The Broken World (Sign-Ups)

The Broken World is a piece of the world which has been torn apart by the chaos of mythical creatures and humans fighting. What was ashes now turned into bustling cities, made to hold order.
Surrounded by mountains, the Broken World lies within a different plane in the universe, hidden by a strange force that covers the area in fog.
Past the area is nothing but the ruins of former cities, crumbling down as the artifacts of former civilizations are buried beneath the rubble, lush forests growing over them, or so they say. Past the Broken World lies distortion of space, insanity, and coming right back to where one was in an instant.
It's been 550 years since the war.

Name: Cymoline Vespon
Age: Doesn't know, doesn't care
Gender: Genderfluid
Species: Human-passing
Appearance: They are 5"08 in height, with somewhat short light brown hair in a messy style. They are pale skinned, slightly skinny build, but yet they are human-passing, despite their crimson eyes.
Clothing: Cymoline wears a black shirt and a light gray jacket. They have dark blue jeans and plain black sneakers. On their left wrist is a regular analog watch, which is a few minutes behind.
Abilities/Weapons: Their main power is to read one's traits, and their other abilities are decent psychic abilities and being a somewhat decent empath at heart. Cymoline can also age forever.
In the world that Cymoline used to live, they had amounts of training. They are fast and can endure more attacks.
Weaknesses: The biggest and worst drawback about Cymoline's trait reading is that they can only read traits that they have, and the only thing they know is being friendly. Psychic abilities are only useful for when they are in a tight situation. They are immortal in terms of age, but aren't immortal in terms of wounds and diseases.
Personality: As someone who's main power can only be used if the person and them share the same trait, Cymoline is a bit of a lonely person. They don't really do anything that much, and is often ignored by others. Deep down, Cymoline is very friendly, but to their surprise, nobody they see even have the friendly trait within them.
Other: Cymoline didn't originate in the Broken World, but as the world past it began to distort, they were unable to leave.
Associated Song: Gorillaz - Clint Eastwood
Backstory: Cymoline didn't come from this world. Their past life was what they called "a world in which mythical creature intervention barely existed outside the city." They don't remember much, but began to hear voices from somebody they consider familiar. Suddenly, a mythical creature began to rip a hole in space which took Cymoline.
What happened after that was that Cymoline ended up in the Broken World, and learned a new ability within the process.

Name: Haruka Azurin
Age: 15
Gender: Female
Species: Human Magician
Appearance: Haruka resembles an average 15-year-old. She has brown hair in pigtails, and has dark brown eyes. She is around 5"04 in height and has fair complexion.
Clothing: Haruka has black glasses and wears a black headband. She wears a black vest and a white dress, as well as black shoes and purple knee-high socks.
Abilities/Weapons: Haruka is learning magic. She doesn't know much, but specializes in dark and healing magic. She can blind others, or mend their wounds. She can use dark magic in daylight, but not when it is around 10 am to 4 pm, as that is when the sun is very hot and high in the sky.
Weaknesses: Haruka's magic is very weak, as she just started. Because of this, her magic can be very easy to counter. She can't heal much, and can only heal little wounds for now.
Personality: Haruka is very shy, and doesn't really have a lot to say. She becomes very sad when somebody refuses to get healed by her. Haruka tries her best to be a good magician, however.

Name: Skye
Age: Unknown, looks around 16.
Gender: Female
Species: Shapeshifter
Appearance: Skye's appearance is ever changing, due to being a shifter. Skye usually appears as a girl with waist length blonde hair with blue dip-dye, blue eyes and freckles.
Clothing: Skye usually wears a blue dress with a denim jacket, blue sneakers and a brown satchel. She also wears a brown belt. Two sword hang from that belt.
Abilities/Weapons: Skye can shapeshift into ANYTHING, literally. Trees, clouds, you name it! She fights with two swords and often uses her shifting power to fight. When she becomes an animal, she gains their ability temporarily. If she was to become a phoenix, she could manipulate fire. If she turned back into a human, that power would no longer be there.
Weaknesses: Skye can be quite blunt, meaning she doesn't have many friends. Her 'friends' are usually only tempory because she always moves on and leaves them behind. Sometimes she plays pranks on her 'friends' and sometimes they aren't always nice pranks, another reason why she doesn't have many friends. Skye is weak to a single event, an eclipse. During an eclipse, she can't turn into any magical creature and she also can't gain the ability of whatever thing she turns into. Skye also can't turn into anything larger than two fully matured elephants on top of each other, meaning she can't become a planet or something like that.
Personality: Skye is mischevious, independant, rebellious, feisty, carefree, untrustworthy and not very loyal. Her best quality is her honesty, if you want a blunt critique then Skye's the girl for you.
Other: All her family died during an eclipse ten years ago. Skye can live a maximum of a thousand years without dying of old age. She loves dancing and partying.

Backstory: (Too lazy to write it. Sorry. Skye doesn't know her backstory yet, it will be unveiled in the story.)

