Oblivion Paradise // Sign-ups & Discussion

Alright, it's been quite a long time since the last time I roleplayed here (ever since I found chicken smoothie it has always been there) so let me give it a try again.

Just like every other year, the time had come for those fateful people who were chosen to go to Serenity Island, as they called that place. It was a fairly large island, owned by a tycoon who always managed to somehow make himself unseen. No one knew his name, and businessmen simply addressed him as him. Every year, around the end of summer, some teenagers and adults would be sent a letter, informing them about their unexpected holiday. Their schools and companies would be handed a thick wad of money, and they go on to Serenity Island, without worry.

"...19, 20. Ta-ta! Welcome all to Serenity Island! I hope you'll enjoy your stay here, whether short or long. There is a minor problem I ought to tell you about though.. All of you will be trying to kill each other and no one gets to leave. Also half you all of you gathered here will be going home, each of you will have a chance at a murder! Well, that's pretty much all, but don't let that bother your stay here, have fun! Once again, I hope you enjoy your stay here at Serenity Island, or, as I like to call it, Oblivion Paradise."


• No godmodding, Gary-Sues/Mary-Sues
• Use correct grammar, spelling. (emphasis on this. don't mess up your and you're, there and their, these mistakes are completely ridiculous to me)
• Post at least 3 decent sentences per post.
• Be active, please.
• At least and at most 2 characters per person, one of your characters will die.
• Fade to black or something when violence is included.
• Ages from >16
• Keep genders even, 10 girls and 10 boys.
• The tycoon is a NPC. I'll have a form for him too.
• Put any animal in "other" if you read everything in this post.
• Ping all other roleplayers in your posts.


To the north, all of the 20 cabins where the visitors will be staying. In each cabin is a comfy bed and a couple of stuff for leisure, including a TV, laptop and some game consoles.

To the east is the typical beach, if you're the type that goes out often. A little north of that is the high-class restaurant where all foods available in the world are served for free!

In the middle of the island, there's a big leisure center where you can have all the fun you want. There's a field (don't bother about the fact that it's in a middle of an island), a swimming pool and even a sauna!

To the west and south of Serenity Island is another beach, just that you need to walk farther, whichever you prefer to go! All the different places are connected by boardwalks, but if you want to walk barefooted on the sand, go ahead!


• No loitering around after 11 p.m.! Cabin doors will be automatically locked from 11 p.m. to 7 a.m.
• Breakfast, lunch and dinner will be served at 9 a.m., 2 p.m. and 7.30 p.m. respectively at the restaurant.
• I advise you not to attempt to escape the island, unless you're willing to die.
• There are treasures hidden all around the island (weapons in this case), so bring a shovel along whenever you go out! (it'll be provided!)

@ushafuse I'm interested but I just gotta ask one question for clarification. The at least and at most two characters means we have to make two and only two characters correct?

I'm interested. So... What exactly is the point of the RP? 20 people go on a island and 10 people are allowed to murder 10 other people? How will that be decided? Just a bit confused. Lol

Appearance: Bubbles wears a blue hoodie. She wears jeans too, and white sneakers. She sometimes wears a baseball cap. She has dirty blonde hair and light skin.
Personality: Cheerful and bubbly. She gets really fired up when something exciting happens.
Other: She is a great swimmer. (see the name)

Name: Sparky
Age: 24
Gender (sorry but only m/f): m
Appearance: Sparky wears a yellow jacket and a black t-shirt. He also has yellow sneakers and a cap on. His pants are jeans. He has light brown kind-of-spiky hair and tanned skin.
Personality: Serious and helpful. He can think of good plans, but nobody listens to them.
Other: He eats a lot.
Backstory (optional): None

Oh, and these are my all the time characters. Bubbles & Sparky. Almost every time. I've had to edit them, so I hope they're okay.
