Sherbet quickly grabbed Alissa with her ribbons.
"I've got you! Hold on tight and I'll try to pull you up!"
She attempted to pull Alissa up.
Just then, Bubbles came swimming furiously. He looked at Alissa and grabbed Sherbet's ribbons to help her.
"What do you think you're doing?? You're a fire type!"

"I.." Alissa says not knowing what to say. A current under the water grabs her and she gets pulled under again. She hits rocks and can't get to the top of the water. She manages to hold her breathe for a minute or so until the current ends and she can go up. She gasps for air and looks around. The stream is still pulling her, even harder then before, but the rocks are gone.

Hurriedly releasing her ribbons, Sherbet chanted a magic spell to help Alissa as soon as possible.
"Rilu Rilu Fairilu! Flow Flower! Save Alissa from the currents!"
A giant bubble enveloped Alissa and carried her back up to land. Sherbet and Bubbles hopped out from the river.
"Are you alright?"

Alissa sat up shocked. "I..Yeah.. Sorry for worrying you." she said shaking the water out of her fur. "I know I'm a fire type.. But i like water. Is that a bad thing? she asks.

Chase was frantically swimming towards her. That's when he noticed that Sherbet saved her. He felt bad that he didn't save her, but at least she was safe. He managed to pull himself onto shore. "I guess it's not a BAD thing, but a fire type like you could easily drown in strong currents. Someone like Blade probably wouldn't have as much trouble because he's a grass type."

"When's the instructor going to be here? I hope the leafeon is okay.. if not well..." she trailed off not wanting to say what was going to happen to her and Chase.

suddenly, blade comes walking over. "guys, the instructor got a call. about the leafeon, well......" blade said.

Chase held his breath.

"......she's alright!" blade said with more enthusiasm in his voice. "she has to stay at the hospital for a few weeks to recover."

"That's great! well, the first part." chase said. his ears were no longer flopping, and his tail was wagging.

".......why am i not surprised?" chase said. the sun was almost below the horizon, and stars started appearing in the sky. the stars reflected on everyone's eyes.

(Yikes, I missed a lot while I was out running errands... Oh well.)

After trying to worm his way out of trouble with the instructor, Lars ran off to where his bag was. Luckily, it was still there. He clenched it between his teeth and ran off to the direction he thought he saw the others sun off to.

"I don't have anything better to do, so why not follow them?" He said to himself, running towards a river. He saw the silhouettes of the other Pokémon and slowed to a walk, not too eager to approach them after what happened earlier. He felt a little safer about it, since he could see in the dark (most Littens can) and the others probably couldn't.

chase stood there, examining the stars. he didn't feel tired yet. he thought about something. Alissa seems to be really good friends with me. Does she like me? it felt kind of awkward to think about.

Sherbet suddenly gave Chase a friendly slap with her ribbons. She stood up with a mischievous grin on her face.
"Hahaha!! I'll race you to the tents! The loser buys the winner a drink!"
She began running towards the tent areas as fast as she could.

"I'm sure ill beat you there!" chase said, dashing after her, completely forgetting about his previous thought. He started to catch up to her.

Sherbet looked at Chase over her shoulder.
"Ha! I got a headstart! You better be careful not to pee your pants while facing the humiliation of losing!!"
She continued running around crazily in squares, circles, triangles and zigzags.

"Can I use magic so I can win this???", she shouted, while large rainbow butterfly wings appeared on her back.
"Rilu Rilu Fairilu! Flow Flower! Win the race!!"
She began hopping and jumping, while the wings made the wind push against her, giving her a boost.

While passing over the water tent, she found Bubbles and grabbed his paw. He yelped in shock.
"Oi!! What're you doing?!"
Sherbet grinned.
"Sorry, Bubbles! I'll be borrowing you for a short while!"

The Rock type tent was closer than the fairy type tent. He got there, panting (he pants more than normal Pokemon because he has breathing problems.)

Dropping Bubbles, she landed near the Rock type tent.
"Well, since your tent was nearer than mine, I can't say you cheated, so here's your orange juice.", she said, handing Chase a cold can of freshly-squeezed juice.

Her rainbow wings were still on her back, so she took into the sky and briskly flew over to her tent. She walked in as the wings finally disappeared. She lay down in her sleeping bag, thinking about the events of the day.

Chase went into his tent and quietly crawled into his sleeping bag. He remembered making lots of new friends as soon as he arrived in camp. He remembered seriously hurting that young leafeon. It wasn't something he wanted to remember. He remembered trying to comfort Alissa. He remembered jumping into the river to try and save her. He remembered looking at the stars in the sky. He curled up in a ball and drifted off to sleep.

Jigsaw went back to her tent and admitted it was an interseting day. She fell asleep quietly and in a deep thought about how much she would have longer to live.

Eran perched on a tree quietly and watched over the whole place, he'll get sleep later in the night, but for now he wanted to see if anything will happen right now.

Sherbet thought of all her friends at Summer Camp. She wondered what they were doing. She sleepily used her ribbons to grab her cell phone before looking through her texts with Einhart and Reverence. Soon she drifted off to sleep, recalling all the fun memories she had with everyone.

Alissa smiled and ran back to her tent, She sat down and Looked around. Thank goodness she's alright! she thought. Now me and Chase can hang out without any worries, about chase... It seems like he likes me a lot! And Alissa fell asleep, a smile on her face.

Chase started to have a dream.

He and Alissa were running around, chasing each other. It was mid day. They trotted around, looking for cool gems that someone might happen to drop. They found a glistening pond in a beautiful spot of the forest. They chased a rattata for a few minutes. They told each other jokes. They tried to spot strange shapes in the clouds. They raced each other up a hill, then rolled down it. They walked around more. Just as Alissa was laughing at a joke that Chase made up, they heard a very low pitched growl. They both uneasily turned around. "uh....Chase.... Please tell me that was you growling...... " Alissa said, paranoid. Chase turned to see a tyrantrum facing them. "run!" he exclaimed to Alissa. They both ran, and the tyrantrum followed. They ran through the seemingly endless pasture. They ran through caves. They tried to do everything to get away from the tyrantrum. They got to more plains after a while and chase stopped short, panting like he had just ran a marathon. "Chase....?" Alissa asked. She had stopped running as well. Chase fell to the ground, still panting. "Chase!" he closed his eyes for a minute, then opened them. "Alissa! *gasp gasp gasp* Go on..... *gasp gasp gasp* without me." "no, chase!!!" she said, trotting over to him and putting her paw on his back softly. The tyrantrum caught up. Alissa glared at it and bit it's leg. The tyrantrum swat her off, sending her flying. Chase was still panting and refused to look back. He tried to get up but he couldn't. The tyrantrum bit his neck really hard.

end of the dream

Chase woke up, almost waking up the other rock types in his tent.

He was having breathing problems in real life. He looked at his watch. It was 4:27 am. The fur on his neck that was ripped off in that fight was growing back. There was no point in trying to go back to sleep. He walked outside and stretched. The stars still shined above, but not as many. Chase hadn't eaten in over a day. He decided to go look for berries. His dream played in his head again. wait, I've only known her for a day and I already had a dream with her in it?

Alissa had a nightmare about the leafeon and the fight, this time the leafeon won and killed Chase instead. She awoke with a start and saw Chase outside. She walked out of her tent and saw him. "Hi Chase." she whispered softly to not wake anyone up.
