Deer, like every morning, woke up earlier than the rest of the unicorns. She walked out of camp to a hill by the pond, where when the sun hit it just right, it sparkles. Fox, has always been curious why she is always coming into camp when everyone else wakes up, followed her out. Deer sat down and waited. Fox wondered what she was doing. As the sun rose, he saw the pond and approached her.
"It's beautiful," he says.
She jumps up because of his voice and turns around. Deer relaxes when she realizes it is just Fox. She looks out at the pond, "Yeah, but it fades so soon."
They gaze at the pond in kind of awkward silence until the sparkles disappear.
"Well, guess it's time to head back. Don't want them worrying," Deer speaks finally.
"Yeah, guess so," Fox agrees.
And with that, they head off back to camp. Joking and playing all the way back.
