Yet another sci-fi roleplay. Nothing much to say here.

Rules:
No godmodding/mary gary sues. No exceptions.
A minimum of one and a half paragraph to encourage worldbuilding.
Your character, whether you like it or not, must have weaknesses to be fair and have equal play between all characters.
Because this is a space age RP, go crazy with species. Not too crazy.
No overpowered abilities.
I'm not limiting your adventure. Your character can be from Andromeda if you want to. Travelling between galaxies may vary.

My characters!
Name: Marai Lasamo (D87-1928)
Age: 4, physically 28
Gender: Female
Species: Grox-created creature, a cyborg.
Appearance: Her entire skin is sky blue, and her eyes have no pupils and her sclera is completely white. She is 7"03 in height. Marai's hair is silver, and tied into a ponytail. She has a segmented tail. Her entire build is somewhat muscular.
Clothing: Marai wears a white tank top, and a skirt. She wears regular shoes created out of lightweight metal, and her right eye is replaced with a cyborg one. She has a pair of headpieces that are stuck on the side of her head. Marai's left wrist and hand is replaced with a robotic one. On her back is an attachment meant to augment her abilities.
Abilities/Weapons: Since Marai was created to be a soldier for the strongest race in the Milky Way, she has very strong abilities, not to mention she has cybernetic implants in herself. She has enhanced power, endurance, and speed.
Her weapon of choice is a rifle, which can fire a barrage of bullets. Marai's back attachment causes her to get electricity-based powers. Her Grox origins cause her to activate any Grox technology with ease.
Weaknesses: She is very weak against opposing electricity. Because she is part machine, opposing electricity can short-circuit her and cause fatal damage. Marai is also weak against water, because you shouldn't put your electronics in the water.
Personality: Marai is selfless and born to be a fighter. She attacks anybody who looks aggressive, and follows orders to perfection. Because she is a defective Grox-created soldier, she shows a huge dislike to the Grox, and is willing to risk her life saving those like her.
Other: Marai's ship is a redesigned Grox ship.
Backstory: Marai was created in a Grox lab to be a fighter. She had no parents, and came out as an adult with all the knowledge of Grox technology and fighting. For the four years she spent serving the Grox, fighting their wars, and being their guard, she felt miserable. When a single explosion and malfunction occured which caused all Grox systems to go offline on her planet, she, and multiple other soldiers, managed to escape. Because of her status of a defective rebel, Marai is not allowed to go near any Grox colony.

Name: Haru Himeta
Age: Lost track after a few millenia.
Gender: Male
Species: Bake-Danuki, or basically a Japanese raccoon dog (tanuki).
Appearance: Haru as his human form is a regular male with brown-maroon hair and dark brown eyes. His skin is unnoticably a bit dark, and Haru is around 6"00.
As a Tanuki, he's just a small regular raccoon with a leaf on its head.
Clothing: Wears a brown shirt, a forest green jacket, and dark blue jeans with black shoes. Haru wears black square glasses, a giant leaf on the head, and always has the large tail and ears of a tanuki. He cannot remove them.
Abilities/Weapons: Haru has the ability to transform items, people, and himself into any form by putting a leaf on it, or on a person's head. Like all other Bake-Danuki (and kitsune), he's a master of tricking people and illusions, and uses leaves to do those actions as well, Haru is also a very good liar and impersonator. His weapons are all leaves which can shapeshift things such as a rock into a useable sword or gun.
Weaknesses: When Haru transforms, all of his forms will have the ears and tail of the tanuki, so they must hide it in some way. He is unable to shapeshift himself or others if he doesn't have a leaf to place on anyone's head, and even illusions must come with a price of a single leaf.
Personality: Haru is a jokester. He enjoys playing tricks on people and doesn't mind if they get hurt, just as long as he gets to see people get easily tricked by illusions.

