Fishfoot trotted outside the edge of the camp, hopping from rock to rock. Her tail swayed energetically. The small warrior pounced on a unwary pinecone, batting it playfully. Accidentally sending it flying, Fishfoot scurried after it to reclaim her 'prey'. Fishfoot's stomach rumbled. She gazed at the pinecone wistfully, then started to retreat back to camp. *Swanpaw was lying near the freshkill pile, sleepily eating a mouse. Finishing the last bite he stood up, glancing at the camp entrance. He wondered what his mentor had in plan for today. Swanpaw hoped that he'd be allowed to join the hunting patrol. His claws were itching for action. The white apprentice trotted around camp, looking for something to distract himself. @ushafuse @panda9983 @niale @positivevibes @hotylog3 @thebrokenvibe (What season is it?)

@ushafuse@panda9983@niale@queens@hotylog3@thebrokenvibe@leafdapple769The melodies of birds chirping had awoken Ripplepelt. His right ear twitched as he took in the morning chorus. Ripplepelt heaved himself up, letting out a lethargic yawn. The gray tom shook out his fur before stretching out his limbs for a bit. Padding out of the Warriors Den, he took a whiff of the crisp morning air that greeted him. Ripplepelt gazed around the peaceful camp.He noticed Fishfoot padding back from somewhere and Swanpaw pacing around the camp. Ripplepelt's ear twitched as he heard a slurred grumble emerge from his stomach, and he decided he should grab a bite to eat before training his apprentice, Valleypaw. He strode to the fresh-kill pile and took a plump vole between his teeth.

@thebrokenvibe@ushafuse@panda9983@niale@queens@hotylog3@positivevibes It is the end of leaf-bare heading towards new-leaf.A trace of a strong leaf-bare wind penetrated the holly bush. Shadepaw shivered, and tucked her paws underneath her. Passionate birdsong reached her ears, making her flatten her ears. She tried to shut it out, but it was too noisy. Besides, she realized with a start, Wolfwind would not like it if she were late for training. The dead leaves underneath her crackled as she rose to her paws. Wincing, she padded quietly out the den being careful not to wake her fellow apprentices. Shadepaw puffed up her fur as she emerged into the weak sunlight. The distinct chill in the air reminded her leaf-bare still had at least a moon and a half left. Her nose told her Fishfoot, Swanpaw, and Ripplepelt were nearby. She could hear them padding around the clearing. Choosing a quiet spot by the medicine den, Shadepaw sat down and waited for her mentor to appear.

@leafdapple769 @ushafuse@queens@panda9983@niale@positivevibes@hotylog3Wolfwind stood from her spot by the warriors den, watching as Shadepaw headed towards the medicine den. Nodding to herself Wolfwind stood up and walked over to Shadepaw."Are you all ready for training today?" she asked, "I have a good training routine I'd like to start trying out." she added.

@thebrokenvibe @ushafuse@queens@panda9983@niale@positivevibes@hotylog3Shadepaw jumped to her paws at the sound of Wolfwind's voice. "Yes. I'm ready!" Excitement brightened her eyes. What new exercise could her mentor have developed? <^>Autumn lazily watched a leaf that had stubbornly been hanging to a tree for moons, long after its companions had drifted to the ground and crumbled into dust, drift from its perch. It twirled in the air and landed on her nose. She batted it off with her paw, and let out a breezy sigh. She could not wait till leaf-bare was over. It was getting harder and harder to catch prey and keep warm. With the limited resources in her patch of territory and the competition of other rouges, leaf-bare was a tough season.A scrawny sparrow landed on the branch in front of her. Before it could notice her, she slammed a paw down on it. Autumn wasn't hungry but she gulped it down anyway. She could not afford to be picky. Her claws scratching across the bark, she leaped between trees, unknowingly heading towards Clan territory.

@leafdapple769 @ushafuse@queens@panda9983@niale@positivevibesWolfwind grinned as she headed outside the camp. She headed towards the training grounds, alert in case she passed a hunting patrol or if she could spot any rogues along the way.Her thick pelt helped block out a good chunk of the weather that bothered most cats, but even now she could start to feel the chill in the air as well. Twitching her pelt Wolfwind stopped as she reached the training clearing."Alright, first things first. I'm going to need you to show me what moves you already know as a refresher." She said.
leafdapple769 • 12 August 2016 at 6:36 PM
@thebrokenvibe@ushafuse@queens@panda9983@niale@positivevibes"Okay!" Shadepaw touched Wolfwind with her tail to make sure she was a good tail-length away. Standing up on her hind-paws, she lashed out quickly with her right paw going down, and then her left paw going across. She lowered herself to all paws again and darted in and out from an invisible warrior nipping and clawing at the air. "I would carry that move out with another apprentice." she mewed.Shadepaw turned around, again touching Wolfwind to make sure she was still a safe distance away, and putting all her weight on her front paws, kicked backward with both paws. When the demonstration was over, she faced Wolfwind once again. "I have one more, but I need a cat to practice it with. Can you help me?"

-ShatteredIce- The tabby-ed feline padded along the clans clearing. Everything seemed to be working in a nice fashion. Having gotten patrols on there way, and the day organized she shifted gears. Smiling she headed towards the apprentices den. "CloudPaw?" she called out with a warm voice she always had ejoyed the company of the younger cats of the clan. -TangledFur- The old tom had hobbled his way out side of his den. Claiming it was much to stuffy for him. Settling out side he basked in the sun enjoying the warmth it offered. Letting out a rusty purr. "Squirrelfang You around?"

