Newbie questions... "don't feed" and clicks/views

Hey all... newbie here, and I'm a little confused...

1. Can someone please explain the reasons why someone would not want to have their creatures fed?

2. Clicks/views... what is the difference?

1) Some people want to freeze creatures in a particular stage but need to save up Cave Cash to in order to buy a freeze potion. In these cases people will ask to no have these creatures fed to try and keep them from evolving past the stage they want.

2) Any time someone sees an image of your creature it gains a view. To get a click someone has to actually click on your creature and visit its page. So, for example, if someone visits your cove all your creatures will get a view but they won't get any clicks until someone actually clicks on them.
