I saw another topic like this, and I like the idea of getting suggestions.I tend to lean more towards modern adventure/fantasy books, but I occasionally read some more of the 'old' times, more like when there were kings and queens. I also like books that have magic, or something similar, in them and I also tend to lean more towards those.Books I've read in the past that I've enjoyed:Keeper of the Lost CitiesHarry PotterUncagedMichael Vey

@flowerlynx I like Harry Potter. They're awesome books.I suggest the Percy Jackson series by Rick Riordan, there's some really funny parts. Rick Riordan's other books are quite good, he usually focuses on mythology.

@flowerlynx If you're interested in fantasy books I do suggest the Matthew Swift novels, Magicals Anonymous(Sort of a sequel series to the Matthew Swift novels) they're both written by Kate Griffin, and Gift of the Phoenix by Donna Cook. The Kate Griffin books are set in a sort of modern London like 2012 or so time setting, and they involve a lot of magic, and magical aspects. And the Gift of the Phoenix is a medieval fantasy novel, with magic involved.