Name: Paxon Setilli
Age: 500,000 years old, looks 21
Gender: Male
Species: Mix of human, demon, and avian
Appearance: Paxon stands at five feet and nine inches. His hair is light brown with a few black feathers in the mix and his eyes are bright amber. He has slightly tanned skin and is covered in dark freckles. On his back is a pair of large, black, feathery wings that have a few dark brown feathers. He has a few scratches as well from his feathers and burn marks from practicing using his power.
Clothing: For shoes, he wears black combat boots. Paxon has a light grey hoodie and baby blue t-shirt he wears underneath. He also wears jeans.
Abilities/Weapons: Paxon can obviously fly, but he isn't exactly good at it. He uses his feathers as throwing knives/ninja stars, as they grow back quickly and are very sharp. He can also manipulate fire and can not be harmed by it. However, he is still learning to master this power and it isn't abnormal that his feathers and hair are singed from failed practices.
Weaknesses: Despite being able to quickly pull a feather out to use as a small weapon, it is painful and can cause that area to become slightly sore. He doesn't know it yet, but Paxon is weak to obsidian. It limits his powers and makes him sleepy/sluggish.
Personality: Very childish at heart, Paxon is like a seven year old in a twenty one year body. He can be immature and easily impressed. Not only that, but he is very gullible and energetic. Paxon hates to sit still and hates to see people upset. He can be a bit destructive and clumsy as well. Aside from that, the man is very social, friendly, trusting, and extroverted.

Species: The Enhanced
Appearance: Dark skin and a numbered tattoo on her neck. Human looking except for certain traits: long fingers, white irises and, strangely, no hair.
Clothing: A jacket thrown over a dark grey jumpsuit. A necklace with a chess queen shaped pendent.
Abilities/Weapons: Has immense intelligence, with calculation and deduction skills engineered for warfare and strategy. She carries a knife.
Weaknesses: Interacting with people can be difficult for her, and she has trouble with hand to hand fighting and piloting a ship because of the amount of input. Can be clumsy.
Personality: Quiet until she trusts you, but then it's best to listen to what she says. She is always listening, and will find out your intentions. Very cautious and guarded.
Other: Was raised on engineered nonbiological food. Regular food still makes her a little sick, but she has discovered chocolate and usually carries a piece in her pocket. Trying to find interplanetory transportation.
Backstory: Was born and raised in a prison camp for the Enhanced. She doesn't share her experiences there with anyone.

Making another one as well if this one gets approved. Also, @nightmaremoon12, could you give a couple details about the world? If not that's fine, its just to make sure I don't do anything crazy 😊

The roleplay is like any other Space Age RP (Starbound, Star Wars, etc etc, Spore...) and it's advanced enough that the average Faster-Than-Light drive can travel through neigboring galaxies. You can pretty much go through any galaxy you want. I didn't set a limit to your galaxy travels, so the roleplay's exploration is pretty open. The Milky Way's center is guarded by an even more advanced race known as the Grox, and that's basically it.

@nightmaremoon12 I'm still working on getting Pyralite and Mehanes right. So hopefully I like this version of them better. I've also based Pyralite more on a few characters from media I've read. I'm hoping that helps to flesh out their character more.

Name: Pyralite
Age: 265 years
Gender: Nonbinary(They/Them)
Species: Albino Basilisk Drakonian
Appearance: Pyralite is human in stature, with very pale skin in the few places it is exposed. Their body is primarily covered in white scales, forming a sort of armor on their body. Pyralite has solid colored and slit pupiled reddish pink eyes. Their finger nails and toenails are similar to claws with their feet close to paws. Their teeth are needle thin and very sharp with far more than the normal human amount. They also have a forked bright pink tongue.
Clothing: Pyralite typically wears a set of long sleeved red trimmed black robes with a red pattern of swirls on them. The robes have a hood. Pyralite also tends to wear fingerless gloves covering most of their arms, even once they vanish into the robe sleeves. Pyralite also tends to wear a blindfold over their eyes.
Abilities/Weapons: Pyralite holds intuitive aptitude, or the ability to understand how things work from seeing them, as well as mild telekinesis, natural venom in their teeth, empathy, heightened senses, and the ability to daze opponents by eye contact.
Pyralite fights with their claws and teeth mainly, although they also carry two swords with them to be on the safe side.
Weaknesses: Pyralite is hypersensitive to sunlight, and being in direct contact causes them to turn redder than a boiled lobster. Aside from that Pyralite is only able to understand how things work when currently using that information. They can understand how it works, but unless directly using it they cannot remember. They also cannot control when they daze others and it is not something they can avoid doing to anyone, thus resulting in them having to constantly hide their eyes for fear they will harm someone else. Pyralite's empathy and senses are painfully increased to the point where the emotions of others can swamp Pyralite causing unwanted mood swings and with heightened senses comes Pyralite getting highly annoyed at little things other do.
Personality: Pyralite is very friendly, but they tend to act a bit violent with their friends. Pyralite is often clinging to their friends in a metaphorical sense, or laughing at them, with them and any form of laughing in between. Pyralite tends to find enjoyment in little things and tried to surround themself with people who would be happy to avoid unnecessary mood swings.
Other: Pyralite is roughly based off of Pyralspite, Terezi, Syler/Gabriel Gray and Peter Petrelli