"Hi Ripplepelt," Fishfoot mewed warmly as she approached the fresh-kill pile. She snatched a scrawny looking crow before she could be tempted to pick one of the juicer looking prey. There's kits and elders to feed, she chided her stomach. A cool wind blew, sending shivers down Fishfoot's spine. "Starclan, I can't wait until this leaf-bare is long gone." she said distastefully, looking up at the sky that matched her pelt. The small she-cat nibbled at the crow. *Swanpaw found his own quiet spot at the camp's entrance to wait for his mentor. He watched Wolfwind leave with Shadepaw, wishing he could go with them. @queens @hotylog3 @leafdapple769 @positivevibes @ushafuse"Of course." Wolfwind meowed as she watched her apprentice perform the previous moves. "All you need to tell me is what I have to do." she said, heading to a safer distance in the training clearing.

@queens @hotylog3 @thebrokenvibe @positivevibes @ushafuseShe couldn't move. The air felt hot and sticky around her, and her pelt felt dirty and matted with debris. She feebly moved a paw and felt leaf litter slip beneath her claws. A herb she didn't recognize covered her nose making it difficult to breathe. Cracckk... A dry crack resonated within the cave as Silvermoth stiffly rose to her paws, shaking assorted dried herbs from her pelt. I need to stop doing this... She thought, shaking her head. Silvermoth immediately turned her focus to her pelt. It looked like a rouge's pelt. Without hesitation, she began to aggressively groom her fur. <^>"Great!" Shadepaw's tail went straight up. "Okay, so I want you to walk out of the training area and sneak back in. Pretend to stalk me and try to pin me down."

"I mean, what's even the point of it?" Fishfoot continued, pawing a dead leaf playfully. "It's just cold and icky and nothing likes it. All the prey hides in leaf-bare and we get thin and hungry. Even the water makes a wall to get away from the cold!" Fishfoot stopped when she realized she hadn't let Ripplepelt say a single word the whole conversation. "Oh, was I rambling again? Sorry! I try not to. I just say one word and then - BLEH! Is it bad to talk so much? Um, oh.. sorry!" *"Coralstar," Swanpaw greeted, trying to keep his posture dignified. Coralstar had been Swanpaw's mentor for moons, yet he still felt nervous around the leader. "Are we training today?" @panda9983 @niale @positivevibes @hotylog3 @thebrokenvibe

@ushafuse@panda9983@niale@queens@hotylog3@thebrokenvibe@leafdapple769Ripplepelt gave a terse nod to Fishfoot as a greeting, before resuming to consume the vole. The silver tabby continued to listen intently to the young warrior. He had always noted that Fishfoot, unlike him, was a very extroverted and social cat. Another cool breeze interrupted his thoughts and sent a shiver down Ripplepelt's spine. Leaf-bare was a pain. It brought blankets of snow, scarce prey, lack of herbs, and the dreaded greencough. "I agree," Ripplepelt mewed, "I can't wait until Newleaf."

Cloudpaw heard Shatteredice call him. He walked to where the she cat was. "What will we learn today?" He asked sleepily.~~~Nightwind walked to where Silvermoth was. "Sorry I'm late." He mewed. He walked to where they organize the herbs and started to start organizing.~~~Skydawn walked to the main when she saw where Ravenpaw was. "So we will start off with a warm up fight, you won't get hurt." She said thinking today's lesson. "And we will go hunting after you review everything we learned if we have time." She started to walk to a place that she picked for training. It was on the edge of the borders, flat but most cats can see them. She turned back to look if Ravenpaw was following.@leafdapple769@thebrokenvibe@hotylog3@niale@positivevibs

@thebrokenvibe@hotylog3@niale@positivevibes@panda9983 When her pelt was back to its regular sheen, she whipped around to confront the mess she had made. She turned her head when her apprentice walked in. "You're not late." Silvermoth meowed smoothly. "I just woke up myself."
hotylog3 • 19 August 2016 at 7:58 PM
ShatteredIce- the she-cat purred when greeted by a rather sleepy looking apprentice. "I was thinking some battle training would do you good, what do you say?" she questioned. Giving the training a quick thought she was kind of excited she hadn't been out in a while and this would be the perfect escape. TangledPelt- Lumbering along the camp in search of something nice to eat and maybe a nice napping spot. With a laborus stride he hobbled to the prey heap selecting a mouse. He turned hoping to find some one to talk to. It would seem he was becoming forgotten about these days.

@leafdapple769 @panda9983 @positivevibes @queens @ushafuse @nialeWolfwind nodded at her apprentices words. She crept away from the clearing, looping so she was now downwind of her apprentice, and began stalking back to the clearing. She paused as she got within range to position herself so she could take her apprentice by surprise.
leafdapple769 • 22 August 2016 at 10:38 PM
@panda9983 @positivevibes @queens @ushafuse @niale @thebrokenvibe Shadepaw sniffed the air. She could not smell her mentor anymore, meaning she must have positioned herself so that she was downwind from her. Quickly calculating where her mentor probably was, she tensed, getting ready to execute her move.
