Far into the future, technology has sprung up at its finest. Its not exactly how some imagined with flying bubble cars, but its an achievement. It all started with the discovery of one material: Lithlotus. Its a mineral which under certain care can manipulate matter. It can change how things work and act, the possibilities are endless
Only one government runs the entire world, called "The Peacekeepers." They're the ones with the control of the Lithlotus. The Peacekeepers control the entire planet and everyone's life. No one individually gets to choose anything. The Peacekeepers decide what they do, what their job is/will be, who they marry, and pretty much their entire future. The Peacekeepers even control the animals, keeping them in safe facilities while their natural home is turned into someones else's home. There is no famine, no war, and no decisions in this new world.
The Peacekeepers have also created a whole new breed of humans called "Heroes". They look like normal humans (besides for the occasional cat ears) but they have super powers. The government literally one day created each superhero (Superman, Batman, etc.). Why? Because they can. The Heroes are the peacekeepers for The Peacekeepers. They're the police of this world.

The government is collecting healthy individuals (ages 14-20) to experiment with to make new powers and never before seen Heroes. Your character is one of the chosen people, took from their homes for the great honor of being a Superhero. Meanwhile, a group of rebels against the government are stirring up. They plan to capture these new heroes and convince them the goverment is nothing more than tyrants and should be taken down.

Gender: Girl
Age: 16
Appearance: Long wavy beautiful blonde hair, dreamy blue eyes, coral pink lips, while being superhero: long wavy blonde hair with blue streaks, blue eyes, coral pink lips, blue mask, dark blue vest top, denim jeans, leather boots in black.
Personality: A Trickster, mischievous, brave, charming, beautiful, can look innocent when is not, rebellious, follows the peacekeepers rules... Most of the time.
Backstory: She grew up in the city without many friends, with only her mother. She lived in the city in a bunch of flats, until recruited by the peacekeepers to become a superhero.
Power: Siren song (hypnotising, lures anyone who hears it towards her, also can break objects in her path)
Weakness: If a crack appears in her amulet, which happens when she fails to hypnotise a target and the peacekeepers find out.
How active are you?: Kind of active, well pretty much rather activeish

Gender: Female

Age: 18

Appearance: Long silky black hair reaching approximately below her shoulder blades, She has greyish-blue eyes that are almost hypnotizing. She is pale with a bit rosy cheeks. She wears a denim jean jacket with black leggings and a blue t-shirt.In superhero form she wears an aqua blue suit with a dark blue cape and dark blue mask.

Personality: Kind, mischevious, caring, brave when fighting, but she can get scared at times and panic.

Backstory: She lived in an orphanage for most of her life and was recruited by the peacemakers.

Power: She can shapeshift into a wolf and control water.

Weakness: Everytime she shapeshifts she gets a small cut on her ankle and when she controls water it makes her a little tired every time and it hurts. She can't control water if she is within 20 feet of fire. And when she is to nervous and can't concentrate her powers do not work.

Also, getting tired is more of a limitation, could you make her have more of a solid weakness?

But again with the weakness, give her something that significantly weakens or cancels out (all) her powers. Something that people can use (Specifically the Peacekeepers)

Name: Celestia Grace
Gender: Female
Age: 16
Appearance: Long brown carmel soft hair that reaches down to her waist. Pretty sky blue eyes mixed with sea green tinted with nature green. She is fair skinned, pale pink lips. She really light, weighing only 50ish pounds. She had white silvery wings that can wrap around her body. She wears a blue T-shirt and black leggings.
Personality: Caring, rebellious, brave, cool headed, likes to daydream. She is good with the sword and bow though she was never really around one. She is usually calm, not jumpy at all.
Backstory: She was had a perfect life with great friends and good grades until she was picked by the peacemakers.
Power: She has both water powers and nature powers, she can also fly.
Weakness: She can only use one of the powers when one power is stronger then the other but she can still use a bit of that power, like on land she can only use her nature power and a little of her water powers but in the water she can only use her water power and a little of the nature power. She can still fly though, but only for a few hours before getting tired. She can't use her powers when she's near fire, usually around a meter within. When she flies, she can't use any of her powers. She also gets tired using them for a long time, record is 3 hour non stop but she fainted right away. She has to rest for 30 minutes before using them again. Normally she can only use her powers 1 hour non stop.

