Welcomes to the Flames RP Discussion and Sign-Ups thread.

Flames is an fantasy roleplay set in an Italian-inspired world.

Rules:
1. All of Egg Cave's rules apply here- you should know what is and isn't allowed
2. No god-modding, no Mary or Gary Sues, blah blah blah, etc.- if you've ever RPed before you should understand all these basic rules as well
3. Not everyone can be powerful elven wizards or sassy 15 year-old girls. Please have some variety in character's race, abilities, and personality.
4. Please put a smiley face in the "other" section of your character forms if you've read and agree to every rule stated.
5. Please read the "About Pereci" section below for more information about the races, Iordi, 12 kingdoms, and other information relevant to this RP. You don't have to read everything, but at least try to read some of it. Especially read about the races and your character's race in particular.
6. No more than 2 characters per person, and once 8 people join the RP, I will close submissions UNLESS someone isn't being active in the roleplay. In that case, I will kick them out and open up a new spot for someone else.
7. Honestly, if you're not going to contribute to the RP, don't bother joining. And please try to write decently at least.

About Pereci:

Pereci is a Peninsula connected to a larger, unexplored body of land to the north. On the northern border of Pereci lies the Sumeriano mountains, and the Fields of Cenermo are just north of them. I will possibly make a map of the continent if this RP gets enough interest.

The 12 Heroes and Kingdoms:
Pereci is made up of 12 kingdoms that currently don't have names, locations, or anything else practically. XD I also don't have the names or anything like that for the 12 heroes. I will work on this as the RP progresses so as to further flesh out the world.

The Iordi:
The Iordi are basically the gods of Pereci. After their departure, the races of Men (and Orc) quit worshiping them as such. However, they are still widely worshiped by all races of elves. Dwarves (and Goblins) may also worship them, but are slowly loosing their faith like Men. The Iordi were created by the one true god Il-Arone, who was born of the void. The Iordi, however, were the ones who created the world and ruled it during the kingdom of Molise. There are 20 Iordi. The Races:
There are 6 main races in the world of Pereci. However races can often be further broken down. The six main races are Men, Elves, Dwarves, Orcs, Dunerini (Dark elves), and Goblins.You can play as any of the races listed below.
Men: The race of Men can be split down into the kingdoms of Men, but all in all, the race of Men is pretty homogenous. They have an average stature, and are known for their greed for power. They are also good warriors and strategists. They have stopped worshiping the Iordi.
Elves: The Elves are known for their long lives, wisdom, pointed ears, and skilled magic and crafting abilities. Elves, however, separate themselves into two main groups: the Alterini (high elves) and Boscerini (wood elves). High elves are especially good at magic and enchantment. They are tall, fair-skinned and haired, and lean beings. Wood elves, who are more talented at crafting, alchemy, and herbalism, are shorter than high elves (though still taller than Men), and have darker skin, darker hair, and more muscular bodies than high elves. The Boscerini are called wood elves because they live in thick forests up in the trees. All elves still worship the Iordi.
Dwarves: There is only one kind of dwarf. Dwarves are short and stout. They usually have dark hair but pale skin. Dwarves are known for their greed for wealth. Their main industries are mining, smelting, blacksmithing, and enchanting. As such, they usually build large and extensive homes in or near mountains. Not all dwarves have beards! Dwarves still worship the Iordi, but not as reverently as Elves.
Orcs: Orcs are the corrupted race of Men. Orcs are actually near elven in height, but are typically very muscular like men, and have incredible fighting capabilities. They are very intelligent and cunning. Orcs have little to no hair on their head, and none on their face or bodies. Orcs have skin that ranges from paper white to an olive green color. Orcs, like men, have stopped worshiping the Iordi.
Dark Elves: Calling themselves Dunerini, dark elves are the elves corrupted by Aldroche's power. Dark elves are around the same height as high elves. They have silver or white hair. A dark elf's skin is an ashy lavender color. Dark elves are more muscular than most other elves, and are exceptionally cunning and nimble. They worship the Iordi as do normal elves. The Dunerini are skilled magicians as well.
Goblins: Goblins are the corrupted dwarves. They are short like dwarves, but very thin. They have bony bodies and skin anywhere from green to brown. Goblins have a mistrust and fear of magic, and thus, there are very few goblin wizards. Goblins often live in mines like dwarves, only coming above ground to hunt. Goblins use crude tools and are often considered the dumbest race.

I'm super interested in your rp, but it's very late, so I'd like to post a form tomorrow at some point. Not sure if you'd save a spot or anything, if this gets a lot of interest.

I'll try to post my character forms soon and you can post yours whenever you have time.

But also, if there's anyone you know that you think would enjoy this RP feel free to ping them. You don't have to but I really liked the concept for the roleplay and have some good ideas for the future but sadly no one has showed interest so if you could help spread it around I'd appreciate it. 😃

@skittlejg I might be interested in joining! It's a great storyline and I'd love to join, but I'm not sure if I'll be on very often. (computer is glitchy again, so I'm using the iPad...) other than that...I will try to fill out a form if that's okay by you! 😸
