Anna left her home and locked the door with a click. She walked around town, the wind rustling her hair. She pulled a strand of hair out of her face.

After walking for a while, Anna saw the bakery. She bent down to adjust her shoes. It was so hard to keep them tied of her bird feet. She sighed and went inside.

"Hello." Anna said, waving to the person at the counter. She sat down in a booth.

Anna noticed that her wings were pushing to escape. She stumbled to the bathroom in a panic. There, she locked the stall door and let her wings out. She sighed in relief.

The air was warm and felt nice against my slightly tan skin as I walked along a different path than earlier. I could see the parks gate just ahead and I wondered if the boy would actually show up. I mean, for all he knew, I could have been some psycho murderer or a major stalker. Some people trust too easily and I wasn't one of them.

I reached the park gate and scoped out the area to see if he was there. Nope, no sign of him. I spotted a bench a few feet away and decided to take a seat, resting my ankles on the opposite knee and plopping my arms on the back of the bench behind me. "A bakery, huh?" I thought about the fact that I hated sweets. Perhaps they had savory pastries, or some coffee.

It was hard to find a decent cup of joe in this city, unfortunately. I always had to go out of town when I had a true hankering for the real good stuff. It's hard to be a coffee connoisseur in a town with nothing but the crappy instant stuff. I let my head lean back and continued to fantasize about coffee.

Paxon pulled out his phone, and almost jumped in surprise. He should have been at the gate two minuets ago! Turning to the boy, he said, "I've gotta go! Maybe I'll catch ya later or something!" The avian quickly dashed off toward the gate. Fortunately it wasn't far. He reached the gate out of breath and leaned against the short wall to rest.

"Sorry... I'm late... Lost track... of time! Sorry," he apologized, looking at the man. Paxon thought for a second and realized he never got his name. He straighten up and asked, "What is your name by the way?"

I lifted my head from its rested position when I heard the boy huffing and puffing. I looked over at him with a smirk. "You okay there?" I teased as I watched him try to catch his breath. Not very athletic, I guessed. He was rather small and slender. "It's fine. Not like two minutes is the end of the world." I got to my feet and walked over to him, grabbing his hand with my significantly larger one. "Names Dalton." I looked him directly in the eyes as I spoke my name and placed a soft kiss on the back of his hand. "And you?" I continued with a grin.

Xander could overhear the tall woman ask the red headed cashier for some suggestions in what she should have, unsure herself about all the selections this bakery had to offer too. Tilting his head in her direction, he gave her a much friendlier smile than the look from before, and raised his glazed donut in the air slightly. "The donuts are great." He commented, butting into the two's conversation. It wasn't something he normally did... But he wanted to at least help the girl out of a potentially awkward situation.

The chime of the door opening yet again resonated throughout the space and in walked another girl with long, blonde hair. She seemed skiddish and rushed, shouting a fairly quick "Hello!" at the red head before tensing up and dashing into the restroom.

Xander raised a confused brow at the other woman he had just been talking to. That was weird. He thought. Maybe she had to pee?

He could already feel himself blushing again. Was it weird that it felt like a hundred butterflies were in his stomach? Paxon took his unoccupied hand and ran it through his hair, like he tended to do when nervous.

"M-my name is Paxon. It's very nice to meet you! Again, sorry I kept you waiting. I'm ready if you are!" It all of a sudden hit him that he had no idea what kind of food Dalton liked. "Oh! We don't have to go to Sugar Wings if you don't want to! It was just the first place that came to mind. If you have any other suggestions, I'm open to ideas!"

Anna drew her wings back in and left the restroom. She adjusted her annoying shoes and stood up again. She sat down and glanced up. She saw Xander and waved, trying to be friendly.

Anna could smell the fresh donuts and she reached in her pocket for change. She fumbled around before walking up to the cashier, waiting to order a donut.

"there's something about that person..." Loli thought as Anna came back up. "Welcome to Sugar Wing, how can I help you?" she called like she always does. She did a quick time slow. No feathers exposed on her. Either she was just weird, or she was doing a great job hiding herself.

I released the boys hand and continued to look into his eyes as he rambled on. Paxon, huh? How interesting. I had a feeling that this was going to be a fun day.

Once Paxton stopped talking, I gave a light shrug and a smile. "Let's go there. I don't really care." I ran my fingers through my fringe, making sure my jet black hair was still in place. "I'm gussied a sweet thing like you, likes to eat sweets?" I teased with a flirtatious tone to my deep voice.

Xander watched as the girl fumbled around from the washroom, to the table, and then to the counter to order something. She just couldn't sit still from the moment she got in here. Seeing her give a short wave and a smile, he raised his hand up as well and did a small wave back, unsure if that meant she wanted to come over and sit with him or just thought he was cute.

Leaning back in his chair, he finished up his donut and balled his trash into his palm. Man, that was by far the best donut he had in this city...

Anna smiled at the cashier. "What an odd name." she commented. "Could I get a glazed donut?" Anna said, looking at the donuts behind her. Her stomach rumbled in hunger. She forced another smile. Her feet were aching and she knew she had to get home soon.