Species: Luan (non look nearly identical)
Apperance: Wears a Hargomoro Zypher expect the helmet. Represents somthing similar to a canine with bird like wings (suit not covering them.) with a light green stripe across the wings. Also has light green stripes on her legs, tail, arms, and neck, has oval like light green shapes over her orange eyes. Has a grey fur base.
Abilities/weapons: A sleek looking crossbow that's meant to puncture and corrode armour but is still very harmful to organic enemies. A cutlass and dagger meant for close range combat or to parry melee enemies. Wind manipulation and can summon electricity naturally but uses up energy/stamina. Claws.
Weakness: Her chest deformity making her have less stamina and if she gets overheated she is reduced to a flopping furry trying to claw you. People who have high stamina.
Personality: She can act rude without even knowing it. Can be a recluse if you can't be relatable to her. She can sometimes emotionally detach from somthing or someone and bluntly tell the person somthing. She dosnt like people poking into her business. Does things in her own time.

Species: Eresha
Appearance: Older man with salt-and-pepper hair. He is small and wiry, with a metal cybernetic leg and rather beat up and almost flightless wings on his back.
Clothing: Dark blue uniform when he is in public, ratty overalls and a white t-shirt that he wears when in the privacy of his ship.
Abilities/Weapons: Flight, though he is getting too old for it. A Eresh military issued pistol.
Weaknesses: Leg hinders him a bit. Doesn't like protocol.
Personality: Hotheaded and intense. Demands honesty and respect from both those above him and under him.
Other: A pilot of the Eresh guard. Sent to fly in a team to prepare the way for Eri Matthias's (the dictator) visit to the planet and clear the area of any possible hostiles.

Name: Drace Melocami

Age: was 21 when died, two years as a guardian spirit

Gender: Male

Species: Guardian Spirit (NOT angel)

Appearance: Drace is not quite tall, but he isn't a midget either. He has short blond hair that is brushed to the left and grayish blue eyes. He's usually mistaken as a teenager because how small he is, which usually triggers him. Slightly transparent, he sometimes appear to be a ghost, but Drace mostly appears in dreams.

Clothing:He wears what he died with (A grey hoodie partially splattered with dried blood, black sneakers also covered in blood but only a speck, and blue jeans that are quite spotless). He has short blond hair that is brushed to the left and grayish blue eyes.

Abilities/Weapons: He can dream travel (Woah, is that a thing?). Dream travelling is typically jumping (And disturbing, ruining may or may not apply) into another's dreams. Handy for telling secrets without being heard.

Weaknesses: Of course, a great ability comes with flaws. Drace can only dream travel when he is asleep, so if there's an enemy near by, he has a chance of dying when he's sleeping. Some believe that being a spirit, you cannot be killed. BOY WERE THEY WRONG. Guardian spirits may appear to be clear looking, but they're solid, making them 100% kill-able.

Personality: He's easy going, but sometimes will fight over the stupidest things. Drace is usually a kind person, so making friends isn't hard for him. What is difficult is dealing with enemies since he isn't the fighter type, always playing defense and all. Most of the time, he doesn't care about disasters going on simply by saying, "It's fiiiine"

Other: The person he was guarding died, so now all he guards is a tomato plant that's more than ripened. He's looking for someone to guard, but too lazy to actually do that.

