ABANDONED: Egg Cave Creature RP!

Storm flicked her tail sadly. She then felt her ear twitch. She had a feeling someone was watching her- well them. She decided that she'd be able to handle that creature. Something told her that something comforting was considered acceptable.

"Erm... there there?" She tried as a comforting thing. Yep this was not her strong suit.

Storm noted Ari's reaction. Presumably to the noise. Or feeling. Or whatever. Storm was at a reasonably calm mood right now so her storm clouds floating around her faded mostly. All that was left were some reasonably happy white fluffy clouds. Sometimes it seemed that these clouds were a bit too much of a dead give away.

Night woke up when a sunlight streamed into the part of the forest. "What happened?" she asked herself. Then she remembered what happened, she was just trying to help but her owners wouldn't listen. Deciding to listen for some voices in case there is a friend or foe, she cocked her ears until she heard some. She then proceeded to where she heard it, while she was at it, she went to a pond first to clean up in case she was dirty. Then she sprinted towards whatever the voices are, good or bad.

Storm pinned her ears back as she saw a Skruline run towards them. Her storm clouds returned to a dark gray. Storm looked suspiciously at the new comer.

Ari saw a Skruline run toward them. She jumped up, alarmed at first. She wasn't sure if it would attack or not.

What a nice start she thought to herself. Night slowed down a bit because she thought running might mean she's attacking them. She walked the remainder of the way to the small group of creatures.

Storm noted that the Skruline had slowed down. That was good... she thought. Suddenly dozens of images swooped through her head. They were mostly about all the times she had messed up introductions.

Venus spots another figure sprinting towards the group. They look like they're having fun...
The air felt the air around her felt cold and somewhat lonely. Something is telling her to join, but something else tells her to stay.
The next thing she knows she's standing, as if she is unconsciously making her way to the group. Her movements are awkward and slow, mainly caused by her hesitant feelings about this group. It's safer to be alone and independent...isn't it?
Venus froze. Her front paw hovered above the ground in decision of whether to take a step forward or to take a step back. Her paw moved forward.

Storm narrowed her eyes as she regarded the Icenyro who was now also approaching them. A slight rumble emanated from her throat it sounded much like thunder.

Storm wasn't used to creatures running at her. No these fellas were running at them. Sooner or later these creatures would realize how utterly awful she could be. Like her temper.

Venus froze once again, as the unknown Aska took a small notice to her presences. A slight rumble sent a slighter vibration through the ground. Venus took a moment to figure out the source. She could only conclude that the rumbling was reflecting Aska's expression. A distressful emotion.
The ears on Venus's head drooped down in the sympathy she had felt earlier. She's seen this before. Better yet, Venus has experienced this before on a more confined scale.
Should I comfort the Aska...?
Venus hesitantly turned away.

Storm looked at Ari. Was she really that easy to read? "I'm... fine... just fine," Storm said. She rearranged her expression into something more... happy. She hoped. This wasn't her strong point.

"Er... Icenyro over there? Umm... hi?" Storm tried when the Icenyro started to walk away. Wow... she needed to work on her intros.

The rumbling subsided which didn't bother Venus as much as it could have. Her ears picked up when she was called out. It was a little unexpecting for the greet to seem slightly unwilling. Venus was so use to other creatures having some sort of cheesy smile on their face. In addition, they'd greet with much enthusiasm. This Aska's greeting seemed a lot more comforting.

"...S-salutations." Venus responded.

Storm managed a weak smile. To most creatures this would be a bad start but... to her it was going rather well. By this point most creatures would have run for the hills while shrieking names. As in not very nice names. The clouds above her faded slightly.

The Aska displayed a subtle smile along with the hovering storm clouds to dial down. The tension between the strangers lessen, allowing Venus to approach with a more proper introduction.
"Ahem," Venus said to clear the stiffness in her throat. "The name's Venus...and your's?" she asked the unknown Aska.

Age: (uh, mentally, I'll say 13)
Gender: Female
Stage: 2nd stage (Adolescent)

Reason for abandonment: Constantly got into fights with larger winged Ark creatures by unknowingly invading their airspace. Her once wealthy owner had to pay for medical expenses and eventually fines for allowing an "unruly creature" to roam freely and cause trouble. Owner was tired of losing money because of the clueless bird beast (though the owner didn't know the airspace domination theory themselves), so they dumped her.

Personality: Naive, Playful, Nosy, Obnoxious

Other: Has a damaged right wing and can not fly at the moment. Doesn't yet realize the fact that she was abandoned. Usually she regains conciousness back at her owner's house, so she is currently confused as to why she's in the woods.

