*after the patrol* Cloudpaw padded back into camp, his jaws full with a partridge he's caught but didn't want to eat. "The hunting patrol must not be back yet," he said to himself, eyeing the nearly empty fresh-kill pile.

Whiskerpaw put his small mouse in the pile and ran into the Medicine cat den..He had a secret: He trains as a Med cat too.

After seeing the patrol return, Cloudpaw looked around for his brother. He caught a glimpse of a familiar striped tail disappearing into the medicine cats' den. "I hope nothing's wrong," he thought, and followed Whiskerpaw.