Name: Fern Floruma
Age: In her twenties
Gender: Female
Species: Elf Sorcerer
Appearance: Fern has waist length wavy jet black hair, grey eyes and pale skin. Her eye color changes according to her mood: Red - Angry, Blue - Sad, Green - Happy. Sometimes her eye color can be between green and blue. Her ears are the usual elf ears.
Clothing: Fern wears a green dress that reaches the floor and a belt which holds healing potions. She usually walks barefoot but when it's rocky she will summon green shoes to wear. She never has heels on her shoes. Fern also has a green flower shape on her back, the mark of an Elf sorcerer.
Abilities/Weapons: Fern can heal most injuries, use nature powers and summon clothing. Fern carries a staff made of oak with an emerald orb upon it.
Weaknesses: The clothing she summons can only be for her, no one else. Anyone who tries them on gets cursed, and she can't heal them. She can't use nature powers much, only during the daylight. But, she can only heal at night, unless using her potions. Fern can't summon potions, she has to make them, and they are almost impossible to make. She only has one potion of each type, ten potions all together. They are heavy to carry, making her slower than most people. She can only make potions during the morning. One potion is only enough for one person.
Personality: Fern is kind, generous, loyal and wise.

Name: Pyralite
Age: They don't really know.
Gender: Agender
Species: Was at one point human, but now some mix between human and dragon.
Appearance: Human in shape and general structure, Pyralite has very short messy black hair, sharp mildly glowing blue eyes and a body covered in white scales. They have a forked tongue, with a set of wings on their back. Their hands, feet and teeth are all humanoid.
Clothing: Pyralite wears a set of gray jeans, gray sneakers, a purple hooded sweatshirt with small tears for wings and a gray scarf. They rarely have the hood not covering their face.
Abilities/Weapons: Pyralite can see in the dark, they have the ability to glide to other places, not fly. Pyralite can use magic as well.
Weaknesses: Pyralite has very poor day vision being designed to see in dark places, their wings are next to useless for anything but gliding from one place to another, magic relies on the amount of energy in a given place so the potency and value of a spell is all dependant on that.
Personality: Pyralite is very friendly, cheerful and very excitable. They tend to go out of their way to help others and they simply adore being around people.

Associated Song: Machine- Misterwives
Backstory: Pyralite was part of a project created by an order of people set to bring about the aspects of their old world, and so like her friend Mehanes she was joined with the spirit if a dragon. The procedure was not properly completed and so Pyralite was set into a magical stasis by their friend Mehanes after Pyralite was joined with a dragon. They have recently been awoken, after many years sleep.

Age: Unknown
Gender: Female
Species: Cymoline's subconsciousness figment.
Appearance: Lilith had black hair that was dyed violet at the tips. She was somewhat dark skinned in color, and stands at around 5"03.
Clothing: A black tank top, purple arm warmers. Worn black shoes and dark blue jeans.
Abilities/Weapons: Only Cymoline can see her. Lilith, however, can interact with reality, as she isn't just randomly created from Cymoline's mind, and used to be a living thing, like a ghost.
Weaknesses: Anybody who can manipulate the subconscious can see Lilith.
Personality: Lilith was a reckless and funloving girl. She was seven years younger than Cymoline, and considers them to be a big sibling to them. Lilith now guides Cymoline to the right way.
Other: Used to be human, until she died and ended up in Cymoline's subconscious as a guide.

Name: Mehanes
Age: 289, same age as Pyralite except they actually know their age.
Gender: Nonbinary. Will use any and all pronouns but mainly they/them
Species: Synthetic Drakonian
Appearance: Mehanes has messy dark ginger hair. From their head curl dark gold horns, their face is mainly covered in violet scales and their eyes are dark silver. Above their heart sits a deep blue crystal like protrusion, encompassing half their upper torso. Mehanes has a forked tongue and sharp teeth, with clawed fingers. They have a round finned tail and wings from their back. Patches of violet scales cover random parts of their body. Their ears are large and finned covering slits that help breathing through most conditions
Clothing: Mehanes wears a leather jacket to cover their crystals, a set of black pants and shoes alongside an openbacked gray shirt.
Abilities/Weapons: Mehanes is capable of flight, and can breathe fire and ice. They can use magic and can breathe in smoke and water.
Weaknesses: Mehanes' life rests in their crystal. They draw most of their power from it and rely heavily upon it to keep them alive. Damage to the crystal damages Mehanes' power and life. Mehanes is very unstable in creation and often fluctuates with their dominant soul, flipping between the mage Mehay and the dragon Siloanes causing for abrupt and shocking personality shifts.
Personality: Mehanes is head strong, often doing what she wants to do, and tends to get into trouble as a result. He doesn't always think about what he does and does the best for him and his friends. They may act like a trickster, using their magic to do pranks and to manipulate others into giving information. Although they don't often do this as that is primarily Mehay's control.

Associated Song: Warriors - Imagine Dragons
Backstory: Mehanes was part of an experiment done by a group of mages to bring back their old order. Like Pyralite Mehanes was joined with a dragon, but unlike Pyralite their procedure was completed. Upon realizing that Pyralite was left in a volatile state Mehanes set their friend in a stasis to stabilize.
