Decided to tap into my artistic side and give some suggestions a shot. Names aren't the most creative and descriptions could've been better, but guess they will do for short notice 😋

M A R I N E . . .

Plove

Concept Art:
http://i1150.photobucket.com/albums/o601/b_r0s/Plover.jpg

Egg Description:
These small eggs are translucent. While excellent camouflage, be careful not to step on one as they are extremely fragile!

Creature Description:
Flocks of Plove are commonly seen scouring the shores of ark for food. They are very quick and hyper-vigilant, making it extremely difficult to approach one. Plove are shy creatures but are willing to risk approaching an unsuspecting Arkian if they detect their next meal nearby.

Pelli

Concept Art:
http://i1150.photobucket.com/albums/o601/b_r0s/Pelican.jpg

Egg Description:
The closer a Pelli egg is to hatching, the clearer the shell becomes, allowing any curious onlooker to observe the creature maturing inside. Soft downy feathers slowly emerge. Don't allow it's small size to fool you, however. Pelli eggs are surprisingly heavy!

Creature Description:
Pelli replace their white downy with darker hue to better blend into their environment and catch their prey off guard. They are quite friendly and very curious. A Pelli will never forget you if you ever decide to feed it.

Wregeon
Pronunciation: Wrench + Pigeon

Concept Art:
http://i1150.photobucket.com/albums/o601/b_r0s/Pidgeon.jpg

Egg Description:
The feathers on Wregon eggs have a yielding, smooth texture but are as hard as steel. Handle with care because the edges of these feathers can cut through almost any material.

Creature Description:
Wregon are an peculiar species. The females are extremely concerned with preening themselves until they gain a lustrous shine to their plumage. Males, on the other hand, are constantly scouting out discarded metal to consume. They can be quite irritable when interrupted and are known for using Kung-Fu on their aggressors to scare them away. Unlike other pigeons, they are a very proud species that will refuse to take scraps from anyone and would rather go hungry.

Quarcan
Pronunciation: Quartz + Toucan

Concept Art:
http://i1150.photobucket.com/albums/o601/b_r0s/Toucan.jpg

Egg Description:
Absorbing the minerals from volcanic sediment to grow while being exposed to extremely high pressure and heat, Quarcan eggs are often mistaken for geodes and taken home to be put on display.

Creature Description:
Quarcan heavily rely on enriched soil to grow and remain healthy, so they prefer to reside in regions that are unpopulated. Their feathers are composed of the minerals they absorb for their environment. A Quarcan who has been taken out of it's preferred habitat will quickly develop a mineral deficiency - becoming sluggish and lackluster in appearance. The more diverse a Quarcan's diet, the more vibrantly it will sparkle - rivaling the brilliance of the almost every stone.

Aquingo
Pronunciation: Aqua + Flamingo

Concept Art:
http://i1150.photobucket.com/albums/o601/b_r0s/Flamingo.jpg

Egg Description:
Aquingo eggs cannot be grasped with bare hands. They will disperse and collect elsewhere if too much pressure if applied to them.

Creature Description:
Residing in shallow lakes or rivers, Aquingo want to do nothing more than just simply wade through cool, pristine water all day long. A flock of Aquingo can smell pollution from miles away and will actively seek out any body of water that needs to be purified. They will absorb the substances into their bodies while adjusting their pH in order to break the contaminants down into harmless, naturally-occurring chemicals found in nature.

Brellow
Pronunciation: Breeze + Swallow

Concept Art:
http://i1150.photobucket.com/albums/o601/b_r0s/image.jpeg

Egg Description:
Enveloped in a thick, overlapping shell that are bewilderingly sturdy yet light, Brellow eggs are swept up in the wind and are carried for miles and miles before they settled on the ground again. When a Brellow is close to hatching, the egg will generate it's own current and hover in a stationary position midair.

Creature Description:
Brellow are energetic creatures that love to swoop down to play with anyone passing by. They can be rather childish when ignored, however, and will continue to pester their target until they get what they want. A Brellow's mood can always be ascertained by the color of its translucent plumage. The lighter, the more jovial the Brellow.

Blazingbird
Pronunciation: Blaze + Hummingbird

Concept Art:
http://i1150.photobucket.com/albums/o601/b_r0s/Hummingbird.jpg

Egg Description:
It is said that the eggs of Blazingbirds are actually will o the wisp and are not born, but formed from the remains of wild birds that were held in captivity and longed to be free again.

Creature Description:
Here one moment, gone the next, you will never know when a Blazingbird will appear. They blaze with a flame so hot that their molecular structure vibrates fast enough to allow them to phase through solid objects. It is often debated whether these creatures are of the living or dead, but most believe that a Blazingbird is a spirit that rises with a vengeance to never to captive again. Owners who have repeatedly attempted to keep their Blazingbird within a locked cage have been said to find their homes ablaze.

Caelpavo
Pronunciation: (Latin) Caelestis + Pavo

Concept Art:
http://i1150.photobucket.com/albums/o601/b_r0s/Peacock.jpg

Egg Description:
Said to have descended from the heavens, these eggs appear before those who later claim to have had pleasant dreams.

Creature Description:
Caelpavo hover between the celestial and physical realm. They seem to defy the laws of physics during their descent to Earth - walking on thin air as if it was solid ground.

Caelpavo appear around midnight, above the houses of those who slumber. It is thought that they can peer into minds and project themselves into the dreams of any chosen individual. Many say that a Caelpavo appeared to them to inspire or forewarn of future events. They are drawn to people who are aspiring, enthusiastic, and almost unrealistic in their approach to life. Caelpavo are often seen arguing with their more logical counterparts, the Caelphasi.

Caelphasi
Pronunciation: (Latin) Caelestis + Phasianus

Concept Art:
http://i1150.photobucket.com/albums/o601/b_r0s/image_1.jpeg

Egg Description:
Said to have descended from the heavens, these eggs appear before those who later claim to have collapsed from exhaustion after an intense intellectual pursuit.

Creature Description:
Caelphasi are multi-dimensional beings that are constantly searching for knowledge and have a strong affinity for geometric shapes. A Caelphasi has 3 pairs of eyes that are never focused in one particular spot until it fixates its full attention on someone (or something) worthy of its curiosity.

They appear around midday, above institutions and places of intellectual pursuit. It is thought that they can peer into minds and can project themselves into the thoughts of any chosen individual. Many say that a Caelphasi can shed knowledge and understanding on any subject. They are drawn to people who are logical, rely on evidence, and have a more practical approach to life. Caelphasi are often seen arguing with their more abstract counterparts, the Caelpavo.
