Notifications not loading

I'm finding that when I'm on my tablet (Android with Chrome) that I cant get the notificatins to load. The rest of the page loads, but I just get a spinning loading wheel where the notifications should appear.

Other pages load fine, and the notifications show on my desktop (also Chrome).

For me, I use Chrome on my laptop and notifications never show. The only way I know I have one is the little bell is lit up, but it is a bit bothersome because it might just be my daily stats for star creatures.

Ok. Firstly I will appologise as i was mistaken in my opening post. It's Explorer on my tablet that doesn't load notifications. Either the issue has been rectified, or it does work in Chrome, or its plying with me.

Which means I can now moniter stuff while waiting around for doctors again. Yay for free wifi.

When using the default internet browser on my tablet (Samsung, it's just labeled "Internet" everywhere and has symbol of a globe), yes I am. That is through 2 different wifi networks.

However it seems to work fine if I use Chrome.

Yes, I am still not getting notifications. It might have something to do with Adblock?

Wait, so we should still see popups whenever we get a notification? This whole time I thought the only way of knowing was if the bell icon appears orange?

I'm not sure either, I get the bell lighting up, but I thought pop ups would have been integrated from V2 to V3

I'm getting the bell lighting up. It's just everything on the page BUT the actual notifications is showing when I follow it. So I'm getting the side bars and the ads, and the continuously spinning wheel that indicates they are loading. And loading. Until I give in after about 3 minutes.

I dont get the pop ups either I assumed v3 just didnt have them, The bell still lights up so I click on that t find out what they are ☹️

@minnie298a @dappne6 @newlife we removed pop ups from version 2 to version 3. Please click the orange bell to view the list of notifications when they come up.

We will reconsider adding pop ups again.

With regards to Samsung's internet browser, I'm unsure of why notifications wouldn't be working from this browser.

If you have any ad blockers turned on, I'd turn them off as this could be interfering.

The lack of pop ups never bothered me.

The bell is still lighting up, and I can can navigate to the page where everything else in the layout loads fairly quickly. It's just the actually notification messages that get the loading wheel. I can even get the box with "Today · Yesterday · Older" in it.

As far as I know, I don't have any ad blockers on, mainly because I can still see the ads on the page.

As I said above, I have a work around in that I switched to Chrome on my tablet for Eggcave where there are no problems.