Age: Around a couple hundred years old.
Gender: None
Species: Grox

Remai is 3"04 in height, around the average height of the Grox.
Clothing: Remai wears special headphones and their cyborg eye is much brighter than regular Grox.
Abilities/Weapons: Remai has immense knowledge on so many things. They are very intelligent on the battlefield as well. Due to their cybernetic implants which are more powerful than that of Marai's, their overall abilities are very powerful.
They also have the manipulation of the subconscious, and uses that to interrogate enemies and prisoners, and turn them into reality.
Remai wears special headphones because they are very sensitive to noise, and they must project their voice to be loud for them to hear properly.
Weaknesses: Remai's weakness is that they're very unstable when it comes to their abilities. Because they lack real emotions, they are more and more unstable, causing them to break everything around them.
Due to their cybernetic implants, Remai's powers can be disabled through electricity or hacking, rendering them powerless and weak. Remai, like all Grox is unable to go into any inhabitable planet, as they are too toxic for it. Partial uninhabitable planets will slowly cause them to die.
Remai's subconscious projection can only be used if they can successfully read the subconsciousness of others and get an image of it. Without any image as reference, Remai can't turn it into reality.
Personality: Remai is emotionless, strict, and will make sure that everything goes in plan. They try to imitate emotions, but fail to do so. Remai, like other Grox, can and will destroy colonies, and have no explanation as to why they do that.

Name: Aurora
Age: A few decades
Gender: Female
Species: Star Guardian/Spirit(More like the guardian of a star)(With a bits of phoenix, angel, spirit and ghost linages mixed into her linage. She is mostly a Star Spirit/Guardian though)
Appearance: Aurora is small and lightweight. She has porcelian white skin with flamelike substances and colors that dance around her skin. Her irises are silvery white, and her pupils are golden colored. Her hair is usually a combination of gold, red, orange, and yellow. It turns silvery white when using her powers. Overall, she looks transparent and ghostly. She wears a silver necklace with a star on it and other stars floating around( the main star looks a bit like what most think the Star of Bethlehem looks like). She does have feathery white wings that have some flamelike substance on it that can be hidden away, but she never really uses the wings.
Clothing: A pretty white dress.
Abilities/Weapons: She can absorb and bend light, walk through walls, turn invisible, and fly because of her wings. She can also bend the shadows and use it to teleport. Also, Aurora can turn into a star.
Weaknesses: Her powers of light and shadow often clash, so during daytime, she uses only her light powers and during nighttime, she can use her showdy powers. Flying is tiring, so she never uses it much. Turning invisible isn't as easy for her, because she isn't a pure spirit(well she is a star spirit, but not the ghostlike ones). Most of the times she fail to walk through walls, leaving her to bump it. Because she is still young, she isn't very skilled to turn into a star, so when she's in trouble, she is left with half of her essence fleeing for life.
Personality: Quick learner and perfectionist, she's usually prideful. She is rather sensitive, easily embarrased. Her memory is very good, she can memorize alot in just one look.
Other: None
Backstory: Aurora's mixed linage when a few millenia back, though her powers are from it. Even though her linage is confusing, it makes perfect sense to Aurora. Created due to dust and gas particles from an older star. But somehow during the creation, she was infused with some otherworldly power from another galaxy. So she is able to use powers from her linage, making her powerful.

