Ah, it is not very distinguishable as an ad, since it does not actually advertise any product/service/whatsoever.

Ads like this fill me with immediate suspicion. What are their motives, if they aren't actually advertising anything? I've never heard of Insticator before, I have no idea whether they're good or bad, but these ads are teaching people that it's fine to click seemingly random banner ads- which is a really bad idea.

I was wondering what it was too seeing as ad-block doesn't block it. I think it's better safe than sorry just ignore it. 😉 If you have ad-block, right click it and click the button at the bottom of the list which reads "ad-block plus:block image" after which it will show a box with the element in question already selected then all you have to do is click the button at the bottom of the box which says "Add filter" at which time it should disappear. 😊
