"ACK!" Lars whimpered. He was running from the Typhlosion at this point, and the acidic rain stung on his skin. "W-wait up!" He dove into the tent and zipped up the flap, then retreated into the corner of it and began licking his wounds. The Typhlosion's breath was hot against the wall of the tent--it was clear it wasn't going away anytime soon, even with the rain.

"What do we do!?" Lars asked frantically.

Alissa bound over to Lars and jumped on the typhlosions back. She send fireballs at it and was biting it with her teeth and clawing it. "Leave my friends alone!" she growled angrily. "Go away!"

The rain fell onto Eran and because of the pain and his feathers falling of and withering, he couldn't fly anymore. Rendering him useless in a aerial fight.
"Why aren't we giving it back if the necklace was its in the first place?" Eran asked them in a pain wincing voice. "Don't you think it's rude to not give someone back its belongings and keep it for yourself?"

Jigsaw ran under a table to be sheltered from the rain. It burned against her skin and wool. She wondered how could have this happened. This could ruin the camps location and reputation because of this.

"How do we know it's his?" Alissa says. "He might be trying to use it to hurt us even more!" She jumps away from the typhlosion. She growls at it, but is shaking a little.

The Typhlosion hissed menacingly. Its voice seemed to be in harmony with the downpour of acid rain. The forest fire had somewhat dissipated from the rain, but fires still persisted around the area. The air was hot and moist, and smelled heavily of smoke, like steam had been blasted into everyone's faces.

Lars staggered to his feet, shaking uncontrollably. The rain was starting to eat holes in the roof of the tent, and was dripping on everyone in it. Thoughts raced through his head as he tried to devise a plan of how to rid the camp of the Typhlosion...

That's it! He thought to himself, Maybe the necklace doesn't belong to the Typhlosion... Maybe it was hired to retrieve it for someone else!

"Guys! I figured it o--" Lars tried to say, but was interrupted by the Typhlosion's claws slicing through the tent's soggy wall and hitting him square in the face. Blood trickled from the wound, and Lars collapsed on the ground. He couldn't even try to get away from the acid rain; instead it poured down on him from above and burned on his skin.

The Typhlosion turned to face Alissa, its eyes glowing from the reflection of the surrounding fire.

Eran hopped over to grab Lars somewhere with more shelter like under a bunch of trees to cover them from the rain.
"What were you about to say?" he asked. The acid is now on this skin since they already burned some of his feathers off. It was probably going to take a few weeks to grow them back though.

"Ugh.. Watch the fur," Lars whined. He wasn't too badly hurt, actually, just being a big baby. He opened his golden eyes and looked at Eran, a confused look plastered on his face. Suddenly, he seemed to remember what he was going to say.

"I figured something out. Maybe the Typhlosion wasn't the original owner of Alissa's necklace... It might've been hired to retrieve it by someone else. It seems like it's being controlled; it hasn't spoken a word to any of us, and its eyes look vacant somehow," He said, trying to organize his theory. "Maybe it belonged to a Fire-Psychic type Pokémon, or maybe a Fire-Ghost Pokémon... But the only thing that's coming to mind is Victini or Delphox, and neither of them are capable of mind control, I think."

"thanks!" Blade replied to Sherbet. The key looked like it had been filled with Sprite, and it was a cool color. Blade picked up the key, gripping it firmly in his hand.

Chase was awake in a flash when the tent ripped open and the acid rain singed his fur. He was almost panicking in his head. should he help Alissa fight off this Typhlosion, or should he run under Blade's acid-rain-proof umbrella? He decided to wait and see if Alissa needed assistance. He dashed over to Blade. Chase's fur was a mess. "Could you guys help me take off this mask? please?"

Blade held the Sprite-colored-magical-key in one of his vines, and the umbrella in the other. he helped Chase take off his mask. compared to the air in the broken masks, this outside air almost seemed fresh.

The Typhlosion's mind seemed to clash at Lars' statement, but it quickly returned to its state of muddled rage. Unable to speak, it slashed at Eran and Lars, knocking them both to the ground in a fit of anger, as if whoever, or whatever, was supposedly controlling it was furious that he had found out the truth.

Lars launched a small fireball at the Typhlosion, but it didn't do much, as the rain pretty much dispersed it before it could hit the target. It growled from deep in its throat, like it had swallowed a chainsaw, and charged up a colossal fireball, exponentially larger than Lars' embers.

Lars ducked under it and used Scratch, raking his hardened claws against its back. Taken by surprise, the Typhlosion launched the fireball at random. It landed on a small patch of grass dangerously close to Eran, incinerating the surroundings and leaving a smoldering crater in its wake.

Eran tumbled backwards and made a hushing wind on his neck. He ran over towards the Typhlosion and bit it on the foot and released it trying to avoid a blow.
"What about a Darmanitan? I only recall it in a zen mode though once where it was partially psychic." He suggested.

Jigsaw sent a zap on lightning at the Typhlosion still hiding under the table.

Chase ran away from the safety of Blade's umbrella. He ran up to the typhlosion, headbutting it on the side of it's stomach. Chase didn't hurt his own head very much because he was a rock type. Diamond shaped rocks flew from the rocks on Chase's neck like missiles. But not all of them landed on the typhlosion. He hoped none of them landed on his friends. He leaped on the top part of the typhlosion's back, careful around the fire around it's neck and bit it's neck as hard as he could, not letting go.

Alissa felt angered at the typhlosion. She jumped at it to bite it but was thrown back against a tree. She whimpered in pain unable to move, then she blacked out.

(PLOT TWIST TIME!)

Lars tried to use a Dark-Type move in order to attack whatever was controlling it; chances are, the Pokémon that was controlling it was a Ghost or Psychic type, and Dark-type moves were effective on both. The only one he knew was Sucker Punch, so he attempted to use that.

