A World With Gods

After many tiring battles with the unfaithful gods we once believed in, the humans have retreated to build up their strength.

Although there are some good gods, the majority dislike of humankind and wish to get rid of them.
Yet the gods cannot do so because of the magic items that prevent them from using their most powerful skills such as floods and earthquakes without a massive drain of stamina.

The humans must work together to contain the gods and lock them up to prevent their wrath from continuing.

RULES
I might add some new rules later on

~No powerplaying or godmodding
~No instantly defeating a god (Powerplaying)
~No perfect characters
~Please do not ignore other characters when they talk to you
~Start out in the mansion.
~You can only have ONE elements, (Water, Fire, Earth, Etc) and I will ping you once you have learned a new skill in the Signup and Discussions.
~Please write more then one or two sentences....
~Your character starts off not remembering anything from her past.

Gasping, Adelina wakes. As she gets her bearings she looks around the room. She notices a metal door and can see two soldiers faintly outside the metal bars. Where am I? She wonders. As she gets up she realizes that her legs have cuts and bruises all over them. She falls back to the bed in distress. What happened? She doesn't remember anything after having woken up. (How much do you want us to write? Is everyone together or apart? @blackcatvenus)

@summer99318 (You can just write a few sentences, like 2 or 3. If you want to bump into someone in the mansion, I'm sure they wont mind.)

Elle opens her curtains. The morning sun shines through the windows as a cheerful hello. She looks around then realizes that she doesn't remember anything from before. Theres this part of her that thinks if she tries hard enough, she can remember. Elle sighs.

I might be in here for a while, she thinks, gripping her sheets tightly. I'd best go explore...

Bella opened her eyes. She was looking up at a plain white ceiling; a ceiling that was not her own. Pulling her ratted blonde hair out of her face, she tried to gather her bearings, but realized that she had no clear recollection of anything recent.

Cautiously stepping out of the bed, she decided to look around.

Daema stirred in her bed. She had an aching head and remembered nothing. She collapsed and shoved her face in her pillow, waiting for someone or something to wake her.

Lucy awoke from what appears to be an unusual dream. For some reason she just ended up in the mansion, as if she had been dragged down here.
She decided to get out of her bed, and headed outside her bedroom, ignoring anything her room had to offer. She decided it would be best to find someone else in this room, as she rarely saw people nowadays. People scare her, but when she knows that people are nearby, Lucy knows that she would be safe from harm.

Cordelia opened her eyes sleepily and rubbed her eyes. She flung open the curtains, making the room bright. She got up and got changed, then headed down to the hallways and began walking aimlessly around, exploring the mansion foyers. This mansion was completely unknown to her. ("Do I...have I seen this place? I don't think I have...")

Adelina again tried to get up clenching her jaw in pain. She looks at the door and sees just a brown wooden one. Wasn't there an iron door or was it just an illusion? She thought. When she tries the doorknob it opens smoothly without a sound. As she steps into the hallway she sees a girl standing in the hallway. This girl had a frilly blue dress and dark-blue hair. I wonder if she knows where we are. Adelina walks quickly, but cautiously towards the girl. "Hello?" She asks.

Elle opened the silver doorknob and was greeted by a flight of stairs carpeted with a red sheet. Carefully, she walked downstairs where a large dining table sat.

Elle sat down at one of the velvet padded chairs, and the plates held pancakes already with syrup, and some hashbrowns. She sat down, wondering if she should wait, but then her hunger got the best of her.

Daema's obsidian necklace glinted in the dim light and a black cat emerged from the darkness. It pawed at Daema's hands and mewed loudly, forcing Daema to get up. Sleepily, she followed her cat through the halls and waited for what it would bring next.

Daema turns a corner to find her cat has disappeared and there are two girls standing in its place. One of the girls was covered from head to toe in blue and the other was a pale girl with gray hair. Daema's intuition told her that they were trustworthy. "Uh, hi."

After thoroughly exploring her room, Bella concluded that there was nothing of interest inside. She decided to leave. She carefully turned the knob of the door and looked outside.

It was just a hallway, but there were three girls within.

Bella observed them from a distance.

One of the girls was wearing a blue, frilly dress, and had long blue hair. Another had silver hair that faded to black at the ends. The final girl had glossy black hair that shimmered in the dim light.

Bella tiptoed over to them. Two of them seemed to be in mid-conversation, so she decided to reach out to the lone girl; the one with the ebony hair.

"Hello." Bella said, attempting to be friendly, but only startling the dark-haired girl.

Daema whizzed around at the sound of a girl's voice behind her. It was a girl with tan skin and blonde hair. Daema could see this girl's heart, and it was pure. Quietly, she said, "Hello."

Lucy noticed that nobody had decided to get her attention. She sighed, knowing that might happen.
"Am I just invisible to you all...?" She muttered, before walking around the hallway once more, hoping somebody attempts to make eye contact with her.

Bella squinted her eyes at this girl, Daema. She considered using her ring on Daema, but decided against it.

No, she needed her energy to figure out where she was.

"So, what are we doing here?"

"Oh." Bella shook her head. She should've known. Daema had clearly developed her powers more than Bella.

Bella wondered if Daema could ever teach her how to control her powers.

Realizing that Daema could still understand what she was thinking, Bella's face flushed with embarrassment.

"So, now what?" Bella asked, trying to change topics.

She felt a strange fondness for this girl, and she sensed the beginnings of a beautiful friendship.

As the girls continued down the hallway I saw a foot turn the corner and I raced after it leaving the girls behind. "Wait!" I called, "who are you?" I caught up to her quickly and she just stared at me. As I said this I realized I was in a beautiful dining room. The table was set with plates laden with food.

Elle jumped at the girl who just arrived. She shifted nervously in her chair, then decided to introduce herself. "My name is Elle..." she said shakily, "what's yours?"

She fingered her necklace and shifted again. A small burst of light escaped, and Elle blinked. "Uh..." she muttered, "J...Just.. ignore that..."
