Archive Errors

The following are some grammatical errors I've detected in the Archives (yes, many are small errors but bother me nonetheless):

1. Carnivorse
Archives Say: As its natural coat color fades in dark,
It should be: As its natural coat color fades in the dark,

2. Adiped
Archives Say: used by ancient civilizations both as a high-energy food source and as a means to obtaining oil.
It should be: used by ancient civilizations both as a high-energy food source and as a means of obtaining oil.

3.Akrep
Archives Say: The blooms on Akrep tails secret a potent toxin similar to the compound produced by their blooms that is capable of
It should be: The blooms on Akrep tails secrete a potent toxin similar to the compound produced by their blooms that are capable of

Comma errors

1. Lyralopex
Archives Say: Hugging the egg actually is recommended however;
It should be: Hugging the egg actually is recommended, however;

2. Kittynk
Archives say: This ink is not commercially available and Ark City's government
It should be: This ink is not commercially available, and Ark City's government

@mythlight the akrep edit you suggest is false. The "is" refers to the product, not the blooms.

No. The point of the sentence is to say that the toxin secreted by the blooms is capable of incapacitating small animals (it is also pointed out that this toxin is similar to the compound produced by their blooms). The entire paragraph in fact is focused on the toxin.

Also, I think you should post the entire sentences, they are not that long and of course things sometimes don't make sense when you chop off half the sentence.

Yes, the sentences are really long. That's why I chopped them off.
