Names and imortals

first question: can i name a creature a name that i want differently if someone has the same name? like i want the name dog but somone else named there creture dog.
Ex: -dog- , _dog , Do-g

Second question: how many levels for my creature to become immortal.

1: So long as the combination of characters is not used on another creature you can have that be your creature's name. So you can name a creature "-dog-" so long as its not already taken.

2: Creatures become immortal at level 2000.
