Why Are We Stuck With English in Eggcave?

When ever you add the special things of another language (chinese, japanese) it doesn't work and when you try adding a new language in more posts, you get banned. Why?

And....
When I innocently try to add Japanese names like my name for Metapod in Japanese, that forum gets closed. Why?

This is because Egg Cave is an English based and run site. Restricting public posts to English is not an attempt to restrict players who speak other languages but our attempt to keep this site safe for everyone. We would never be able to have enough mods to monitor every known/spoken language. So we kindly ask to keep public things like forum posts, profiles, statuses, ect. to be in English so that no harassment, scam, ect. goes unknown because we can't read or understand it. If you wish to speak languages other than English you are free to do so in PMs.

Special characters, like kanji, in creature names is currently being discussed. This is an unforeseen side effect of using an updated character set with version 3.