Name: Mehanes
Age: 266
Gender: Yes (They/She/He)
Species: Synthetic Flame Drakonian
Appearance: Mehanes has a mess of bright ginger hair. They have a strange silver crystal on the front chest spanning from bottom of ribcage to clavicle making up a hard armor over the more fragile black stone protruding from the center of the crystals on their upper body, just where the sternum is located. Mehanes has a body covered in dark orange and black scales. He has very sharp teeth and clawed hands with feet resembling paws with claws on the tips. From his back Mehanes has large leathery dragon wings. Mehanes' eyes are solid slit pupiled silver eyes.
Clothing: Mehanes usually wears baggy shorts. They wear a very baggy and torn shirt with an open back. She usually wears hand wraps to keep the bones safe.
Abilities/Weapons: Mehanes is capable of lighting themself on fire. Like literally cause flames to tear down their spine and cover their body. They can also breathe fire and ignite their hair. Mehanes has the use of flight from his wings. Typically Mehanes fights hand to hand utilizing their claws in battle.
Weaknesses: Mehanes' body flames are prone to sparking up when angry. They also cause Mehanes to have a light burns for a while after lighting themself on fire. Due to their chest being composed of crystals, Mehanes has a few issues with strenuous activity. Namely that she can't get as much oxygen in because she must rely on breathing from her stomach as opposed to chest. This causes a few breathing issues.
Personality: Mehanes is hot tempered, and very volatile. They get angered easily and often refuse to stand down from their own opinions.
Other: If it helps to inagine, Mehanes basically has their entire upper torso from bottom of ribcage to clavicle on the front half of their body as opaque silver crystal. Their back is not covered in crystal.

Age: 6 (cat years) 26 (human years)
Gender: None (an it)
Species: Cyborg cat (grox-made)
Appearance: Ginger tabby with cyborg right front paw, left ear, and a long metal tail. It walks like a human and not like a cat.
Clothing: There is a large cannon attached to his back. It also wears a tight black hoodie when it's not fighting.
Abilities/Weapons: It's powerful cannon blasts bombs. It has superspeed and razor-sharp claws that can cut metal in half. Thanks to it's lightning rod tail, electric power is absorbed to boost it's charge rate.
Weaknesses: It has long charging time for it's cannon. If in contact with any form of water, it's cyborg parts can loosen and fall off, making it your average cat. It's ginger fur also lets it be easily found.
Personality: Calm, but easily changes mood. If it sees a fight, it'll help right away.
Other: None
Backstory: It was modified by Grox. Before they could finish it, it floated away and is still avoiding the Grox.

Name: Dove
Age: 13 (cat years)
Gender: Female
Species: Angel cat
Appearance: Fluffy white tabby with angel wings and a halo. She also has a strange marking on her flank, it resembles a bird in the light.
Clothing: She wears a size small hoodie that's green and has cat-ear holes on the hood. Very rarely, she wears a pair of size 4 shoes that are pink and don't fit.
Abilities/Weapons: She has the power of flight with her angel wings. Her claws are super sharp, and they don't normally retract much. Her tail can be used as a shield against most ranged attacks. She can make and control water too.
Weaknesses: Her wings are under-developed and don't work well as they crash a lot. Her claws wear down, as she plays with a scratching post to relieve stress. Her water powers are very powerful, but she loses control after she uses to much energy on her creations and hurts herself.
Personality: She easily gets stressed. On those rare moments she feels calm, she'll open up her angel wings and fly around, before crashing.
Other: She is Sun's hidden littermate
Backstory: When she was kitted, she somehow had wings and a halo on her. To Sun's disappointment, she was abandoned at 1 year old, so she flew away, and ended up in the Milky Way. She has moved from planet to planet, avoiding the so-called Grox.

Marai's being bounty hunted. That's pretty much what's important since most of us are now focused on the Grox. You can jump on in, though.

Species: Demon
Appearance: Kore has deep red skin. There is also a light coat of fur on his back. His tail is an original demon tail, but it's rather short.
Clothing: Kore wears normal human clothes. He wears a yellow hoodie with short jeans. His shoes are silver and size 4. Every so often he wears a white cap.
Abilities/Weapons: Kore fights with his claws. They are razor-sharp, and they can even break metal without even trying. His tail is strong too. He can jab others with his tail, as it is rather sharp.
Weaknesses: He is weak to ranged moves. He doesn't do any ranged attacks, and can't reflect them well. He's also weak to high light. It burns him up and limits all power and movement.
Personality: Cruel. He loves fighting and shall provoke anyone into a fight. He's also a bit of a prankster. He will put a bug in someone's food just to make them mad.
