "Now, you go to the Owlery and I will see you later." She watches as Opal flies off.

Heather grabs her luggage and drags it towards the castle. "Finally. I'm free from my parents and all the stress!" She smiled happily. She gets her wand out, happy to be able to use it again.

"Lumos!" She says waving her wand. She doesn't want to get in trouble for having it out so she extinguishes it. "Nox." she says, the light disappearing.

"Thank you for telling me miss," Venus turned around to leave the luggage down. She felt nervous, but kept a expressionless face. She got out of the train, clueless on what to do, but she'll pick up on it quickly once she sees what is happening. Looking around for the school, she stared at everything with awe and curiousness.

Zanna stepped off the train as it stopped. She glanced at her the person she shared a compartment with. She grinned, throwing an arm over his shoulder as she pulled him to a carriage. "Come on Sol," she said brightly, "Doubt you'd be able to snag a carriage on your own."

She turned as she spotted a brief flare of light. And looking over she spotted the girl from before.

"Hey," she called sliding away from Sol. "Come on then." She said, walking over to her. "Hello." She greeted. "Do you want to come join us in one of the carriages. There's not much chance of getting an empty one to yourself."

Atticus got off the train and looked around. It had been so long. Chloe followed him as they climbed into a carriage. Chloe looked at Atticus.
"Do you think this year will be any different from the last?" Atticus shrugged.
"Don't know. I hope, I want some excitement!."

▀▀▀▀"First years! First years here!" cried a squeaky voice from the boats. "Two to a boat--- Mister please don't shove."
▀▀▀▀This was one of the strangest creatures he'd even seen yet. It was rather short and humanoid with big bat like ears, and was waving a lantern back and forth like a bell.
▀▀▀▀A couple other students his age were already settling in the boats. Jason continued walking to join them. He could hardy contain the excitement jolting through his body. He was really here! At a school for wizards! Jason pinched himself for maybe the millionth time to convince himself he wasn't dreaming.

▀▀▀▀Iana tapped her foot against the carriage floor impatiently, waiting as the students slowly all arrived out of the train. Two guys sitting across from her were getting in a very heated discussion about Quidditch.
▀▀▀▀"Ugggggh, hurry up," That girl---Annabeth, Iana finally remembered---whined, throwing back her arms dramaticly. "When can we eaaaat??"
▀▀▀▀Iana's stomach growled loudly in agreement.


(BTW for those who don't know, Yvonne the house-elf is a new side character who is the groundskeeper of hogwarts. Her form is in the sign ups, so make sure you RP her personality correctly if you use her.)

Venus went over to where the tiny little being was telling them. She laughed sarcastically to herself about being happy she is here. Hanging her head, she checked the wizards and witches around her.
Too many for her liking, she disliked the company around them. She was thinking of a murderous thought, and looked over it.

@niale {Just want to point out the trip to Hogsmead takes up a majority of the day so they'd arrive early evening, probably 5 or so, according to the wiki page.}

Zanna rolled her eyes as she headed back up the path towards the carriages. She was greeted with the familiar face of the thestrals as she approached, and despite being freaked out the very first time she saw them she was now able to approach them with ease.

Of course no one else she knew could see them as a fair number of students hadn't witnessed death quite yet. She slid up into one of the remaining carriages, pulling her new charge up after her. She glanced back to the girl from earlier, waiting to see if she would join them.

Ophelia stood up silently and got off the train nearly the last one. She looked at the decorated carriages and began to make her way over to them when she was bumped into by someone else. She looked over to see a tall boy with a tabby cat who was looking down at her. She raised an eyebrow at him.

Tyler straightened up and grinned. "Sorry." He said without a bother, continuing on his way again without looking back at Ophelia.

The girl huffed and followed, her cat hissing as it sat on her shoulder at the boy in front. 'God I hope he's not in my house, he's so rude.' She thought, a tick mark appearing on her brow.

Tyler meanwhile, shrugged it off and made a mental note to talk to the girl later.

(( Sorry for coming so late! ;-; ))

Cameron got out of the train, he'd been reading the entire time while at the same time keeping away from other Witches and Wizards. Needless to say he wasn't too fond of other people. A gray cat followed closely at his feet. 'Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them by Newt Scamander' was in his hands as he boarded a carriage. He didn't care to look up to see if he was sitting with anyone.
He looked away from his book to watch his cat, Hero, jump onto the carriage. He quickly went back to reading over the book. He adjusted his back so he was sitting up straighter because his back began to hurt. His blonde hair had covered his blue eyes for a moment before he blew it away from them. Despite his silence, to most people even his aura was strange.

Ophelia entered a carriage with her cat, still in a slightly bad mood. She noticed someone already sitting in it and sat opposite, observing them from the corner of her eye as Tyler climbed in and sat down beside her, at which she gave a low growl and turned to face the other way.

Tyler stroked his cat and looked between the two people accompanying him in the carriage, trying to think of a starter for a conversation. "So," he began cheerfully. "I'm Tyler, what are your names?"

"Ophelia Vine." Ophelia said indifferently, looking over at him and then at the boy with the grey cat opposite her, smiling. "And you are?"

Tyler scowled at the low amount of attention given to him but turned to the boy too with a bit of a forced smile.

Cameron glanced up at them for a moment, silent. "Cameron, charmed I'm sure." He said, looking back at his book. Annoyance graced his face, one of the only expressions he ever wore. He looked at Hero who had stood up and was looking at the other cats. The cat hadn't seen other cats in quite sometime so he was clearly confused. Cameron sighed and closed his book, staring off into the distance away from the others. He ran his slim fingers through his hair wondering when they would arrive.

Ophelia's face fell slightly at the rejection but nonetheless, she kept a smile on her face as she looked at his cat, Mist at her side. She stroked her cat and turned her attention to the boy next to her to try and think of something else to talk about.

Tyler's face twitched into a smirk the minute that Cameron seemed to be uninterested in them and turned his attention back to Ophelia. He caught her looking at him and raised an eyebrow at her, getting a shrug in return. "What house do you think you'll be in?" He asked her.

"Who knows." Ophelia asked as if she wasn't bothered by it but in truth, she was thinking about the same thing and pondering what house she would be put into. "Whichever it is, I hope you aren't in it."

Tyler chuckled. "I guess Gryffindor is the most popular house, isn't it? I don't think any of the others would be bad though, I wouldn't mind which one I get put into." He turned his attention to Cameron, his voice changing only slightly. "So, Cameron, what about you?"

That or my parents will kill me." He said, crossing his hands across his chest and leaning back, the cold look never left his face.

"Yeah, let's hope you get the place in the house." Added Tyler a hint of sarcasm in his voice, the cold look on Cameron's face not improving Tyler's image of him.

Ophelia glanced sideways at Tyler and sent him a glare, turning back to Cameron. "I'm sure he doesn't mean it." She said with a hopeful smile.

Charlie sighed as she climbed out of the carriage. 'Back at Hogwarts at last.' She thought. She loved her parents and her brother, but being muggles, they had no idea how hard it was to enjoy things in the muggle world when, with a flick of her wand, things could be so much more interesting!

The carriage ride had been fine, a little bumpy, but fine and she enjoyed catching up with her friends since she missed out on that during the train ride. Charlie was looking forward to all the pranks that they had outlined in the carriage. Hopefully, some of the younger students she had met with had a funny bone.

Heather looked at the thestrals and signs. "Sadly, I can see them. My baby brother died soon after he was born." she said. Then, Heather turned to Sol. "Nice to meet you, I'm in year 3 and I'm a Gryffindor!"