Name: Cade Davey
Gender: Male
Age: 18
Appearance: Tall with short red hair and warm brown eyes.
Personality: Cade is warm and courteous to everyone, but he only half means it. He doesn't view being "nice" are being nice, being more of a habit. This leads a lot of people thinking they get along well, while he wished they'd just go away. While Cade does like socializing from time to time, he's slightly introverted and likes to keep to himself sometimes to recharge.
Backstory: He had a childhood named Rayna. She's was very rebellious, and voiced her opinions loudly. One day, she vanished. Cade tries not to think about her, but the rest of his life was pretty ordinary and eventless.
Power: Speed
Weakness: He can't run too long or too fast or his legs will literally catch on fire. If he comes in contact with silver, his powers are completely canceled out.
How active are you?: Friggin active.

If she flys, she literally has to have (large) wings, and her body structure has to be very light. (I'm trying to keep SOME scientific explanations)
Also, could you add a weakness that other people can physically use against them.

Appearance: Six foot two, fly away dark blond hair and hazel eyes. He has a dusting of freckles on his face.
Personality: He is relatively calm and organized. He
Backstory: Grew up with his Aunt and Uncle as his parents were always away. Lived a decent life.
Power: Rough Nothingness Manipulation, he is not very developed and so only can manifest two(three?) proper abilities from this.
Weakness: He carries the threat of negating his own existence constantly and thus he sparingly uses his powers. If bound in iron his powers can vanish while the iron is on him.
How active are you?: Semi Active.
Other: The abilities manifested are Nothingness Removal, Teleportation (and Black Hole Creation/Negation iffy on this one)

Appearance: 5'9 with short black hair and dark green eyes. He wear a simple plain shirt and a silver chain around his neck.
Personality: Cold, stoic, aloof, stern
Backstory: Born and raised like any other young adult although he hates the Peacekeepers a little and feels like he is living in jail so he was surprised when he was chosen.
Power: To manipulate all metals and heat.
Weakness: He can't create fires without what is needed for one other than heat. Manipulating heat tires him out much easier than manipulating metals.
How active are you?: I'm active but lazy so I won't be the one posting everyday even if I log in.

It wasn't intentionally suppose to be like The Giver, but I guess the concept is similar. This world is much more futuristic though, and there's no "limit" on emotions. The world is just our world way into the future, with a tyrant government which has an insane amount of power.

Backstory:Unlike most of the depressing story's told she's not one. Her family is a very prideful bunch having all had a war ranking background it's her place to take a spot as well. In most likely sacrificing her self to be a so called hero.

Name: Vanessa "V" Gomez

Gender: Female

Age: 16

Appearance: Dry, olive skin with short cropped black hair that reaches just above her shoulders and a messy fringe. Large hazel eyes with small blue pecks in them. Bold eyebrows and small nose with pale pink thin lips. About 5"9 and has a birthmark on her left shoulder, about the size of a coin.

Personality: Shy, timid and quiet, always the one who stays away from the main group. Basically a typical outcast. Comes off as weak and submissive but emotionally strong. Insecure and is very modest. Prefers mumbling over speaking. She doesn't really fit in with people in general, and prefers just sitting and thinking. Incredibly intelligent and picks up things very quickly.

Backstory: Never had any friends, except the occasional acquaintance so it wasn't hard to leave everything behind- since everything for her was not a lot. Mother died when young and stepfather isn't mean, but isn't exactly supportive. The father left when she was 3. She's an only child.

Power: Telekinesis (in result of her high IQ, she can move things with her mind) and she's just a good problem solver in general (but not like a superpower).

Weakness: It takes her a rough 15 seconds to prepare and concentrate before her power can even activate which makes her vulnerable in a flash battle and the object she is picking up does not move in a very fast speed.

How active are you?: Semi Active but will log in to post frequent enough.

Personality: She's kind, she's strong, she can be a bit of a rule breaker sometimes.
Backstory: She was bullies when she was younger, she's older and tries to help others, she also loves wolves. Her parents moved away because of her discussion of having a power, they said "we don't want a weird kid", so she is ready to help.
Power: she is a hider, you can't hear her when she's hiding.
Weakness: her weakness is pwople going after her animals.
Active: I try to be on everyday so I think I'm pretty active but I just started yesterday.
Other: hope you are ok with me joining, I'm experienced with roleplaying, been doing it for over a year on Instagram.