Anna counted the change and pushed the money towards the Cashier. "I think this is enough." she said.

Loli took the money and handed Anna a glazed donut. "Have a nice day!" she called to her. Sugar just stared a disapproving stare at Anna, then whipped over to Loli and laid next to her. "Huh.." Loli thought.

Star looked around. She thought it was safe here. "There couldn't possibly be an Avian hunter at a bakery!" she thought as she walked in Sugar Wing. She was greeted by the cashier nicely, but she felt time slow down near her.

Anna smiled. "Thank you!" she said. She was on her way back to her seat when she tripped. Her donut flew under the table and she quickly reached for her shoes. Anna pulled her right shoe back up and tied it. She grabbed her donut and sat down. She quickly glanced around.

Anna stared at her donut, thinking of everything that could have gone wrong.

Xander stood up from his spot and pushed in his chair, getting ready to leave. He reached down to grab his bag and throw it over his shoulder and walked towards the trash can to throw away the parchment paper. Looking back over his shoulder, he called to the cashier. "Hey, that was a really great donut. No wonder you have your own place!"

While he was distracted, he didn't realize that the door had opened and someone else had walked in. In the back of his mind, he could hear the sound of the door chime, but it wasn't until the person bumped into his arm to pass him that he could see who it was. It was another girl, much shorter than him, with a baseball cap and green hair. This place is getting busy.

Just as he turned to leave, Xander saw the skiddish girl fall elbows first to the floor. He was amazed that she was able to keep her donut in hand. "Are you okay?" He asked, but it fell on deaf ears as she quickly shot up and fixed her shoes. She ran to the nearest table to sit down. Following suit, Xander walked over to her and crouched down to her level. "Are you alright?" He asked again, this time sounding a bit more concerned than surprised.

His eyes opened with surprise and glowing with an impressed expression. Paxon smiled, but also had a confused look.

"Lucky guess. But yeah! I do like sweets. Actually, I love them! Anything with sugar, really. The same doesn't go for drinks though. Not a big fan of soda. Weird, I know. Sorry I'm rambling!" He put his hand on the back of his neck and judging by how warm it was, Paxon inferred that he was blushing. Deciding that they should probably get going, the avian started to walk out the gate.

Anna bit her lip. She could feel her wings pushing to get out. "Just hang in there.." she whispered. She looked at Xander. "I'm fine. Excuse me, I have to use the restroom." Anna smiled and stood up. She walked towards the bathroom, fighting her wings.

Loli looked suprised. "She's very strange. Maybe I batter check again." She called to one of her worker to work there and rushed to the restrooms. She went in the stall next to Anna and waited for signs of an Avian.

Star looked around. Her wings jerked a little near the counter. It seemed like there was an Avian hunter around here. She decided to buy a cupcake, then went to go sit down at a table.

Anna had heard someone come in next to her and she slowly let her wings out. She was careful to try to not make any noise. She pulled the toilet lid down and sat there. She bumped her arm on the toilet paper holder and winced. "Ouch!" she said quietly.

Neith shifted away from the counter as someone else entered and ordered. She bit back a sigh of relief as the attention was turned away from her. But only momentarily as another woman walked in.

Neith shifted to stand by the far wall, pressing herself away from the majority of the people. Hoping that she could slip out of the door before things got too crowded. Although she wasn't that hopeful.

I've seen several RPs that promote romance between characters since I got back.

"No romance roleplaying" has always been a rule, its been in the ToS since day one. You can have "crushes" but absolutely nothing suggestive or explicit. Any roleplay where we find posts that get near or cross the line get warned. I'm letting you know this now so that you can make sure future posts follow the rules so your RP doesn't get closed.

You're right. Lets continue without romance.

Loli actually used the restroom now. (I am not adding too much detail on the restroom.) She finished and then went out. Everything seemed okay, so she continued on her job. It was getting later. "It's almost time for the rest break." she thought.

Star came over to a table with a cupcake. She took a bite before she checked the time. It was time to leave to the Garden Shop. She picked up her stuff and went outside. It was nice out there, but she needed to go.

Anna left the bathroom without even trying to pretend to flush. She yawned and left the shop. She walked to her house and let her wings out and took her shoes off.

After watching TV, Anna made sure everything was locked and the blinds were closed. She put on her shoes and hid her wings. She went outside for a walk.

Sparky laid down. His stomach growled. Hearing it, he picked up his backpack he was using and opened it. Inside there was a game, a box of pizza, and a ball. He picked up a slice of pizza (do they even have pizza here?) and took a bite. It was really good. He saw someone else coming. He cleaned up everything and put it in his bag. "Hi!" he called to the person. (Anna)

He replied "I'm Sparky!" He opened his bag and pulled out the box of pizza. "Would you like some pizza?" He grabbed a slice of cheese pizza and ate it. "I also have pepperoni pizza and hawaiian pizza. No combo pizza of course." He opened the box to show her. The pizza smells fresh. "I made it myself!" he said proudly.
