Donations Center?

How does the Donations Center even work?

Is it only for creatures? Do you have to pay to adopt? And how/where do I donate things to the center? I couldn't find anywhere to do it...

The Donations Center is where people can send unwanted items, anything from travels to food items to books. When you click on an item in your inventory you will see a "Donate" button. Clicking this button will send the item to the Donations Center, there is no cost to do this. Similarly there is no cost to pick up an item from the Donation Center.
