Yea, making threads and ranting them will just fuel the situation. Trolls will eventually go away if you pay no mind to them and just move on. Don't even comment in spam threads, it's what the troll wants. Attention.

Just making threads will make more people notice it and more people talk about it and it'll just escalate into a big problem that would've been solved if you just stayed quiet and live your virtual life. o_o

As stated before, there is no use fueling the fire by ranting against spam or replying to spam posts. They wont respond and you can't really deter them on your own. Ironically, replying to spam is basically spam on its own. 😋

Just ignore them and continue with the thread's intended topic. Just wait for Ian to deal with the issue and find the most efficient way to filter away spammers/bots/etc.

If there is a forum on the internet anywhere at any time, you'll run into this problem at some point. It's nothing personal against the website, really.