The Typhlosion was readying another Fire-type move, so the attack was going to take it by surprise. Lars leapt up in the air and socked it in the face with his paw, knocking one or two teeth out and leaving a nasty bruise. The Typhlosion clenched its head in pain, as if it had a splitting headache.

Suddenly, a Chandelure materialized out of its head, leaving the Typhlosion completely unaware of where it was. Out of instinct, it tried to swipe at its Chandelure puppeteer, but it phased out of the way and trapped it in a spectral prison. The Chandelure turned to Alissa and started to pry away at her dreams to weaken her and rob her of the pendant.

"W-whaat!?" Lars sputtered, his xanthous eyes going wide. "It was being controlled by a Chandelure!?"

Chase stopped biting the typhlosion's neck and jumped off. Chase noticed a Chandulure float out of the typhlosion's head. it had floated over and was trying to take the pendant away from Alissa. Chase bounded over and knocked it aside, but the chandelure got up and used Psychic, shooting a purple beam of light at Chase, lifting him into the air. he had rarely experienced the move Psychic, but he knew that it would probably throw him at a tree or something. The rain stopped, and the air quality was better. The chandelure did, in fact, throw him at a tree with full force, knocking the air out of him. He was sure he had broken ribs now. despite the throbbing pain in the back of his rib cage, he charged forwards, leaped, and bit the chandelure, barely. But after that, he passed out because he wasn't breathing.

So many plot twists.

Eran jumped at the Chandelure and bit on it. He was hanging by its arms? After he did he fell off and decided to use Tailwind, increasing everyone's speed for a short period of time. A whirlwind was created to help them increase their speed once he used Tailwind. He was soon hit by the Chandelure because he was flightless and he wasn't used to using his legs much.

Alissa woke up pain shooting through her entire body. She saw Chase not breathing and crawled over to him. "Chase" she whimpered and started giving him CPR to save him. "Please Chase.." She looked over at the typhlosion. "Take my necklace." She said crying and ripping it off. "I think you killed my boyfriend! I don't care about a stupid necklace, he's not ok and it's my fault!!

Blade stood still for a moment and dropped the umbrella. first of all, Chase might be dead, and second, Alissa was his girlfriend? DANG.

Chase started breathing again. barely, but he was breathing. still not awake though.

Alissa begins to cry. "Chase please!" she begs him and sees he starts to breathe. She picks him up and carries him away from the fire and everything else. "Chase.. please.." she begs and shakes him slightly. She gives him more CPR trying to help him breathe more.

Chase briefly opened his eyes, then lost consciousness. his breathing level was the same.

Blade knew Alissa could save Chase. He turned to Sherbet. "uh, where's bubbles?" blade asked her.

Alissa glanced at Chase nervously. "Please Chase! Don't!" she said and then took a deep breathe. She shook chase slightly. "Chase.. w-wake up.." she said, her own injuries beginning to overwhelm her. She fell next to chase.

Lars' head turned to Chase; it seemed that he was badly injured. He bounded over to him and turned over his face with his paw.

"Ack! Are you all right!?" Lars sputtered, trying to get his attention. "Wake up!"

The Chandelure made a strange sound and launched a ball of blue fire at Alissa, Lars and Chase, but the Typhlosion broke free from its bindings and shielded them from the attack! It made a bone-chilling roar that made the Chandelure flinch before leaping up and crunching its teeth on its glassy body. Its body cracked and blue flames poured out, desperately trying to recapture the Typhlosion before dissipating. The Typhlosion shook them off with ease and slammed the husk of a chandelier on the ground. It shattered instantly.

"That's what you get for messing with a Typhlosion," It said, in a deep, feminine voice. She turned her head to the frightened campers and gave a terribly guilty look. "I'm so sorry about that. I had no control over what I was doing; that wretched specter took me as a host to try and retrieve its cursed pendant. Now that it's gone, though, it's no longer cursed. You may keep it."

Alissa woke up and grabbed for Chase's paw. "Chase.. Please.. don't die.. please.." she said painfully, trying to ignore her injuries to help him. She sat up weakly and tried to help wake him up, but she collapsed on top of him. She heard the Typhlosion talking, but only faintly because she fainted as the Typhlosion finished talking.

Blade glanced at the battle. one part of the scene made him feel extremely awkward. he quickly walked over and moved Alissa with his vines so she was laying on the ground. then he walked back over to sherbet.

the sun started to rise, and the stars started disappearing. most of the pokemon in the camp were sleeping normally, just fine. by now, the air was safe to breath.

Eran was saddened since he couldn't fly anymore for probably a couple weeks, he went to find the Pokemon Center so they could bandage his neck and wings or at least wrap it.

Jigsaw went to the electric tents, but most of them were dissolved by the acid, including hers. The wool of hers was also matted, uneven, weird, and you could see her skin.

Alissa woke up pain shooting through her body. She shook Chase. "Please.. wake up... she said weakly. She looked around for anyone."Help..." she called out, hopefully loud enough to get someone to help them. "Please.. Help.."

Alissa shifted her weight, but that was a mistake because it sent pain rocketing through her body, so bad that she couldn't take it so red overtook her vision and she fell again on top of Chase. This time, she didn't move.

Alissa had a nightmare whilst she was unconscious. She dreamt Chase was being chased by a creepy duskull. He told Alissa to run, and that many bad things would target her at camp. Then, chase was killed by the Duskull leaving Alissa there crying.

Alissa was screaming horribly in reality even though it was just a dream. She kept screaming really loud and shrill and then she was silent except tears ran down her fur and she was shaking. Alissa's breathing slowed and then suddenly she was silent, no shaking screaming or crying.
