At last Zen made it to the forest. She felt like she could hear voices as if something was taunting her. She started to run fearing that the voices where real. She ran as fast as she could not looking back. Zen ran into a clearing and there she could see it. "What is that? A...mansion?" She walks closer to it. "What would a mansion be doing all the way out here?" She wonders

Silver nodded. ''We better had. You all know your places. See ya.'' she said.

Emily and Chloe set off turning left at the end of the corridor. They kept on going for a while.

Zoe and Bella stood boredly at the door, waiting for a newcomer if there was one.

Samuel didn't understand how a knife would help him against spiders and he sort of didn't want to find out so he didn't ask.
"I dunno if it's nice to look through somebody's house." He mumbled as he carefully held the dagger out for Oswald to take. "Unless we're throwing someone a surprise party?" Samuel considered out loud. "I don't think anybody lives here though?"

Alyssa walked into the house. The door creeks when opened, and it was extremely dusty everywhere inside. "Where should we start?"

(Let's have Alyssa transformed pretty soon. I'd prefer if she morphs back and forth between a human and something, but that's just a preference. 😊)

Taking the knife, Oswald wasn't sure how to explain the situation to him. He didn't want to scare him, but the boy also should know the truth.

"We aren't really looking through the house. Not by choice anyways. You see, there's an exit on the other side and the only way to get to it is by going through," he explained. Oswald was surprised how young Sam was and how he got here by himself in the first place.

"I don't think anyone lives here either, but that doesn't mean it's not safe. We'll have to be careful."

Silver heard the laugh. ''I don't like this... I don't like this at all...'' she sighed.

Samuel nodded thoughtfully at Oswald's explanation. "So, it's like the spooky maze? At the fair?" Sam actually liked the fair maze, it wasn't too hard or too scary, but it was exciting. He liked the mirror's in it he best, they were always wobbly and weird and made people look funny.
Sam reached out to grab Oswald's hand. "Holding hands is careful, so we don't get lost." He smiled, looking around at the old wallpaper. "You know, nobody lives in the spooky maze either."

Zen walks up to the door and turns the knob. "Odd....it's open." She pushes the door open and walks into the mansion. The door slams behind her. "Ok. Now I'm a little scared."

Bella waved at the girl. ''Hey I'm Bella. We're trapped in here too, what's your name?'' she asked. Zoe didn't look at the girl, she was too busy on her phone ''OMG! This place doesn't even have Wifi!'' Zoe cried. Bella kicked her. ''What was that for?'' Bella kicked her again. Zoe got the idea. It meant for her to shut up.

Silver turned left. She then took a right. Suddenly she came face to face with the ghost of Lady Anna Robinson herself. She looked at Alyssa, trembling with fear. ''RUNNN!!!'' She yelled.

''There is no running to be done.'' laughed the Lady ''There is nowhere to go.''

Silver looked behind her. They were stuck in a room with a locked door. ''Darn'' she whispered.

Oswald took Sam's hand and guided him forward. He looked around them as they walked and talked, "Sort of like that. Do you get scared easily?" Oswald glanced at the pictures on the wall. He hoped Samuel was right about nobody living in spooky mazes.

''Oh. You'd of had the same fate no matter where you went.'' laughed the ghost. ''So... You first Silver hair.'' she cackled. She threw a shadow at Silver and she flew up into the air. ''You next... Hmm what should you be?'' she asked herself.

Samuel walked with Oswald, looking around the abandoned place. He reached out to touch a piece of peeled wallpaper only for it to crumble in his free hand. "Ew." He grimaced at it, wiping the crumbles of paper on his pants.
"I dunno," Sam shrugged. "I get scared when I can't find this." He shook his arm a little, the sterling silver medical ID bracelet jingling against itself. "What about you?"

Zoe laughed. ''Haunted mansion? In their dreams! This is some pathetic prank not a haunted mansion. The culprit will probably be Denis from my old school. He always does stuff like this.'' she said.

A medical ID bracelet? It probably has something to do with him being alone, Oswald thought. "Hmm, let's see. When other people are in danger is probably when I'm scared the most," he replied. Coming to a crossroads, he looked down both halls, but was unable to see where they lead.

Turning to Sam, Oswald asked, "Which way do you want to go? Left or Right?"

Sam hummed. "But if you're there you can save them." He decided, as if it were that simple.
At the question, Samuel took his hand back from Oswald and looked down at them, making Ls with his fingers. "This way!" He held up his right hand, re-taking Oswald's hand and walking down the right hall.

As they turned, Oswald couldn't help but smile at Sam's response. He wished he could return to that age, to being that innocent.

"How did you end up in this place anyway? Did you come here by yourself?" Oswald asked.

Sam looked confused for a moment, re-tracing his steps. "Oh! I was walkin' home and I saw the gate. I took a picture of it and I went through it to take a picture of the house! See?" He dug his little flip phone out of his pocket and went through the menus to find his pictures, the most recent being a picture of the front of the mansion. "I also have a picture of Chatters and Officer Bakay, and our neighbors, and the cat, and their dog," He listed off things he remembered taking pictures of, holding up the phone so Oswald could look at it.

Looking at the pictures, Oswald couldn't help but feel like something was wrong, but brushed off the feeling for the time being.

"Those are some nice pictures! You seem like you really like to take them too. Maybe you'll be a photographer one day. You could ask your parents for one of those fancy cameras when you're older."

Samuel stopped at Oswald's words. "I don't think I have any parents." He said, confusion twisting his face. "Officer Bakay adopted me from the police station." Face still written in a confused expression, Sam looked back down at the phone. "They remind me of stuff, so I don't forget it again. Will a fancy camera make me remember better?"

"P-p-please don't hurt m-me," Alyssa stammered. What did this ghost lady mean by 'what should you be'? Alyssa wanted to just be herself. "Silver!" She ran over to Silver's crumpled form. She felt her forehead- no, it was normal temperature. "Leave me be," Alyssa bravely told the ghost lady. "I just want to be normal and leave this place."
(Reason for later reply: bus, no data, bus ride takes forever... I'm probably going offline after this. Go ahead and change her, though. I want to see it when I come back.)

Oswald did a double take. "Wait, you think? I don't understand. And again?" He cocked his head in confusion. Looking at Samuel's bracelet again, a though popped into his head.

"Does your bracelet say anything?" Oswald asked.

Samuel matched Oswald's confused look. "Yeah?" He held out his arm and flipped over the engraved plate. "It says," He twisted around to read it. "Samuel Bakay. Memory Loss. I.C.E. - In case of emergency," Samuel clarified, nodding "and Officer Bakay's phone number." Sam looked back up at Oswald. "Why?"
