Why are Mo's so expensive?

I thought they were cave commons but every time I see them for sale people are wanting 100k+ for them. Any reason why? o.O

@bingo Those people want overtrades. They are worth 25-40K EC, not a hundred.

@lailaluckyseal87 25k is still a lot for a common, usually you can't give commons away.

@bingo mo's, along with terrons (who only appear at a certain time), are rarer than normal cave creatures.

@positivevibes Oh really?? I feel like I find one every few days, I didn't notice they were any rarer than the others. Thank you for that, I suppose I should be grabbing them from now on. xD

@bingo haha yeah, the last time i came across a mo was actually in 2015. haven't seen one in the cave since. xD

Mo aren't "commons", nor do they have a set time to appear.
They have a low percentage rate of appearance in the cave.
Some people may come on here everyday for years and not get one. It took me 4 years to get one in the cave. Then again when I first started it was even harder to get one.

That's why the 100k EC is warranted.

To help put it in better perspective I found a Star Mo, it went for 200k in auction.


It just depends on the buyer that comes across it and seller.

I remember when Mos were one of the rarer creatures on EC (back when we barely had 100 creatures total). I wanted one so bad and was over the moon when I finally got one from the cave. Still have her (Myth). Now, though, with more creatures on the market, they aren't quite as sought after as they once were. They are still pretty popular, though, and are a nice find.