"My name's Storm," Storm said to both creatures. Storm shook her mane and stood up then sat down to ease her muscles. She flicked her tail a bit. Absentmindedly she sheathed and unsheathed her claws.

Bright rays of light forced open the eyes of an Aig, flipped over onto its back and looking rather bruised. She waited to hear the usual screaming voice of her owner, berating her for yet another incident between the Aig and that gruesome Gryp who just couldn't fathom sharing the skies with someone like the blue-headed creature currently pondering why she saw trees and said skies rather than the pristine white walls she had grown familiar with.

"Am I...dreaming?" She blinked her beady eyes once, and, seeing the trees were still hovering before her and hearing nothing but the wind and the occasional squawk of some beast in the wilderness, she flipped herself over and-

"OWWWWWCH!" The Aig screeched in pain. She peered over at the location of the ache. Her right wing was ruined, feathers splayed in a chaotic ensemble and cluttered with dirt and loose grass. She tried to fan out her wounded blue wing, but it remained limp, grounded.

Whimpering to herself, she perked up at a new thought, temporarily distracting her from the pain. "I know! My owner always gave me a bath afterwards! Maybe there's some water over here that will fix my wing!"

Using her keen bird sight, the Aig quickly spotted the lake and the mishmash group gathered beside it. Her limp wing dragging alongside her, she jogged over to the other creatures.

"Oh! Looks like a really small cove is nearby! Maybe they'll wanna take a bath with me!"

Storm's ear twitted she angled her head and quickly spotted an Aig coming over to them. It's wing dangled limply on by it's side. "Gosh a lot of creatures are coming by," she thought to herself. She didn't really like that. Her swirling storm clouds darkened slightly.

Venus nodded to show acceptance that the Aska was to be called Storm.
Introductions continued, but not directly to Venus. Hopefully she will not have to repeat the greeting process again. Meeting others tend to drain Venus's mental energy and patience.
The Skruline quietly stated her name, Night, to the Neebu. The Neebu responded with the name Ari. The Trisk remained silent and unknown.

Venus's ear twitched to an incoming sound. Her head turned to see an Aig in the near distance, making its way over to the rest of the creatures. It was unusual to see one of the bird's wings limb along its side.
The clouds above Storm seemed to darken once again.

The Aig eventually caught up to the group of assorted creatures, and greeted them.

"Hi!" She lifted her good wing and waved it to the group, focusing on the Aska and its clouds in particular. "My name's Valkur! I was wondering if you'd like a bath with me?"

She cocked and twisted her head so that she was staring upside down at the lioness before her. "My owner always gave me a nice, warm bath after I fell out of the sky. And since I've already fallen, it must be bath time!"

Valkur scooted closer to the Aska, staring intensely at the clouds surrounding it. "Ooh, you have your own clouds? So does that mean you have your own sky, too?" Untwisting her head but still staring at the floating clouds, she continued, "Can I fly in it?"

Storm's eyes narrowed. This was very irritating. She took a deep breath. "My name is Storm. No thanks on the bath, yes I have clouds, nope I don't have my own sky, you could try to fly in it but I don't recommend it highly," she said sounding on edge. She absentmindedly unsheathed her claws.

"Eeep!"

Valkur hopped back from the Aska at the sudden flashing of claws. Yeesh... Her eyes now fixated on the Aska's nails. Sharp, like the Gryps'..

"We-well, uh, Storm, I guess we'll share a bath together some other time, huh?" The Aig's neck feathers ruffled out of place in nervous anticipation. Valkur backed up further away from Storm and closer to the lake. "Um, I guess I can't fly right now anyway, even if I wanted to," she nodded towards her wounded wing, "but after a bath, I'm sure my wing will be good as new and we can play then, all right?"

Feeling sufficiently out of range from the sitting Aska's claws, Valkur ceased her retreat and stood looking around at the other Ark creatures. "Uhm...does anyone else want a bath?"

This Aig, Valkur, is a very peppy creature. She would be lying if she said that she was surprised.
Venus kept silence as Valkur questioned Storm. She admits most of the questions had come off quite odd, but she really should not judge. It seemed the questions did have a slight effect on Storm, based on her tone in her response.
Valkur appeared very intimated by Storm and still manage to keep such a kind and positive outlook. The Aig even continued to invite others to join her in a bath. Venus was highly hesitant to accept, but it is a rather warm day.
"I'm going in." Venus stated without making eye contact. She started towards the small lake on her own.

Storm sheathed her claws once more. "Sorry," she said quietly,"I didn't mean to scare you..." Storm laid down onto her stomach some what sadly. That was a beautiful example if her temper.
