Tavros silently followed the others.
He quickly recognized the president and covered his mouth with his hand, gasping.

I listen to hear the President. It was boring and the things can't be true. But the more I listened the more I believed. Still I would really want to make friends at this place.

I look at the president and fight back a sudden impulse to laugh and say: Yes, and I believe THAT? I flicked back my curls and absent-mindedly started braiding and unbraiding them. What I get is still perfect curls, only slightly... my goodness if this is possible... CURLIER.

'So meathead's name is Surge.' Lorin made a mental note of that in her mind. She turned to Tavros and Emmy and Vanir and Rue and Kirsten. "Tough crowd," she whispered, eying a beady eyed man who was also in the room standing next to the President with a few other people. Actually, all the people looked quite frightening and menacing.....

Tavros wasn't really listening to the president at all. He was trying to remember the others names. Then, he remembered a memory from years ago.

"Uhh, Gam, this is not, a good idea." Tavros said, staring down the steep cliff. His hand rested on the straps of his parachute.
Gamzee laughed. "Don't be silly, Tavbro. Just remember to pull this string here, kay? Besides, this cliff is only about three-thousand feet down!" He pulled down indigo goggles from his messy, curly hair and smiled.
"But, Gamzee, I'm not--" "Theres nothing to worry about!" he started laughing and jumped, grabbing Tav's arm and pulling him with.

Tavros shuddered. His face went blank.

It was only when Surge barked again that Lorin realized the President was done speaking, and they were filing single file out another door with Mr. Huong in the lead. They wondered through many crisscrossing hallways, until Mr. Huong finally stopped in front of a door with a golden dragon carved into it.....

Tavros looked around, and noticed Kirsten looking at him. He blushed and turned around again. His mouth dropped at the magnificent dragon carving.

Mr. Huong had a very thick Chinese accent. "Nao, enta the dragon's lair. We shall begin with the basics which Mr. President son has prepared fo you."
'President Son? Perhaps Japanese and Chinese," Lorin thought. 'And I hope the basics are easy, I'm not that flexible...'

"Good guesses, teenagesons, but you will see." Lorin jumped as Mr. Huong spoke to them. "Nao In, In! I wan to begin nao!"
Lorin walked into a dimly lit room.
"Sit nao class! Sit nao!"
Lorin sat down on the thi gold colored mats in the room. Mr. Huong turned towards the group.
"Nao..."
He began.
"AWAKEN!"
Lorin gasped as one by one, fire burst from the mouths of carved golden dragons on the wall, lighting up the room. Mr. Huong turneed towards Lorin, whose mouth was open in shock.
He grinned evilly.
"Nao, class. We shall begin."
